So I'll be getting rid of the runts (ww 8 and ww3) since I'm looking for a breeding pair I don't want stunted or mutants for the process. So Friday will be day 70. I messed up a lot, did lst and used big pots so I'm thinking these might go 3-5 more weeks. They smelled so amazing a few times today though. First the purple punch, then the sour diesel, then the girl scout cookies, each gave off aromas one after the other a few times today. The purple punch smalls so sweet and delicious.

Wish the buds would have got a little bigger but feel like that’s particularly my fault for a short Veg but overall I am blow away by the outcome for all the seeds to just be random bag seeds! 2 of the plants are drying now 3rd one will be cut tomorrow & the other 2 got probably 2 more weeks! Will do a taste & smoke report and also give a weight as soon as they dry & cure a little bit but honestly couldn’t be happier with my first grow! Extremely happy with the out come this is honestly some of the best bud I have ever smoked! Amazing to me this came from a random bag seed, it has a very citrusy flavor, smells & smokes amazing! Honestly a 10/10 in my book, wish I could knew what strain this was so I could grow it again!😫❄️✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 3 Dry weight 34g, smells & look phenomenal, the buds are much smaller & had the smallest yield so far but this is by far the best smelling so far! Will have a smoke update on this one soon, stay tuned friends & happy growing!✌️🏼🌱 Update - plant 5 dry weight was 52g it dried a little faster than plant 4 which I will probably jar tomorrow! Apple Fritter is doing good. Just switched light to 12/12. Increased nutrition on last solution change. I cut a clipping I am attempting to clone. If all good I will start a diary next week for it. Welcome to my Runtz X Layer Cake Female Diary from Barneysfarm. Wk 9 Days 58-63 (device was lost, and all picture,video days 57-69 were lost, so here's my account) just had finished pre flower and started to stack heavily on building top bud sites. Laded with thich compact trichomes. She has bright orange hairs. That give of a lovely musk of armoas that take over your senses. 2/3rds down the main bud sites, very healthy huge sugar leafs surround her, but, if hasn't taken away from below, as the sites are smaller, but have so much frost. And she had at least 14-20 more days. Wk 10 days 64-70 As you can see. She has a beautiful shape. Some of the nicest looking bud I've yet grown. She took to LST really well. Had I lollipopped the heck out of her, and make for some pretty good solid top colas with some small dense bud sites that have 1/3 the trichomes to calyxs. The calyex to sugar leaf ratio is super low, but 2/3s down she has many large sugar leafs that have shaded out her canopy. But, by moving her around and adjusting LST and leaf tucking. I've literally done hardly any defoliation. Am going to squeeze some in this week. Not, that its needed. But, there is some still more growing to do down below. And if I leave her to mature without allowing light to hit her harder down further into the canopy I risk the chance of overcooking the hard earned Rock Hard half fist sized buds. Have a feeling this gonna be some of my best smoke to date. The plant is in tip top shape. No defiencies no toxicity. 1st time for me. Am just going to let her ride out the next 2 weeks on water. Hello. Got the plants into the main grow room. There is 2 videos . In the first I just sit in the room quitly and turn the camera. you get a sense :) of what it's like in there. In the second I try to describe what's in the room, equipment and maybe a new technique. With the tomato cages I use, and needing the plant to slow down, I twist the stock into a large figure 8. Eventually I take off what is on the lower part of the 8, and just work the top of the 8. About 2 weeks in veg in this room. Then I take clones of everything before I switch to flower. >Carbon dioxide enhancement: I had to make that choice 20 years ago. I could, rent a tank and have my name on a list, at the gas store. Or make my own. They didn't have the small propane tanks like they do today for the blue flame you get when you burn it. I decided on a kerosene lamp burning down as low as it could be without going out. It makes a half blue and half yellow flame. I vent constantly so the small amount of carbon monoxide is not a problem. For the first week you can smell it a bit, but the smell disappears after that. I light the lamp in the morning and put it out at lights out (unless it's bed time). It needs to be put in a place in the room that cant get knocked over (pets, children, ?). I try to use extra attention whenever I use it. It can burn down the place. Be careful Please. >About 17 years ago I thought I'd lower my table by knocking a hole in the cement and dropping my 10 gallon reservoir more. I was able to lower it by 16 inches. Still have to watch the height of some plants though, it worked out well. Watch the video. > Air cleaner: The reason I got a big 8 inch exhaust fan was, I had a bout of powder mildew and needed better a exhaust system. When I plugged it in there was too much air moving. I phoned and asked and the salesman said that a dimmer switch wasn't a good idea. I put one on anyway. Works great. I have the fan barely on in the winter and about half way on in the middle of the summer. I haven't had any powdery mildew since. About 12 years ago I bought a good air cleaner. An ORECK, It has electrified plates that zap any organic particle or spore that come between the plates. Use to grow a Northern Lights that got 6 to 8 ounces per harvest, it grew big buds. Buds as big as my forearm. I had problems with gray mold attaching the buds. But none since I bought the air cleaner. Ya learn as you go.

Even though it has only been 4 days since my last update, I want to upload whenever I do more then just water my plant. Something that being said since my last upload I did put more of a bend in the main stalk and defoliated alot of the up higher and down low branches trying to keep it all the same height.
