This week was ok nice short internode space and quite a little bushy plant .it's a shame about the little holes by the bugs I'm gonna try covering the soil with tin foil to stop them from coming out this is why I normally growing coco. I'm just feeding it some silica and root expander at the moment because the PPM in the soil is quite high but instead of flushing it which could over water the plants immediately I'm just going to let the plant eat it. it has showed no sign of burning or toxicity I've been mixing up soil for free years mainly for the outdoor flowers I thought I would give it a try in the soil but the PPM is hi not massively amount it's just about a thousand ppm but other than that all things are well . Hey guys :-) . Today the plant was sprayed again with neem oil. There weren't any more trips to be seen after the second application, but to be on the safe side, you did it again today get a cure. That's why the beautiful dark shimmer on the leaves :-). The ladies are developing well and have 1 week before I change the time to flowering. Normally I would let it get bigger and train because the tent only has 80x80 and 180 watts are available, so I will switch it over soon enough. This week it was poured twice with 0.8 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Otherwise everything was cleaned and, as always, everything was checked. This 10gal reservoir has been a game changer!!! If you’ve been wasting/going through your nutrients fast I suggest you get one of these and in the comments add Midnitrtoker from IG sent me. Trying to get sponsored and give one of these systems away!! Like I said i filled up the res with 10gal and it has gone 4weeks!!! Today I empty out what’s left and change the feed to flower. That means we up the EC a tad and let it go. If 10gal lasted up 4 weeks we will be using 5gal this time and hope it lasts us the first 3 weeks of flower. I have not experienced any deficiencies the tips are turning purple but that’s because my night temps drop to the low 70s even to 69F. I took cuts of these girls again. Next round we will be using Floraflex or Athena. Same environment different nutrients we will see which company gives us the biggest harvest. See you all at the end of week 1 Flower.

Plant packing on the weight, trichomes starting to form. Some fan leaves have dried up and fallen off, bringing new light to the bud sites! Little splash of big bud added, to try keep the weight on.

Still one orange Sherbert lags behind the rest in the race, I’m hoping it will be just s pheno thing rather than a weak spot in my room. All others looking great and possibly better than I’d normally be seeing at this stage of my grow. The plants have started to kick out an aroma, a skunky hash smell I’d say, at the moment anyway. The buds look like they should be fat, of the density I’m not so sure, let’s see how much they fatten up and tighten up. Beautiful covering of frost across all flowering areas covering pistils and leaves. I think at this stage that 3 of the 4 will be ready to harvest at 8 Or 9 weeks the slow one maybe at 10 weeks. ANYBODY!!!! Out there using New millennium WinterFrost. I’m really thinking about hitting the girls with the fear of death when the time comes, is it as effective as I’m lead to believe?????

Week four! Here are the first signs of flowering. This girl has picked up the pace, growing 20 cm this week. She drank 300 ml three times during the week, for a total of 0.9 l. I halved the nutrient doses (starting this week for flowering), but despite this, the new leaves continue to show signs of nutrient burn. Next week, I will only give her water with controlled pH to fix this problem. There are probably too many nutrients left in the soil, and this beauty is not so hungry. The lamp is now 30 cm away and dimmed to 75%. Ready for week five? Now the fun begins!

Last week (9th) of flower harvested at day 63 flowering I had some overwatering problems in week 3-4 which threw me back like 2-3 weeks of veg, all plants had stunted growth... I did some lolipoping just before flowering but it seems it wasn't enough...alot of small budsites...will remove more next time... All in all i'm still very satisfied with the harvest, alot of nice mid-sized nuggets, all over resin Will add harvest weeks for both strains next week after i dried them

Organization was the word for the week. I organized the leaves on Daphni by cutting some old fan leaves and low level leaves. I organized my CO2 injection procedure. CO2 tank to REGULATOR thru SOLENOID connected to TIMER every two hours with lights on. I also organized the power strip in the back with cable ties and sleeves. Finally I had to organize my way out of a FUBAR situation when the oxigenating device in the RainForest 66 Reservoir stopped working. I will have some words to say to Katie in customer service for sure. I got a standard oxiginator and a disk shaped air stone and use that now to keep the water healthy. Daphni is staring to bud more on the lower nodes and the progress so far looks good. Knock on wood. Since i turn the exhaust fan off when CO2 is injected i dont really need the heater so I took it out. Have a great week.

End of Week 9 (Second week of flower) Increased the CO2 to 1300ppm and the ladies have stopped stretching. The main top-sites are starting to form buds. I defoliated a few fan leaves again because the fan leaves are growing so fast and blocking bud sites I also gave a cup of worm castings as a top-up to each pot to give the microbes a boost and it replenishes vital minerals to the soil. Pest Report: None

Now on day 49,47&41 flowering has started and they are looking lovely. Started adding 19-4-23 well water into every other watering ..

This was an interesting harvest. Everything was going great and the buds/trichomes were still piling on, when suddenly almost overnight plant "C" shifted to about 20% amber trichomes. So I harvested it, and because the other plant wasn't ready yet I decided to try water curing the first one for 7 days. Then at the end of the 7 days, I figured I'd hack down plant "D" and dry them both on the racks in the tent at the same time before moving into jars. The water curing was a huge success! After the first day, the water was cloudy with a slight green tinge. Second day was about the same. Then the water was just a little cloudy each change, no green tinge. Compare it to the diary I just opened around water re-curing some cannabis I bought from the government store, where the water is diarrhea brown :O On day 7 of my water cure, the water was perfectly clear so I decided to hack down plant "D" and get them both drying on racks in the tent together. While water-curing plant "C", I had its trim sitting in a bowl in the freezer. When I hacked down plant "D", I put its trim in the same bowl. After my typical wet-trimming, I hung up Plant "C"'s water-cured buds on the top rack, plant "D"'s buds on the 2nd rack for an old fashioned cure, and random trim from both plants spread out on the bottom 2 racks. The water-cured buds dried within about 24 hours and went into a jar with a 58% humidipack. The buds are SUPER dense and potent! Nice clean high, doesn't kill my throat. The downside is that the taste is really weak and not that great. But everything has pros and cons. Almost no trichome loss in the bucket during the water curing as well -- I was really worried about that! The other buds dried in about 36 hours and went into a jar with a 58% humidipack, where I burped it many times a day for a week. The smell and flavour are much more potent than the water-cured bud and it's a little harsher on my throat, but otherwise I'm not sure there's a detectable difference. However, you can SEE there's a sharp visual difference between the water-cured buds and the jar-cured :) Of course the jar-cured will mature more with time as well. Once the trim was completely dry, I put it in a bag in the deep freezer and dropped it to about -20. I didn't need to use a grinder this way -- I could just mash it all up in the bag with extreme ease! Sifted it through the kief screen, and pressed down 17 grams of lazy-man's hash! After processing the trim through the kief screen, I decarbed in the oven at 200F for 1 hour (this converts THC-A into THC or something to that effect -- if you don't do this, the edibles won't get you very high). I put the trim into a big mason jar and back into the freezer along with my bottle of Everclear. Once they dropped somewhere down around -20, I poured in the Everclear, put the lid on, and shook as hard as I could, as often as I could, for 5 minutes or so. I noticed that as I shook it around, the contents inside would alternate between solid and liquid which was kinda cool :) Shake it one way and it freezes, shake it the other way and it thaws... or something to that effect, anyway. I was able to use a double-coffee-filter to extract about 2 cups of dragon tincture! I threw everything in the coffee filter out -- next time I'm going to do a better job of it as there's a little pile of trichomes that forms at the bottom of the filter which I could put to use. Once I get that down next harvest, I'll have around 99% efficiency milking every last drop out of my harvests! White chocolate is so yummy, as are candy canes... I wanted to combine the two to make some edibles. Looking around for candy cane crush, I decided to check out Amazon. They had the same candy cane crush I was looking at from popular stores, for only a couple dollars more, so I figured sure why not have it delivered. I was planning to get some white Baker's chocolate, but on checkout of the candy cane crush I got a deal for adding on white chocolate Lindt bars for $1.25 a piece LOL! So I bought 10 of those. When the Amazon package arrived, I slowly boiled down 1/2 cup of my dragon tincture in a pot, then used a double-boiler setup to melt down 4 of the Lindt bars in the same pot. Once it was mixed well with the hash oil, I set it aside to cool for about 3 minutes before stirring in 1/8 cup of candy cane crush (plus I ended up adding maybe like a tablespoon more), pouring into a pan lined with parchment paper, and putting in the freezer for 30 minutes. So now I have a nice big chunk of white chocolate candy cane crunch stuff where a piece the size of my thumb gets me super high for like 8+ hours; 17 grams of lazy-man's hash; and 88 grams of bud :) And still enough dragon tincture left over to make 3 more rounds of edibles -- not sure what I'll make next! From now on I'm going to water cure a large portion of all my buds -- not just the ones I grow myself, but ones I buy from the Gummint too!
