A 4 hour planned power outage in my area gave me the excuse to flip the girls. Kept the lights off for a cycle then immediately went 12/12. Although the temperature dropped to a root freezing 58°F, the reservoir didn't have a chance to fluctuate much and I also kept my air pumps running for an extra hour and a half off my computer backup battery! The battle with root rot is basically over. I am taking care to rinse the roots every once and a while. Growth has been amazing! Loving DWC! It also gives me things to do as I lie to pay attention to my plants. Doing a thorough clean with H2O2 every res change. PPM is around 800-900. Drops fast now. Every two days I check PH and correct if necessary. Usually it's been around 6.2-6.3 when I check. I PH it back down to 5.8. I've heard that flowering is a little on the acidic side so I'm planning on dropping my PH to 5.5-5.6. Did a major defoliation after this diary entry. Will do another in three weeks. 4/9/25 This plant is beyond frosty. Stacking up super nicely. Seems like she will yeild quite a bit. My only gripe is that she has like no smell at all. Day 52. The first seed-filled calyxes appear. I just got a new ph meter, this time also for the earth.. PH was neatly in the basement... well pH corrected. And now she can hopefully refuel properly... hope it makes a little more mass.. but the main thing is two or three seeds... Soil was freshly mixed and I didn't check it before using it... can happen👻😅.

Sorry for the delay guys been a shit week for the most part. I took these pics before I left on Friday and a quick video. I planned to come back on sunday get some good pics and harvest but broke my clavicle saturday and now I'm scramblin and the next 6 to 8 weeks I'll be extremely limited. I'll do my best but it's my right side and I'm a firm righty, lefty is like speaking Japanese for me. The buds on #2 didnt quite fill in, it was completely tipped over on mondsy night it was so dried out so I cant get full plant shots but will get some nug shots hopefully. They smell fantastic and are very sticky. Heavy tangie candy spice aromas. I'll chop it down tonight if I dont have to get surgery today. The first one just finished drying and I just have to figure out a way to trim it.

Well, my very first grow, 2 main mistakes I done is overdosing with nutrients and over defoliating her. In the next grow I’ll focus to avoid these mistakes, and try to make less but bigger buds. This run was perfect for learning about the plant and the whole process, overall I’m happy to finish with something in my hand.
