Week 5 starts with a growth burst. I chopped some leaf back that I could not tuck away and she's recovers really well. I noticed I had snapped her stem a bit as I was carrying out LST last week. This has healed over nicely and in fact looks like it's done some good. Is that HST?? Anyway she's doing great. Shape is good for me, now I hope she will bulk up.. Day 34 took some of the bigger light blocking leaf, pulled a bit more here and there as she goes into flower. Im very happy with her Stay safe everyone during this crazy 2020. Happy growing.

Friday: Hi there! This week I did'n do much behave of feeding nutrients. Sunday I will defoliate again and switch the outtake fan because of heat and humidity. It was 29,5 degrees in the tent Friday and the airflow can be better. But in the end this is a new tent and a new location at a friends house so I'm trying to bring al factors to the perfect conditions.. Next run it will be Calafornian Snow Autoflowers at this location due that I am not there every day..

This week, I gave my plants more fertilizer to test if they show any signs of burning. Now, I'm stressed out! I think I should give myself some seaweed to relieve the stress 😂 The girls show signs of calcium deficiency. I sprayed a small amount of calcium and magnesium on them to help them recover faster. I’m not sure why the new leaves are very pale. Could they be lacking iron? I think the high soil moisture might be causing issues with iron absorption, but I’m not completely sure. I’ll wait and see what happens this week. Considering that I use regular water, I expected them not to have a calcium deficiency.

Apologies folks! I was out of town for the past couple of weeks. Had someone watching over Bruce in my absence, but no progress pictures were taken. Hope you're in for a treat! Lots of pictures this week (may seem repetitive but I was excited lol) even did a quick video under some florescent lights :) Did I mention that I love Main-Lining? Timing couldn't have been more perfect. Before I left the country, I installed the tomato cage and did the final topping, and she was pretty much good to go. Hello, Day 47, 48, and day 49, Flower Phase , PGK, Everything looks fine, seems ok for the moment. RH is high these days, very near to harvest and i am going to finish this grow after 10-12 weeks or Day 70-84. also gave 2nd dose of NPK (0.6-3-3).Thanks. 11/3 - Today was the first day of week 5 and also the first day I could see a visibly measurable decrease in her water level between check-ins (~12 hours apart). As a result of her drinking so much water in such a short time, the ppms shot up to almost 800. I used straight tap (7.5 pH, 170ppm) to adjust since her pH was also measuring 5.3. I adjusted her with this method until she registered 5.6pH and 670ppm (1.0ec + tap, 500ppm of nutrients). I would prefer for her pH to be a bit higher (5.8, ideally), but I will settle with this for now since the water is back to just touching the basket. Over the last couple days I've been adjusting her LST to help her bush up as much as possible. I can already see the heavy Sativa influence in her compared to her sister in the tent. I can't wait to see what she will throw at me. 11/4 - I wasn't even planning on doing an update today, but I want to note a few changes. Her root bundle is over a foot long and getting more wound up every day. I removed her LST ties in order to take advantage of the ScrOG screen apparatus (see notes below). After lights came back on, she measured 650ppm and had another notable drop in water level. Currently, I am preparing another nutrient solution that closely matches what she is feeding on now. I will be upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket. I will be aiming for 1ec of nutrients/additives (500ppm + Tap on my meter, Hanna Primo .5 conversion). Tap measured 180ppm, so target ppm would be 680. Later that same day... So I finished upgrading her to a 5 gallon bucket before I actually got done writing the update. Added one photo showing new 5 gallon setup. Solo ScrOG test mk1 - In an attempt to do a ScrOG, but maintain control over each bucket, while still having relatively easy access to each reservoir, I decided to throw together this little contraption. I removed the lowest complete segment of a tomato cage, leaving a short "tail" beyond the lower ring to act as a peg to insert into corresponding holes in the lid. The lower ring is 10" in diameter and the upper is approximately 12" in diameter. Each ring is 11" apart. I would prefer to have a shorter segment, but I haven't worked out exactly how to do this yet. I would prefer to set the screen height at around 6" above the bucket instead of 11". This will have to suffice for the time being while I let my latent conscious work out a solution or one is provided by the community. Above each cage will sit a coated wire fence with grids measuring ~2"x3", as shown in the above picture. 11/5 - Uploaded short video showing Solo ScrOG Apparatus in place. What a joy this grow has been. She was a real beauty. Absolute joy to grow...strong branches but she likes to stretch a lot. I knew wat to expect. I have grown Lemon Kush outdoors 3 times. The scrog this year was the perfect solution. I will not grow her again outdoors. This was my first time to see her finish. Seeing her flower this year, she just needs the warmth in the end. The climate here rarely offers that. I must say the dense flowers are amazing also size and yield is incredible. Update about that later. Trichomes were underdeveloped. I had to harvest early because of mould. The last 3 weeks of flower the temperatures were very low 10-15 C daytime and very very wet. I believe this stunted the plants. They made a full stop in development and exploded again in the last week. 3 days of sun did more than the 2 weeks before. Weather forecast were bad so big buds were harvested 25 september. We eventually had more sun than expected and bottom half was left until 2 october. That week made sooo much difference!! Those bottom buds finally developed some nice trichomes and turned purple. Of course I wish the big buds could have enjoyed the sunshine during that last week as well. Most of you will know, being an outdoor grower...Every year is about compromises. This year was so hot during growth and cold and wet in bloom that mould was unstoppable. After all I am very pleased with this grow and cant wait to taste some of this. Probably needs al long cure though to bring back that lemon scent. Almost seems like all that the rain washed the scent right off her😪 Keep growing y'all!

Day #08 - The seedlings are going pretty well into week #02. This week FloraMicro will be added from General Hydroponics, I've started using this since my last growth. I use the hard water version and I really like it. My plants seem to do definitely better with this nutrient added, so I decided to always use this nutrient together with my other nutrients. I also decided to try the FloraGrow and FloraBloom nutrients from GHE, as I've seen very good results with the nutrient line of GHE. At the end I will also use their Ripen, which gives the plants growth boost in their buds at the end of the blooming phase. Day #09 - I decided to give the ladies a little more water, so I raised the water amount to 0.25 liters per day. Further on, everything is going very well! Day #11 - The little ladies are going ver, very well if you ask me... Growing like a charm, at the end of the week I must be able to top them without any problem. Day #14 - I wanted to top the girls, but I decided no to do that, as not all the plants have reached the right height. So topping is postponed until tomorrow.

Apr 20: They hanging out at 65% rh and 65F.. Going for 7-10 day dry… No wet trim, cut plants in half and hung… Very happy with density and resin production… Can’t wait to jar and test in 2-3 weeks… I feel comfortable with this strain, I think it’s time to move on… Really wanna run some Mephisto seeds….

Its almost time for lights out. Today they had their last watering. I think this is the best grow I had since I started 1 year ago.

These ladies are ready for flush. They are all super sticky and loaded with trichomes. I can’t wait to harvest and turn into rosin!

Water Day (half strength) - [ ] Kangaroots, Microbe Brew, Grow Big, Distilled Water, Ph-6.8, PPM-890). - [ ] Lessons Learned - Ph Up/Down from fox farms is super strong, huge upswing in 500ml distilled water with only 0.25ml of pH Up. - [ ] I think I need to pH water before adding nutrients. Can anyone verify this please? - [ ] Will transplant to recirculating dwc soon, until then probably watering every 3-5 days with current nutrient mix. Can’t wait to get it under better lights! - [ ] Most likely going to mainline if it all works out ok. 6/10/19, DAY 26, UPDATE: Water day due to transplant Decided to change plans a bit. Transferred to big fabric pot and fox farms ocean forest soil. Will grow plant out and cut clones. Will then put clones immediately into DWC setup. This mother plant will then be moved outdoors to flower. Hopefully it all pays off! Day 29 6/14/19 Decided to clear all fan leaves that had less than five fingers then top at the 4th node and LST the remaining fan leaves. The goal is to eventually cut two clones off of the the 3rd node and mainline everything else starting at the 4th node. At least 8 colas is the goal, ideally 16. We’ll see tho, Very surprised at how quickly the leaves pointed back up toward the light and recovered from the lollipopping/topping/LST. Any and all suggestions are welcome! Lofty goals for my first grow ever, hopefully it all works out.

Week 8 for Kalini Asia by Zamnesia Seeds This was a hard one to top again 😭 She was so pretty with 8 tops perfectly symmetrical but she needed to be topped again for 16 tops... Shes very ugly right now but lets see in a weeks time how symmetrical she stays. Since having the funky light schedule their growth has slowed down a fair amount. But can still see a some slight growth over the last week, they got their first proper watering 2 days ago so should make a difference for this upcoming week.
