Just notice that one of the fan leaves that I put a small LST clip on has snapped off. Thinking that I may be better off sticking to the large clips removed a few of the LST clips and tied down branches with garden wire. I think this may be the better solution. Accidentally used 1 tsp for Bloom instead of 1/2 tsp. 5ml should be fine for a large plant, hopefully no nute burn as a result. So far she seems to be loving the extra nutes. Plants appear to have loved the 5ml of Bloom. No signs of burn this morning. Did some defoliation today to try and remove large leaves that were blocking light to bud sites

3rd week they getting fatter

The week starts Monday Jan-27, being day 27 of flowering. Plants are looking very good and healthy, albeit some bigger buds at this stage is missing. Carried out more minor defoliation, only trimming fan leaves on one side of a bud site in alternate fashion. Strategy is to expose more bud sites to light. Leaves are getting sticky and glistening brightly. The canopy has a few branches stretching out typical of Sativa genetics. Hoping the bud sites grow bigger soon filling up the space. Feeding a high EC nutrient mix whilst monitoring run-off EC which remains below feed EC. Light is maintained at 30cm above the canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering just under 3L per day. Bud sites are beginning to take form and the ScrOG setup looks full, ready for the development of some large buds. Removed a few more leaves from above the canopy which were blocking bud sites below. Also cut small stems (with bud sites) below the canopy from both plants which were unlikely to grow strong. It's now looking clearer below the canopy. The canopy is still thick with beautiful luscious green leaves typical of an Indica. Run-off EC has been slowly rising over the weeks but still under the feed EC - will be keeping my eyes on this. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. Maintaining an average RH in the space at 50%. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-13 in flowering stage. The plant is growing thick and fast, with very short node intervals creating a thick canopy. Carried out substantial defoliation of almost all the big fan leaves and a few little stems that were not likely to make it above the canopy. Avoided defoliating the major cola branches. This encourages the plant not to waste resources on a node which is only going to produce “popcorn” buds. The plants reacted well to the defoliation and were looking good by the end of the light cycle for the day. The net is completely full and this will be the last week of applying any LST as part of the ScrOG setup. Light is maintained at 30cm distance from canopy, with daily fertigation at lights on - watering almost 2.5L per day. Lowered the average RH in the space to 50%. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The week starts Monday, Jan-06 in flowering stage. The net is filling up nicely with the ScrOG process being enjoyable - just tucking branches nicely under squares once stretched enough. The Indica dominant strain is really shining with incredible dense growth and thick branches that don't bend as easily as it's Sativa neighbour. Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment... After defoliation everything runs calm and fats up ;) Now i even hate that girl with leafs. Other girls i can put a lot tighter and under more intence light ... Her lower buds look like air and her leafs are in the way of everybody ;))) we shall see final weight... Think thats the last week of feed. Only ph water after for couple more ... Smells realy fantastic !! P.s. its just hard not to show that other fathers 9th sister ;))) Choco Lopez Auto - my new love ;) P.s.2 some night shots. Stoped CalMag already. I see some milky , so its time to plan flush soon. P.s. 3 have two dominant girls. Both will be fun to weight. Gave all girls first breeze of autumn. During one night only 15 cel. everything looks stable :) the mistake was made when choosing this pot, it is too small for her :( there is no room for the roots so it grows quite slowly, but everything is fine - I learn from my mistakes :) this week I did a lot of pruning of leaves and branches, which the girl responded well to , without much stress, I'm going on vacation soon - I'll leave the girl alone for a week - of course someone will come to water her :) so before I leave I'll give her at least 1000ppm water, and the next 2 waterings will only be pure water 25ppm :) I hope everything will be fine :) good luck everyone :).

Last vegetating week, I'll flip tomorrow on the 14th. I got an auto drying in the tent which is the only place where I can do it, so she's now waiting for let's hope less than 3 days in my bathroom. I fixed the light to the ceiling and to the walls in the same set-up as in the tent. With one less plant in the tent, I was also able to expand the stems to the sides to let more light in the center. Week breakdown: 2021-03-07: Nothing to read. 2021-03-08: Nothing to read. 2021-03-09: I could finally identify one male plant and removed it from the tent. Plus the other auto plant in the tent is almost done. I will do the switch at the end of this week. 2021-03-10: Nothing to read. 2021-03-11: Nothing to read. 2021-03-12: Last feeding before the flip, still with 8ml of each in 2L of water. 6.5pH 23,7C 1284ppm 2021-03-13: She's now in the bathroom waiting for her sister to dry in the tent. I reshaped the LST to expand the stems to the sides to let more light in the middle and I will flush her tonight and defoliate one last time.

Die erste Blütewoche startet. Eigentlich wollte ich vor Einleitung der Blüte alle Männchen aussortieren, aber der Plan hat sich wie so oft geändert. Zum Ende der Woche habe ich 7 Männchen aussortiert, es bleiben also 6 Weibchen. Ich habe versucht die entstandenen Lücken aufzufüllen. Es sind 3x Red Mandarine dazugekommen. Leider musste ich die Wurzelballen "anpassen" damit alles passt - mal schauen ob sie den Stress verkraften.
