WEEK14/8F // D92/50F-D98/56F Budporn-Phase1-Zielgerade In Blütewoche 8 gehen viele Blätter der Ladies #3&#4 mittlerweile sichtlich ins purple und bringen wunderschöne Farben ins Zelt. Auch Lady#1&#2 fangen langsam an rot/pinke Spitzen an den Calyxen zu bekommen. Die Ladies ohne Zusätze sind dem Ende etwas näher. Vielleicht wirklich weil nicht so viel Biomasse fertig werden muss wie bei den Ladies mit Zusätzen. Ein Stickstoffmangel konnte ich auch schnell wieder ausschließen.Bei einem Stickstoffmangel würde es zuerst die unteren Blätter betreffen. Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher das es der natürliche Fade ist und auch der natürliche Flush weil das Substrat nicht mehr viele Nährstoffe hat. Die unteren Blätter sehen alle noch Top aus. Klar werden die Blätter minimal heller als bei Lady#1&#2 die Zusätze und Booster bekommen haben, dafür das es aber "nur" Langzeitdünger einmal zu Beginn der Wachstumsphase und dann nochmal zum switch in die Blüte gab, dazu alle zwei Wochen mal den BioEnhancer zugeben, war es super entspannt und die Ladies haben sich mega entwickelt. Keine Mangelerscheinungen, nichts. Wenn man dazu eine automatische Bewässerung ins Setup nimmt könnte es nicht entspannter sein. Für jemanden der recht wenig Zeit hat und/oder viel unterwegs ist wäre das eine sehr Stressfrei Lösung. Auf gehts in die letzte Woche💪🏼 ______________________________ Düngen/Gießen: Düngermengenangabe nur für Lady 1&2 (links), Lady3&4 (rechts) bekommen nur ph-korrigiertes Wasser und alle 2 Wochen BioEnhancer. Die Menge die gegossen wird ist bei allen gleich. Not much going on yet. Added some 3d printed supports to make sure they don't start flopping over. Not sure if it's the strain, or my idiocy, but these bastards are soooo leggy. Grr. Watering daily to 15% runoff with MegaCrop 2 part in RO at 0.6EC and 5.6pH. Found Mega Crop gives very stable pH on the right range without any pH up or down needed. Took one day off (3/18) watering to water with Silica Boost at 6ml/gal concentration pHed to 5.4. PPFD 300 at canopy for DLI of 20. PPFD was about 20 for first week while I was prepping and sanitizing the grow room, which might explain the leggyness. If they don't look better after topping, I might pull them and try a different strain. 3/20 - this grow is inspired by the techniques of Bruce Bugbee (PPFD, nutrition, EC monitoring, substrate, environment, etc) and the concept of VPD control, both of which served me very well in the past. The grow room has dual PID controls in my PLC regulating the temperature and humidity to lock in the VPD based on plant age. In later veg and flower, I had CO2 injection on a PID, but that ultimately failed because I couldn't get the humidity down as it got huge. Had too many vent cycles. This year, hope to source or kludge an in-line dehumidifier so I can keep the sealed chamber where it needs to be without wasting CO2. 3/22 no more vertical growth, thank god, leaves and roots are slowly catching up. Patience. EC to 0.7

thinking about adding root stimulator. Still have not needed to water the pots. The plants love 24/0. Going to need fan and filter relatively soon...

She got flipped on day 36. Saw pistils a couple of days later. She isn't big, but she's a beauty. I think this strain would be better left to grow naturally rather than pissing around LST'ing. The response hasn't been what i expected. The proof is in the end product though so let's see😁🏻

Northern light is looking good. She has gotten acclimated, and has started making progress in the grow. I am not a expert in soil grows by any means. Keeping the wet to dry cycle right has been my biggest challenge in soil. She is looking fine, and everything is looking great so far. Nothing else to report at the moment. As week 8 started, buds are gaining size. Plant is drinking lots of water. About. 3/4 a gallon a day to day 1/2. Added a second light to setup now. Hoping to help the flowering buds with extra light. Relocated my fan to help circulate air flow around more of the taper colas. Should have a around 3 week a left til harvest. Can’t wait to see how this first grow turns out and what to learn from it overall at the end.

Mid week is day 21 of flower. I'll do one more leaf strip in the next few days and then I should be done screwing around in the tent with these ladies. I'm extremely happy with how the canopy filled out. Just a couple of weeks ago I had to cull 3 of my 8 and that left a void. The last leaf strip is done. I also removed the trellis netting. I am unsure if this was a good idea or not. As far as I figure, My canopy did fill the 5'x5' but it doesn't any more. Now that the scrog net is down everything "stood tall". The reason I removed it is so I could make sure that 1. I could strip everything that I wanted/needed to before everything turns woody and fragile. 2. get to my plants to make sure that no Male flowers surfaced. I did consider putting it back in but then I though of harvest time, what if one in the back is ready before the one in the front, that is gonna suck to pull out. So I left the net out. My hypothesis is that as the buds start to gain weight, the weight will get the branches to come down and spread out again. If the weight seems like it may break limbs, at that point I will apply the scrog net as more of a trellis net that will be easily removed. It's weird, two nights ago I was dreaming that I was in a panic looking for plant yoyo's. I was dreaming that my kolas were so huge that they were snapping. LOL Hopefully it wasn't a dream and it was more of a vision. I have still been feeding by my pH range. I still haven't had to use any pH up or down in the last 18 days. I have noticed that flower isn't as forgiving as veg cycle. I do have one strain that is showing leaf tip burn so I have decided drop my EC enough to let my pH rise a bit more quickly. In the flower cycle the plants seem to be more finicky with their uptake. If It's too strong they leaf tip burn within a couple of days so if you need to make changes you can't tip toe like in veg. You need to aggressively get back into range because the plant isn't going to wait for you. It's clock is ticking and it's going with or without you. After my recent leaf strip, my humidity has been lower than ideal so I will probably be putting a humidifier in shortly. I have been using the dimmer to dim my lights to 75% but I would rather have them at 100. I am looking forward to what the next 5 weeks bring so I hope you all stay with to see how this turns out. My husband and I defoliated again the other day, we did this to expose every bud to direct light and to remove any light damaged leaf so we can track how the new growth looks.. but despite this hiccup her buds are fattening up super fast, she looks a little beyond the 5th week of flower imo but iv'e noticed this is usually the case whenever we flower super old plants (anyone else notice this?) .. There's really not too much else to report, it's been an effortless week.. I'm so excited to see the final outcome of this plant, we may actually put in the effort of weighing buds this time lmoa.. I had a pretty good overall grow with Drunken Bitch Slap from Aeque Genetics. She grew well under the Hortibloom Solux 350. It looks like she will provide several ounces of good bud when dry. She got very big and has long saggy branches with nice frost buds on it. She smells like a black licorice, and gas smell. I am very curious to how she smokes. Dutch Passion Seeds Critical Orange Punch Auto Day 31 from Germination 10th March 2020 She's really put on some leaf and branch growth over this past week and is still not quite at the flowering stage yet. But I feel she will be throwing out pistils and starting to stretch by next weeks update, well I hope so anyway 😄 Still giving her light supplemental feeds of Professors Nutrients Grow fast and Seaweed solution, both of which seem to be keeping her healthy and vigorous. Yesterday and Today I have had her out of the tent and out under the natural sunshine and Fresh air. I will continue to do it each day as long as the weather stays fine as I think the use of LEDs and Sunshine each day certainly coudn't hurt . Checked soil temp and Ph this morning it was 22c and 6.5 so everythings on point and no issues i can see Thats about it for the C.O.P Auto update for this week Thanks for stopping by 👍
