On to another week. She seems happy and the sip container is keeping her watered in her amended soil bed. We're getting to the fun time period for autoflowers so I expect to see a ton of growth in the coming couple weeks!

Chopped 04/09/26Purple Lemonade definitely surprised me in many ways. She unexpectedly showed very strong sativa traits after a very short and stocky indica veg period. She was the only plant in the grow to suffer major issues (pH dropped to 5 in runoff a few weeks ago) which was a little frustrating. I was going to give a lower rating, but the more I look back on it, the more I realize that if I was more consistent in how I am monitoring my plants, her issues could have been entirely prevented. Really my biggest issue is just her growth pattern and overall structure. LST in veg was virtually impossible, then when she started her stretch she was growing an inch per day! Very difficult to manage, and I agree with other opinions that she is nitrogen sensitive. Be very careful to not overdo it on nutes and she will reward you for the work. Her aroma is nowhere near as powerful as LCCs, but now that they are apart I am finally able to pick up some of her nuiance. Very similar in scent to LCC, but she has retained more of the sweet side of the aroma since the chop. I'll be very curious to compare the smoke between the 2. Anyways, thanks for checking this out, I'll have everything uploaded when it's ready in the next week or 2. Happy growing 🌱 04/15/26 - got her all chopped, trimmed and dried. Her total smokeable bud weight came out to 32g. While I'm happy overall, it's a shame because she easily could have yielded 2+ ounces. I threw close to half of her in the trim because the smaller buds were loose, airy, and full of leaves. Wouldn't have been worth the 6 hours of trimming for a few more subpar buds. The rest of her is alright, still nowhere near as dense as I would like, but that's likely my fault and not the genetics of the strain. Will update again one last time in a week with the smoke report.

As you can see this baby decided to top herself, we were a little worried that she wouldn’t choose life but she had the will and has survived! The lower branches have taken over and she will provide us with her love. The ones that fight the hardest always seem to be special and we are very excited to see what secrets she has to share with us! I myself, am in love!

The plan for 2024 was to have some autos for a mid season harvest and then more room for the regular plants on the balcony. Unfortunately all three Daiquiri Lime turned out like Photos. The third one in my friends garden (in the ground) also finished end Oktober.

This week, we introduced a SCROG (Screen of Green) net, an essential tool for maximizing yield and optimizing plant structure. Let’s dive deep into the why and how of scrogging: Why Install a SCROG Net Now? Maximizes Light Exposure: The net allows even light distribution across all branches, ensuring every bud site gets the optimal amount of light. Controls Plant Height: By guiding the branches through the net, we keep the canopy even and prevent excessive vertical growth. Enhances Airflow & Reduces Mold Risks: Spreading the plant out increases air circulation, reducing humidity pockets and minimizing risks of mold and pests. Increases Yield: More bud sites exposed to light mean higher-quality flowers and greater overall production. For now, we’re still not using the under-canopy lights, though they will come into play soon. The ICL 300 is positioned strategically, and we will likely move them around as needed later. For now, the focus is on structuring the plants and ensuring they fill out the available space properly. Optimizing Airflow - The Vortex Effect Air circulation is crucial for plant health, and this week, we’ve optimized airflow by positioning the fans to create a vortex effect: Fan Positioning: Each fan is placed at the tent corners, pointing in different directions, ensuring dynamic airflow instead of direct wind hitting the plants. Benefits of a Vortex System: Reduces hot spots and evenly distributes CO₂. Strengthens stems by creating a natural resistance. Prevents stagnant air, reducing mold and pest risks. The extraction system is powered by an AeroFan, connected to the AeroFan Smart Remote FRC1, currently running at 60% speed. This setup efficiently manages humidity and temperature while maintaining optimal air exchange. Current Environmental Conditions & Feeding For now, we’re maintaining the same water schedule and nutrient regimen. The environmental conditions remain stable: Temperature: Holding steady at ideal growth levels. Relative Humidity: Balanced to encourage healthy transpiration. PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density): Kept at optimal levels to support vigorous vegetative growth. CO₂ Levels: Elevated but within safe limits, promoting faster growth. The plants are filling the space beautifully, but we know that the flip to flower is approaching soon! 1 plant was very ripe, 1 plant was almost perfect to harvest and the 3rd could take another 1-2 weeks...but it was end of 10th week of flower and i had to go on vacation, so i perhaps choped 1 plant abit too early....still awesome result!

Ok so it’s been along time since my last update as life has been busy for me.I have moved these 3 ladies outside sometime the end of June or early July and they have thrived.Ive topped them a few times after the initial topping and have added 3 scrog nets to keep the colas spread open over time and keep em below my fence top :).Some really nice colas and smells amazing I just know my neighbor is jealous 😆 kidding we smoke and bs together often.Ive been feeding them twice a week 4ml per gallon of advance nutrient line and they love it.Ive noticed they are starting to really thicken up this past week as its sept 19th today.I have some rain coming next week but it’s been a drought in Ohio so no worries about bud rot or mold until now.Im debating on adding a roof structure this weekend before the rain hits.What are opinions on polycarbonate roof top ??
