Hello Growmies! We've reached the remarkable week 16 with our tenacious plant, and the developments are simply astounding. Following a week of dedicated flushing, the plant continues to mature gracefully, showcasing an unwavering commitment to quality as she ripens. I'll maintain the reverse osmosis (RO) water regimen until she ceases sprouting fresh white pistils, a testament to her ongoing development. It's a delicate balancing act, providing enough support for her increasingly heavy branches burdened by significant gains, yet the plant's structural integrity remains a priority. Visually, the transformation is captivating; she's commencing a magnificent fade, with the unaffected foliage adopting a rich, deep purple hue, bordering on an almost blackish tone – a stunning display of her natural lifecycle. This chromatic shift isn't just aesthetically pleasing; it's a clear sign of the plant's life cycle progressing towards its grand finale. The chlorosis-free leaves, once vibrant and full of life, are now taking on this regal, somber palette, indicating that maturity isn't far off. Moreover, the trichome-laden buds are a sight to behold, their calyxes continue to swell, and the once slender branches now require additional support to sustain their own weight. It's evident the rigorous cultivation efforts are paying off – the plant's resilience and your attentiveness have aligned perfectly, resulting in an abundance of almost golfball-sized nuggets that shimmer with resin. Every plant tells a story, and this one is about to reach its crescendo – the careful nurturing, the attentive adjustments to the feeding schedule, and the delicate handling of her structure have all contributed to this moment. Strain: Hillbilly Wedding Genetics: F- (Raspberry Moonshine) [Raspberry Kush x Old Time Moonshine] x M- (Wedding Cake x More Cowbell) [Girl Scout Cookies Forum Cut x (88G-13 x HP)] that old time moonshine.... I believe is a Dj Short creation. When I first started floating the idea to start growing the first thing that came to mind was find my favorite strain. BLUEBERRY! THAT DJ SHORT BLUE BERRY... Dj had just rereleased the OTM line.. I did not grab those beans but I am glad Ziplock got to it! I was graced with blueberry moonshine back in 07. 🤤 First time growing a strain with Girl Scout Cookies and a second chance with the 88G13 & HP Soaked for 36hrs had a glass with a lid(seems to be working for me) heatmat on top of drawer seeds are in set to 80 11/12 cracked open before planting{very abnormal for me}

Was a lovely plant from start to finish. Very manageable and very much an Indica through and through. I'd probably defoliate and lollipop a little more if i was to grow this strain again.

Well she is making some really cool alien looking buds. Smell is now getting stronger. The buds are swelling the pictures dont really do it justice. I think this will be a good yield in the 2x2 tent. Probably about 2-3 weeks left. No issues so far, had to give an extra feed of the bio amendments. Cant weight to weight this in!

This is the 8th week. Thursday will be 9 weeks of 12/12. Some trichs are amber. They just added a good bunch of girth over the past few days, but most of the pistils are red now. The rest of them have been dropping leaves consistenly but the canopy remains full so they must be putting out more leaves. I just flushed to 80% runoff and found out that I had 1200ppm. I just got an ec meter but my last reading said closer to 600 so idk what happened there. I flushed until I had runoff ppm of about 150. Now they're back in the grow tent. I don't want to keep assaulting them with my microscope. I think they're ready. Just gonna let them settle another day or two to dry out a bit. I took one small branch off the small Wedding Cake plant on Thursday and I've just been watching it dry on my counter. It's been 5 days and the stem snaps but still leaves a fiber connecting. I put it into a small jar with a 64RH thing. I just want to try it. It already smells amazing. The leaves on the big CBD Blue Shark plant are going really yellow and some other colours are starting to come out as well. The buds all fattened up and got more frosty again. I was worried they were foxtailing but they got more calyxes underneath the peaks and have been making more of a pyramid shape. They're really close to peak. Harvest day will be March 17 or 18. March 17 1023pm chopped and hung after lights off all day. RH was 65% before I chopped and 50% after I closed the window and cut the plants off the saturated pots. I did a wet trim to prevent mold. The buds are sticky af. Gonna hang them to dry for 7-9 days before curing in jars :) March 18 : checked the RH when I woke up and it's chilling at 45% 😎 March 19 : just checked to see how they were drying. There are seeds in every plant. RIP I'll update when I put them in jars and again a few weeks later for final review. Overall it was a good grow despite the rocky start and a good introduction to the mainline technique and my new grow space. Next grow I should have everything pretty well dialed in. March 23 They were hanging for 3 days. Rh was around 45, then spiked to 65 overnight when I forgot to turn the fans back on. Temp was high at around 26.they felt wet after 2 days, and bone dry after 4 days. The stems still didn't snap but I put them in jars anyway. A day later, jar RH was 50%. I burped all the jars and there was a smell from the new jars. I took all the weed out, washed out the jars, and did a dry trim on the weed. One of the Wedding Cake plants must have gone hermie. I didn't see any bananas and didn't even realize there were seeds until the very end. The seed pods looked just like calyxes while the plants were growing. Many of the nugs are unusable. Under the sugar leaves are just layers and layers of seeds. Some weren't hit that badly. The CBD Blue Shark is much better off but still has some seeds. I'm trying to stay positive. It's a bit of a shock though. I'm anxious to try the finished product. If the flowers at least taste good and have a good effect, all is not lost.

Finally my weather is getting better! 🙌 and good day everyone! Both of my girls are maturing properly and I'm glad it wasn't extremely hot inside the tent, it'll help my babies to not stress too much. I also increased the amount of Silver PK 14/15 by another 0.5ml and the plants took it well! 😍 The plants (mostly Pistachio) is getting more yellow leaves (I'm constantly removing them) and that means my babies are getting close! 😃 So now I'm double checking the trichomes/pistils in my girls and thanks to that I can say the flowers in Pistachio are more developed than the ones in Matcha and I suppose that's because the lights are way too far from Matcha but I can try to fix that in the future. Fungus gnats are about the same, bad... Gave each plant another dose of the ScanMask nematodes from BioLogic. I covered them with some more Roots Organics soil to protect them from the light.

24/07: Diese Woche starten wir ganz entspannt. Das Training ist vorbei, in der letzten Woche wurden noch ein paar Blätter entfernt, aber nichts wildes. Es kommen nach wie vor 1-2x in der Woche eine Ladung Eiswürfel auf den Mulch, um die Lila Buds zu fördern. Viele der Trichome sind weiss, einige noch klar und noch keine Bernsteinfarbend.

Hemp papers, normal, clipper signed royal queen seed, a magazine I can't wait to read, nutrients, stickers, a complete catalog with the new genetics, a Zamnesia booklet, 5 seeds Honey Cream fast flowering, a door joint (which I have photographed several times, I already love it, my walking joint will no longer suffer from the long walks in my pocket waiting to be consumed), grinder, fabric vase that I really like at the sight, and the starter kit for germination. Due to the current lack of space to germinate, I dipped 2 seeds in water, (I started with one but it seemed to suffer from loneliness: D). I can't wait for them to start growing, I'm very excited to be able to participate in a contest.
