Sep 7: what a great plant. Totally love how it’s going. Flowers keep getting fatter and heavier and she’ll be done before the end of September. Sep 8: there a tree root sticking up a bit in my yard which means the plant can be tilted toward the late afternoon sun. This is helpful because the sun is getting really low to the horizon already and we’re down to 13 h of daylight. Plus now direct sun is done in my yard by about 6 pm. Indirect light is okay but you really want direct sun at all times. Videos shows use of 730 nm far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds is all it takes to set the plant into dark mode two hours faster. It’s a bloom booster because you get two bonus hours of darkness or a 26 h day. Very effective but don’t miss a night and you have to adjust the timing each night. When starting this on July 20 Civil Twilight, as listed on timeanddate.com for my location, was at 9:45 and today it was at 8:40 pm. The red light at dusk is a highly recommended trick if you have daily access to your outdoor plants. Also works indoors, of course, and on autos too. Also I think it helps ‘stabilize’ the plant by emphatically putting it into dark mode, and therefore less susceptible to stray light to cause a hermie. Have not had hermie problems in four seasons of using the red light so that is my only ‘proof’ but it is true so far, even with taking flash pics before using the red light. Sep 9: getting heavier and now more branches are weighed down and slumping against the scrog net. Nice problem to have, I know, and without the scrog net some of the branches would be breaking off now. She’s now officially too big and too top heavy to keep moving around the yard in pursuit of direct sun. Sun is much lower to horizon now and direct sun hours are dropping too. Sep 10: getting close to done and getting very top heavy. Awesome. Sep 12: raining today. Has been cool last few nights and some purple colour is just starting to show. I don’t want to overdo fertilizer near the end, but I decided she is showing K deficiency. I’m out of malted barley but I still have potassium silicate, so I used that and some cal-mag. I’m avoiding kelp and molasses or using more P at this late stage because that can make the dried bud hard to burn and that really sucks. So, potassium silicate and cal-mag it is. The potassium silicate raises the pH and it takes about the same volume of vinegar to get the pH down. A good does of acetate is likely good for the bugs in the soil too. Then a squirt of Dr Bronners soap as a surfactant and that also supplies some biodegradable carbon for the bugs in the soil. Seems to work overall and is cheap. Day 15. Girls are flying !!! Think on day 18 i will do heavy defoliation, maybe Middle girl will have to be treated differently, she is a bit behind by flower development. Still see one or two bugs, but today i should get ladybugs from friends shed, they always nest there, but you never know .... Worst case - this wednesday i will get 200 LadyBug larvas, they should do a deal !!! Plus, new adventure on horizon .... FastBuds send me theirs surprise package !!! I know i said never again autos indoors, but this house is just too good not to give a try ! Huge thanks !!! I really will try my best to show beauty of theirs strains !!! So Future is planed, now just finish those wonderfull Kushes !!! As you see, my anti-fim'ing worked well on Tallest Kush, other girls managed to save main cola as main, Tallest have it as well, but it shrinked to smallest size and stayed lower than main canopy. Main stretch is going to the end and after training i will lift Smallest Kush to Middle's level. Day 15. Update, got like 50 ladybugs. 10 went to this tent, others will go to big one. Still waiting for larvae postage. Day 16. Heavy training done now : defoliation, lolitoping, watering straight after.... Tallest Kush - 14 tops, amazing, cleared her really high, but it will be 3-4 ounces plant easy, i see structure already, after my version of fim'ing she made 3 tops, where center one shrink to side branch size. Very good structure - thats my target for future grows. Middle Kush - a bit delayed in flower, but very bushy. After failed attempt of anti-fim'ing all side branches had triple shoots, needed to repeat action most probably ... Anyway - she will be dofoliated in 4-5 days i think. Smallest Kush - Midget warrior ;))) She will have hardest nugs from all 3, let's see what size colas she will make, branches shortest, but fatest of all 3. Day 17. Girls are on absolute max power, looks happy as f@ck and that makes my heart sing !!! ;))) Day 20. Gave Silica acid with watering. Looks like this tent is free from thrips, girls always prays and drink quick, so its all good in the neighbourhood ;))) Happy Growing !!!

Things seem to be going well so far. I've been regularly watering the plant with fertilizers for the past week. However, some of the leaves turned yellow and fell off, so I pruned a few more to improve air circulation and lighting for the lower flowers.

Lots of work this week on keeping up on training this week, buts it’s going well! I split a fork when tying her down but the duct tape fix worked great and she didn’t exhibit any stress from it surprisingly :) Each day I tighten the bindings and then defoliate about every other or 3rd day. I keep doing 2 feeds to 1 yucca flush. She now uses 3 gallons to get my saturation and 20% runoff, about every 3 days. When I yucca flush I also foliar feed her to keep things flowing, roughly 1/8-1/4 strength of my food dosage. Foliar feed mix is yucca, kelp, fulvic acid, 1-0-0 Calmag+, and a 14-0-0 ominA. And I fed that every day for 3 days until I watered her again :) Interestingly, 3 days in a row just barely began to give her N toxicity by causing a slight clawing of the mature fan leaves, but no burn in the tip, and day 4 she was flat out again :) so it was right at the edge of useable nutrients IMO. The netting is coming along nicely, lots of weaving going on, refilling the center and spreading the mains out to the corners of the tent. Tried 2 different cloning techniques, one placing them into the peat pellets from Walmart with rooting powder, and the other is a Tupperware container filled with a PH’d weak nutrient solution, and sticking the stalks through the lid into the water. Both techniques have produced roots, peat took longer but are stronger specimens. Tupperware seemed to shock them less but roots are tiny little nodules. This week is to prepare the plants for flower Aiming for a .95VPD Began brewing Tricantonol, liquid Karma, Calmag and Southern Ag Microbes for a Tea later this week The video shows the training structure. Day 37 Gave the tric brew to the plants. Plants responded well. Also did a final Lollipopping before flower Day 39 Watered with no Macro Nutes. Taking one quart of water every 2 days
