It's early October, and the weather is getting worse. I hope it holds out for another one to two weeks because it's currently raining more frequently. The buds smell sweet and are slowly turning frosty.

It's been a busy week : 👉 I defoliated the plant by removing 8- 10 very big fan leaves, to allow more sunlight to reach the lower branches 👉 I took 2 cutting of my plant(s) 👉 I removed the six lowest branches and used the cuttings to make cuttings. 👉 I started the light deprivation technique by moving the plants to my darkroom to force flowering. 👉👉👉👉Every morning at 8:30 am I move the plants in the greenhouse. 👉👉👉👉Every evening at 8:30 pm I move the plants inside the darkroom. 👉 Once a week I give the plants a liquid booster with OPF 4:2:8 ; Fulvic 25 ; Yuccah ; Biovin liquid ; Earthworm compost extract. Starting to see bud formation this week the temperature outside is really high creating good light out temperature around 18c and plants thriving from it been waterd more than usual

Hello Canna Fam, So the end of week 8 has arrived and the ladies have started to bud up😎 I did a bit of defoliation last night to the Six Shooter and the Girl Scout Cookies as they were very bushy. Hopefully I wasn’t too heavy handed with the plucking and the growth does not slow down too much. The LSD-25 and the Gorilla Cookies are the most developed in terms of bud size and trichomes production but the Girl Scout Cookies is closing in nicely. I hope you all enjoy the progress pics and happy growing✌️🏼

My girls are growing wonderfully. Pineapple and Cheese are getting bigger and bigger, and you can start to smell them. Bubblegum has taken its time, but it too is full of resin and will probably be the last of the harvest. I decided to start giving Overdrive to the Skunk to try to add consistency to the flowers, which are still very sparse, and it already seems to be working. This is my first run with Advanced Nutrients and I'm pleasantly surprised!

Day 113: Decided to add one gallon pH6.5 water with nutrients. This should be the last feed. Day 114: tent hotter than I would like. Exhaust fan full speed. Cleaned up more leaves. Hopefully can make two more weeks but I am a little concerned. Day 115: gave one gallon pH6.5 water with 2 tablespoons of Herculean Harvest. Removed a few leaves. The urge to defoliate is huge. Day 116: removed some more leaves. May harvest this weekend instead of the next. Day 117: no water added. Removed a lot of dried up leaves. I would be worried if it weren't for other ak47 journals showing the same yellowing leaves toward harvest time. Day 118: no pictures Day 119: added one gallon pH6.5 water with 2 tablespoons Herculean Harvest. So want to harvest but will wait 4-7 days.

Jetzt entwickelt sie langsam ihr volles Profil. Der Wuchs ist richtig schön anzuschauen und erinnert mich ein wenig an die Pink Sunset von Silent Seeds. Nur die Einfärbung ist nicht so stark und bleibt eher im grünen Bereich 😄 Noch zwei Wochen bis zur Ernte. 💚🍭🍇

February, 14th. San Fernando Valley Plants are vigor Growers Next Week on Tuesday they are 14 Days old, and already working on Leafset #5💪 They will get a transplant next week too I topped them 2 Days ago, and in the coming Days I go on with topping and perform some LST Atm They just get Water with beneficals, and Iam spraying them with " Fast Plants Spray" It seems they like their Envoirement.

03/01 Wow, I’m honestly blown away by how this grow is progressing! In the last 24 hours alone, they’ve guzzled an incredible 45 liters of water. 😲 I mean, seriously, that’s insane! The stretch is probably just about wrapping up, so I’m keeping busy tying them down for now. Once the stretch is over, I’ll be going in for some selective pruning—there are just so many new shoots popping up. I’ve got to say, I’ve never seen growth like this before. It’s exhausting, though, and I’ve already run out of zip ties again! 😂 So, tomorrow’s mission: stock up on more. I’ve noticed a few slightly discolored leaf tips here and there, but it’s really minimal. That’s exactly what I’m aiming for—pushing them right to the edge without overfeeding. 🎯 Also, I just realized it’s been over a week since I added any CO2. Maybe that’s why I’m seeing these tiny signs? 🤔 Something to experiment with moving forward. Honestly, I’m so curious to see where this grow takes me—there’s so much potential in these plants! Stay tuned, folks. 🌿💪 06/01: Last night, I started defoliating, and I really went at it with a ruthless approach. I didn’t worry about branches snapping while scrogging—my philosophy is simple: the strongest will survive, and the weakest will wither away. Survival of the fittest in action! I also noticed that one plant seems to be either too wet or too dry. I’ll need to keep an eye on this one because there’s quite a bit of dying foliage at the bottom. My gut tells me it’s slightly overwatered, although that shouldn’t really be an issue with coco. Still, better safe than sorry! 🌱💪

Diary Update: Week 3 – Substrate Management & Climate Tuning Starting tomorrow, I am bumping the light intensity up significantly, targeting a DLI of 38.88 to push vegetative growth to the max. To support this high light energy, I am using the Plagron Terra mineral line (Terra Grow, Power Roots, Pure Zym, and Sugar Royal). Because my substrate EC is currently under 0.2, raising the nutrient levels is urgent; otherwise, the plants won't be able to keep up with this high DLI. I will gradually increase the Terra Grow and additives this week to hit that target substrate EC of 1.0. I'll closely monitor the two slower-growing plants to ensure they don't get stressed by the intense light while their root systems catch up. Day 18 - In the previous days i had the soil probe on the top of the pot to see how the water levels/ec would do. But it seems that the ladies are quite demanding and i will up the EC to 1.5 at this stage. Today i shall move the soil probe to a horizontal positon halfway in the pot and give each pot about a liter of water (see when the soil probe goes up to around 30%)

The increased CO2 allows plants to thrive at higher temperatures, which in turn necessitates higher humidity to maintain the ideal VPD for healthy growth and transpiration. 80F -5F = 75F LST with 70% RH = 0.72 kPa. Higher temperatures and humidity promote rapid growth, nutrient uptake, and photosynthesis while maintaining a lower stress level. Temperature influences the rate of enzymatic reactions involved in aerobic respiration. Enzymes, such as those involved in glycolysis, the Krebs cycle, and the electron transport chain, work most efficiently at an optimal temperature range. In low temperatures, enzymatic activity will slow down, thus reducing the rate of aerobic respiration. In high temperatures, enzymes can become denatured, thus impairing their function and stopping the process of aerobic respiration. Glucose is the primary fuel for aerobic respiration. The rate of aerobic respiration increases with the availability of glucose, as it is the starting point for glycolysis. If glucose levels are low, cells may rely on alternative energy sources such as fatty acids or amino acids , but these processes may yield less ATP or be less efficient. To determine this effect, carbon dioxide volume was measured (as carbon dioxide is an output of aerobic respiration) 18/6 with the 6 being IR. The near infrared (IR-a) borders around 700nm up to 1400nm @ photon par flux density of 1.8 instead of darkness, keeping temps overnight a neat 77F-80F. I think of my tent as a lung. What goes in must come out. When the rate of air going out exceeds the amount of air coming in, it creates a negative pressure. Tent concaves (bends in). If set up correctly, the RH will begin to drop slowly to the desired level I set, and the extraction turns off when it reaches the desired RH. The plant, as it performs cellular respiration, will always release more water into the air; therefore, the RH% of the tent overnight will increase, as long as oxidative phosphorylation is occurring. As soon as the RH% creeps back up to 55%, the extraction turns back on, over and over. This creates a strong pressure differential, which will work wonders with mass flow. Replicating high and low-pressure fronts in nature. Critical for oxygen diffusion at the critical time of peak cellular respiratory function.. Moisture will not transfer from a saturated atmosphere to another if that air is already at or above its saturation point, meaning the air can't hold any more water vapor. Once I understood that water is produced as a by product during cellular respiration, specifically at the very end of the electron transport chain (ETC) where electrons are finally transferred to molecular oxygen, the higher the RH of the air, the more resistance there is for more moisture to be added to that environment, and effects the ease with which it does so. But none of that water comes from the pot; it's pulled from the air. If you run high daytime RH, your medium/pot is 100% reliant on transpirational root pull to move water. ZERO evaporation happens across the atmosphere if the tent air has high RH%, the medium cannot release its water through evaporation. Once a canopy develops, light no longer slowly wicks and evaporates from the topsoil. The Soil-Plant-Atmosphere Continuum (SPAC) describes the continuous pathway and process of water movement, driven by a gradient in water potential, from the soil, through the plant's roots, stem, and leaves, and finally evaporating into the atmosphere through transpiration. There is evaporation, there is transpiration, and then there is evapotranspiration; Evapotranspiration (ET) is the combined total of two processes: evaporation (water lost directly from soil and surface water into the atmosphere) and transpiration (water released from plants to the atmosphere through their leaves). Evapotranspiration represents the total amount of water that moves from the medium into the air. There is no such thing as a medium with too much water, only a medium that retains too much for too long. The water must always flow efficiently from one atmosphere(Medium) to another(Air) in a timely manner. Moisture is a critical factor for bacterial growth and decay. Dictating how long it's allowed to sit in any one location for any given period is a key preferred control. To ensure a net reduction in a bacterial population, the rate of removal (ET) must exceed the rate of bacterial growth (decay rate), which is often modeled as a growth rate for the specific bacterium under the given conditions. By optimizing daytime VPD, we also optimize conditions for bacterial growth to explode exponentially above 77°F.. If water is allowed to sit in a medium without an escape within a timeframe, nothing good will happen. IF High RH is maintained overnight as well as during the day, placing 100% of water movement at the behest of daytime transpiration, roots can only pull where they can reach, and if soil is compressed above a certain point, moisture will become trapped in a medium with no way of moving day or night. This will begin the countdown for decay to take hold. When water stagnates in a medium, it loses oxygen, creating anaerobic conditions that foster the growth of harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi, which can produce toxins and disease vectors. Thigmomorphogenesis, the process by which plants respond to mechanical stimuli like touch by altering their growth and development, results in significant morphological changes to improve survival against mechanical perturbations. This complex response involves sensing touch and initiating physiological and genetic responses, leading to changes in form and structure over days or weeks. The process is triggered by physical forces such as wind, rain, or touch. Plants adapt to these stimuli by changing their shape and structure, which may include slower growth, thickened stems, or altered leaf development. Plants possess sophisticated mechanisms to detect even subtle mechanical stimuli and initiate responses. A variety of molecules, including calcium ions, jasmonates, ethylene, and nitric oxide, are involved in signaling these mechanical inputs. Touch can induce the expression of genes that encode proteins for calcium sensing, cell wall modification, and defense mechanisms. A plant exposed to constant wind may become shorter and sturdier. A plant that is touched frequently might grow more slowly to conserve energy and develop thicker cell walls. These changes increase a plant's resilience and ability to survive in harsh environments. Vamos familia, actualizamos la tercera semana de floración de estas Terp & Tonic de Seedstockers. La temperatura que estuvo entre los 24-26 grados y humedad dentro de los rangos correctos. En cuanto a las plantas las veo verde sano, estiraron bien y ensancharon bastante también. Se nota que los nutrientes de la marca Agrobeta hacen sus funciones. Week 3 I've been feeding the plants some extra CalMag because the Auto Night Queen appears to have a deficiency. And I started with LST. Day 21 I accidently partially snapped the main shoot of the OGK while bending it for LST. I immediately provided emergency first aid by putting small pieces of duct tape around the spliced area. If sufficient area is still connected it might heal. I'm also spraying it multiple times with a solution of Biotabs Boom Boom spray and Canna Rhizotonic. 🙏
