D60. I'm back again after being out of town for six days. The tent was packed when I opened it! The girls had stretched more, and a couple of leaves were even touching the lights and had gotten burnt. They are now 125 cm tall. That's five times the height they were when I flipped to flower. Five times!!! I have never had a strain stretch this much, and I hope they are done now since there's no more room in the tent. I removed the fan and carbon filer and placed them outside the tent. It looks a bit stupid and is far from stealthy, but what to do? I moved up the lights as far as possible, but I will probably switch the lights with the one I have in my autotent. That light has a much lower profile, so raising it even further is possible. Should that not be enough, I will have to cut off some tops, but I hope it doesn't come to that. The first girl already has dark purple flowers, while the second looks more green with some purple. ------------------------------ D61. I opened the tent today, only to find that the second girl had stretched another 2 cm overnight! This is getting ridiculous, and I hope they stop soon. I super-cropped the tallest top, hoping it would slow down the stretch. A few hours later, she had already recovered. These genetics are nuts! In other news, my girlfriend found spider mites on her papaya plants that are in the same room as my tents. We immediately removed the plants from the room, and I started to scout my plants for an infestation. The good news is that I didn't find any spider mites. However, the bad news is that I found thrips on the lower leaves of the second girl. Ugh! I had thrips last grow season, and I guess some survived. The thrips were only on the lower part of the plant, so I defoliated the girls by removing a bunch of leaves and tiny branches down low and immediately threw them out of the apartment. Thrips don't like it humid, and since the buds are still tiny, I don't need to worry about botrytis yet, so I cranked up the humidity into the high 70s to low 80s. Finally, I ordered a bunch of lacewing larvae that will get here next week. They should eat the thrips and any spider mites that I might not have been able to find. ------------------------------ D63. The girls have slowed their stretch, BUT they are still stretching somewhat. I freaked out when I opened the tent today and saw they were taller, so I attacked them immediately and super-cropped the highest tops. I will switch out the lights next week, gaining me another few centimeters, which I hope will be enough. The VPD in the tent is way off, but I'm more interested in figuring out the light and getting rid of the thrips. Finally, I watered each girl with 2.5 liters of water L pH 6.1, with 10 ml humic acid and 5 ml Fermented Fruit Juice I made a few months ago. ------------------------------

Here we are day 55 for our Wurlz F1 Hybrid. I would immediately like to say, do you notice anything by any chance? I said day 55 and we're pretty much ready. The leaves are turning yellow regularly, I have removed the fertilizers, the pistils are ripe, the resin is out, there are all the signs for a harvest which should take place towards the end of next week. The plants were born on April 6th, I repeat on April 6th for those who cannot grasp the concept. Most certainly Watermelon Candy and Wurlz will be harvested around June 6th, guys...8 weeks...not even 9 or at most nine weeks. If you're good at math, you do it otherwise I'll lend you some fingers. For topping lovers it means that if you want to do topping on autoflowering plants they won't finish in biblical times, according to my calculations even doing topping shouldn't go beyond three months, like an autoflowering from the previous generation. Why am I talking about the previous generation? Because these have certainly moved forward with speed, I have seen them grow and above all swell the flowers like I have never seen them do. As for the rest of the resin and pistils, everything is really in place. I want to do a terpene inspection soon and evaluate the ripeness for the harvest. The Wurlz also ends a little earlier than the others and is truly lightning. This girl is really doing very well, I loved the development and more by the color of the trichomes I would say that it would already be a great time for harvest, but it doesn't seem ready to me.. I will follow the schedule this is the last week with the hand well loaded with nutrients.. and in the next weeks I will slow down the pace and in the other I will do the wash.. I had never grown with mineral before, I had no idea how much salt accumulates, even using the cleanse a few times a week.. it is surreal so the wash in the last week has to be very well done.. Da ich mittlerweile eher der Meinung bin das meine Pflanzen etwas zu viel dünger bekommen haben gebe ich zur Zeit nur noch Wasser werde die auch bis zum Ende jetzt durchziehen (Spülung)........ Ach ja und diese Woche war hart die Temperaturen in der Box unten zu halten habe montag, dienstag und mittwoch in der beleuchtungs Phase das Zelt auf gehabt dadurch hatte ich 28,2 spitzen Temperatur 🌞 ziemlich hoch für die blüte Phase aber bei geschlossenem Zelt hatte ich morgens 32 Grad in der licht Phase da musste ich reagieren das problem an der nummer is das ich in einem Mehrfamilienhaus haus lebe mit 24 Parteien da gab es Dann schon auf meiner Etage komische Blicke Vor allem am Dienstag bin kurz einkaufen gegangen Zelt war offen und habe vergessen das Küchen fenster zu schließen komme wieder und mein Nachbar spricht mich an......... 😂🤣✌️ Das da ja ein sehr schöner Geruch aus meiner Küche kommt und ich sollte doch mal lieber mein Fenster schließen da er zwar kein Problem mit dem Geruch hat aber es ja noch andere Parteien im Haus gibt..... Puh😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰 mehr Glück als Verstand gehabt. Da ich aber auch den halben Tag dem Geruch von gras ausgesetzt bin nehme ich das auch nicht mehr so stark wahr wie andere.......

Harvest day 67 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 16-18 degrees and 55-59% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste. .
