Week 5 Veg Report: Croco Mutants A Quick Recap: The journey with my Terpyz Mutant Mentha de Croco girls has been a ride full of unique beauty and challenges. Here’s a quick look back at our progress: Week 1 (Germination): Using TheCannaKan, the seeds sprouted quickly in a controlled environment. They were then moved to Root Riots with nutrients from Aptus Holland, setting the stage for healthy development. Week 2: The first set of funky leaves began to emerge, showcasing the distinct and peculiar traits that make these mutants so special. Feeding started with Aptus Regulator, Startbooster, CalMag Boost, and All-in-One Liquid—a well-rounded blend to support their growth. Week 3: These funky beauties continued to amaze, displaying different leaf structures and growth patterns. The environment remained stable, and photos with my Nikon and Sony cameras captured their vibrant essence. Week 4: A dip in temperatures brought on slower growth, but the girls adapted well. Organic Aptus All-in-One Pellets were introduced into the soil mix for consistent nutrition, while bottom watering started to combat gnats. Week 5: Slow Growth, Unique Beauty This week has been all about patience, observation, and admiration. The mutants are growing at their own pace, but each plant’s unique beauty and dark green vibrance make it worth the wait. Environmental Update: Temperature: The cold has settled in further, with daytime temps at 18°C and nighttime dropping to 14°C. While slower growth is expected in these conditions, the plants are adapting and maintaining their health. Humidity: RH remains stable at 65%, providing just enough moisture to support their development without creating excess stress. Feeding & Watering: The same Aptus Holland nutrient solution is being used this week: Regulator (0.15 ml/L): Strengthens cell walls, helping the plants adapt to colder conditions and maintain their vigor. CalMag Boost (0.25 ml/L): Supplies essential calcium and magnesium for strong, healthy foliage. Startbooster (0.25 ml/L): Encourages root development and early-stage robustness. All-in-One Pellets : A complete nutrient solution providing the base nutrition these girls need already in the soil. Additionally, I’m continuing with bottom watering, where the trays are filled to let the soil absorb water passively. This has been effective in keeping gnats at bay, especially when combined with yellow sticky traps. Bottom watering also encourages the roots to grow downward, seeking moisture and building a stronger foundation. Growth Observations: Each plant remains a unique masterpiece: Leaves: The diversity of shapes, sizes, and structures is remarkable. From jagged edges to rounded tips, every plant tells its own story. Color: The deep, dark green is a testament to their health and the effectiveness of the Aptus feeding regimen. Despite slower growth, they’re thriving in their own way. Cloning or Flipping to 12/12: I’ve been debating whether to: Flip to 12/12 for a week to induce pre-flowering and identify males and females, or Take clones when they’re large enough and flip the clones instead. Each approach has its benefits: Flipping the plants: Speeds up the process of sex identification but temporarily halts vegetative growth. Cloning and flipping the clones: Preserves the original plants in veg while testing the clones for sex. This method is more time-consuming but allows the mother plants to continue growing. I’m leaning toward cloning when the plants reach the right size, as it seems the most practical for maintaining momentum with these unique mutants. Photography Update: This week, I brought out my Nikon and Sony cameras again, using different lenses to capture the intricate details of the plants. From close-ups of water droplets creating reflections to stunning macros of leaf textures, the results truly showcase their beauty. Why Use a Camera Over a Phone? Lens Flexibility: With interchangeable lenses, I can adjust for macro shots, wide angles, or depth of field, something even the best phone cameras can’t fully replicate. Detail and Clarity: DSLR and mirrorless cameras capture a higher dynamic range and more intricate details, elevating the visual storytelling. Día 15 de vegetación de Tropicanna Poison XL (Día 20 desde germinación) El crecimiento de nuestra Tropicanna Poison XL sigue con un buen ritmo. Aparecieron algunos pulgones, pero los eliminamos con Bio Pets, un pesticida orgánico nacional (Chile). También agregamos micorizas, calmag, bio grow de BAC y Nirvana de Advanced Nutrients. Actualizacion día 21 de VEGETA (Día 27 desde la germinación) El FENO 2 se a espigado considerablemente, se pone una base para que este mas cerca de la luz led Al parecer el FENO 3 es el mas estable de los 3 especimenes.

Vu que les tête étai un peut flufy sur les plant je ne m'attendais pas a ce résultat. Les tête son recouverte de trichome ses très collant au touché, les doigt reste coller ensemble . Odeur est divine , sa sent vraiment les fraise 🍓🤤🤤 et ça goûte toute autant en bouche . Un délice tout simplement au risque de me répéter . Je la recommande au la main.

Early morning day 1 we got a good rain. The girls loved it. This week has cooler night time Temps, storms, and low 90s upper 80s f day time Temps. Plants are getting into the super soil and out of the safe zone of plain organic soil. Next time I'll use a stronger mix of liquid feed for the safe zone. The plants didn't get enough nutes to grow fast. I'm still dialing in super soil/organic so there's a learning curb. I'm a little worried about topping these as I got a late start outdoors. I topped the biggest this week. The smallest got ravaged by an insect so I'll just let it grow out naturally.

I'm happy for a first time, I obviously made a lot of mistakes but above all I learned a lot 👌😎

6/24 this may be the last week. The screen recordings are of both plants (purple octane and rs11) they're both close. I also went back and did some math and the last week of veg, should've been first week of flower. I may let her go for 10 weeks. We will see how she looks throughout this week(trichs) 6/25 looking super close. All cloudy besides maybe 10% 6/29 will get in there with a microscope again. just waiting on her to ripen. can't tell if she's done, or at rhat point where she looks so good that she's done but then that last week the plant explodes. well see and yall will definitely hear about it.

Fastbuds is really starting to make me a fan of autos man there plants grow so fast and so large in such a short amount of time it’s almost unreal. I fell a little behind on the nutrients that’s why the leaves are a little light but it’s coming back around. I have not grown a lot of autos but it seems they require larger amounts of nutrients than photo plants normally do

Day 38 Of Flower Watered once in the past week Defoliated once in the past week

Week 8 and the Tart Pops girl is looking frosty and fragrant — sweet candy terps with a tangy twist filling the tent. Buds have packed on some serious weight over the past two weeks, with dense colas coated in a thick layer of sticky trichomes. The colors are starting to show hints of purple and pink under the sunlight, giving them that “dessert shelf” look. Pistils are about 70–80% turned, and trichomes are mostly cloudy with a few clear still hanging around. Feedings are being tapered down, and the plants are cruising into their final phase before the flush begins. Estimated harvest window Day 63–70 (Week 9–10) depending on trichome maturity. A few more days to let those terps peak and resin fully ripen before the chop. The Tart Pops are almost ready to live up to her name — sweet, sticky, and seriously tempting.

It smells like harvest is coming folks 😄 Stopping the nootz on most of them, except for some others late ladies with a Sativa dominance I will keep feeding lightly until they’re done ... if they finish in time 🤞 Very happy with : Gypsy Widow Herz OG Sir Jack Blue Monkey Not really happy with : Spicy Bitch, getting 3 differents phenotypes , 1 proper Sativa, and 2 others hybrid with an Indica dominance, 1 of the hybrid is a hermie and the other one is lost in the Flower opening stage since weeks without swelling... Mango Cream , getting fluffy buds all over to the top... Exotic Thai, such a nice structure, but the main bud won’t be a donkey dick bud as expected... (P.S: I’m looking for a job in the Cannabis industry as Master Grower, Mineralogist, Quality Control 🐞)
