Day 32-26/08/22 so we enter flowing stage now with these 3 Cinderella girls! I haven’t update as I have been unwell and then I was at product earth!!! Often, marijuana growers who have their plants in indoor grow tents or rooms with artificial lighting, take into account parameters such as temperature and relative humidity to maximize plants growth and bloom, thus obtaining abundant harvest with top quality flowers. As we will see later, these factors affect different processes of the plant, such as transpiration or nutrient uptake. However, we usually forget about another important factor that is related to the aforementioned ones: vapor pressure deficit or VPD. Broadly speaking, VPD is the difference between the amount of water vapor that the atmosphere is able to retain (which depends on temperature) and the amount of water vapor contained in it (relative humidity). It is usually measured in kilopascals (kPa). Providing our plants with a correct relationship between temperature and relative moisture will keep us on the right VPD parameters, increasing the plant’s activity and thus improving its growth and showing its full potential during the flowering phase. The ideal would be to adjust both parameters (temperature and humidity) to get the best possible VPD value, so that the development of plants will be amazing.In the chart above you can see the right temperature and moisture values to maximize the development of cannabis plants. The green zone shows you optimal values of VPD, in which it would be ideal to maintain the environment. The orange zone shows correct values, in which plants should not have problems to develop normally. However, red areas show values in which your plants will be very far from hit their full potential, since the relation between temperature and moisture is not optimal. With relatively high values of VPD (between 5 and 12) plants tend to open their stomata and release a considerable amount of water vapor into the environment (increasing their transpiration). This increase in transpiration results in an increase in the plant’s photosynthetic activity, which will need more nutrients and will improve its overall growth, both during growth and bloom. The best range is between 7.5 and 10.5, which we have marked in green. However, we must be careful that VPD is not too high (dark red zone) since the plant would close its stomata to avoid releasing too much water vapor to the environment, which would result in fast dehydration due to excessive transpiration. On the other hand, if VPD is too low (light red zone), the plant will also close its stomata for not releasing more water into the atmosphere, which in this case would be already saturated (it would have reached the maximum water retention capacity in a specific temperature). In this way, reducing transpiration will also reduce photosynthesis, which has a direct impact on the plant’s development and yield. That way, VPD is essential when it comes to offer the best conditions for the development of plants, also to understand its water requirements according to the nutrients used and thus adjust them correctly to meet the grower’s expectations. Definitely learning some lessons from the manifold attempt. I'd say I have to definitely train more horizontal on the original top but I'm pretty happy with how it's coming along. Looking forward to topping down to the 3rd node most likely tomorrow! With that being said, I'd imagine having the final set up could be a bit easier to train. Once I'm able to remove the second node it will open up a solid amount of space and light for the 1st node. On another note I became extremely confident in regards to feeding. Dancing around 690-700PPM's seems to be working very well right now. Consistent PH at 5.9 as well. Looking forward for the next week in regards to topping and training. The smell is strong, healthy and fast growing.

This beauty flipped to flower few weeks back and is just now picking up momentum and building hairs and tricomes. Shes about 5ft tall. She gets super fussy on hot days like in pic but she is looking and smelling great so far. Only gets better from here!!!

Began LST on the taller plants. Things are running smooth and the plants are happy! Temps were running slightly hotter than normal. But nothing these resilient plants can’t handle. 2x Stunted seedlings are showing new growth and look like they are recovering just fine - excited to see how they will turn out.

Tag 49 - Beginn der 8 Woche. Sie hat sich in der letzten Woche super entwickelt, wahrscheinlich war das Licht einfach bisschen zu nah dran. Die Blüten entwickeln sich gut und produzieren eine dicke Eisschicht. Allerdings bekommen die Blätter einen gelblichen Stich, was für mich noch etwas zu früh ist. Entweder könnte sie allgemein etwas mehr Nährstoffe gebrauchen oder es war etwas zu viel Calcium. Ich werde das die nächsten Tage beobachten und wohlmöglich den Dünger anpassen. Beschnitten oder entlaubt wurde nichts mehr. Gedüngt wurde an Tag 44 der letzten Woche. Nährstofflösung: 1 ml/l - Sensi Cal-Mag Xtra Advanced Nutrients. 1 ml/l - Big Bud Advanced Nutrients 1 ml/l - Bud Candy Advanced Nutrients. 1 ml/l - B-52 Advanced Nutrients. 2 ml/l - pH Perfect Sensi Bloom Part A. 2 ml/l - pH Perfect Sensi Bloom Part B.

Buds are hardening but not getting much bigger, 0 vertical growth. Leaf tip burn so diluted the nutrients. Funny little plant.

Noch nicht fertig... Viele Trichomköpfe sind schon milchig, aber nur sehr wenige braun und oxidiert. Teilweise sind sie eher noch halb durchsichtig. Daher darf sie wohl noch ein paar Tage leben... entlaubt ist sie schon.

Flushing begins for the Og kush and blueberry. All three plants are incredibly sticky, stanky, dense and heavy! The OG Kush plants are blowing my mind, I'm amazed at how much they have fattened up the last week. The super lemon haze starts week 7 and is also sticky and stanky, she's also starting to pack on weight and density.

Hab die Ladys entlaubt. Sie wachsen richtig schön. Habe zur Zeit etwas weniger Zeit mich zu kümmern, aber sie machen es mir auch einfach. Freue mich auf die nächsten Wochen und bin gespannt, wann die ersten Blütezeichen sichtbar werden.

This strain is certainly giving me its fair share of problems. First, it was the yellowing of leaves. Now, I'm noticing early signs of bud rot. Just a few colas are affected right now and I'm hoping it doesn't become too widespread. I've cut off affected areas and I'm hoping for the best. On the bright side, one of the plants isn't presenting with any of these problems. In fact, the buds on this plant in particular are looking quite beautiful and have just started showing off its purple tint. Being a first time grower, I expected I may run into problems. That's why I decided to hedge my bet and plant four seeds instead of just one. I suppose that insurance policy is paying off.
