Grow Diary: End of Week 4 Flowering The end of Week 4 has brought some significant developments. The scent coming from the tent is already beautiful and potent for this stage of flowering, showing a huge difference compared to the previous week. Today, I increased the light intensity back up to 75% to see how they respond. The plants were already showing signs of improvement, so I hope they handle the boost well. Midweek, temperatures dropped, and humidity levels rose, with the tent conditions hitting around 25-26ºC (77-78.8ºF) and 55-60% humidity. While not ideal, I'm working on maintaining better control. Throughout the week, I removed some of the lower leaves to improve airflow and prevent potential moisture issues. I've been watering daily with around 1 liter per plant. However, I noticed some nutrient burn on the tips of the FullGas plants. To address this, I did a reset of the rockwool with about 5 liters of water, adjusted to 2.0 EC and a pH of 6.1. The Moweeto and Lime Cheese didn’t show signs of nutrient excess, so I only adjusted their feeding on the last day to match the EC 2.0. The Blueberry Pancakes has been showing signs of manganese deficiency. I’ve done multiple resets on the rockwool, suspecting a pH imbalance might be the cause, but the plant hasn't shown any signs of improvement. I’m beginning to suspect it could be infected with Hop Latent Viroid (HLVd), which might explain the persistent issue. Overall, despite some challenges, the plants are progressing well, and I’m hopeful about their continued development as they settle into the next stage of flowering!

*Increased PPM from 800 to 850 *Week 2 of flowering tomorrow. *Out of the 4 only one looks like it’s more advance into flowering. *Did some Lolipoping.

So far so good, Plant2 is one week behind in size on Plant1 but no reason to panic. Each seed has his own growing speed. Started some LST techniques to keep the plant low and let the side branches reach their full potential. The plants are looking happy and healthy. Because it are auto’s I’m expexting them to start flowering in a week or 2 but it’s hard to tell as I usually only grow non-auto’s I’ll switch to bloom nutrition as soon as I see the first pistils appear.

~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Today I went through the plant and removed as many old dead leaves as I could reach, along with any shade leaves that were yellow. 8/31- My daily watering campaign continues with me giving the Papaya Sherbet approximately 5 gallons of well water from the garden hose. The flowers on the Papaya Sherbet are stacking more noticeably now and are beginning to get a little frosty! 9/2- There's three weeks of flower finished for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet fem photo and all I can say is... WOW! This is going to be a heavy yielder if I can successfully get her to the finish line without any issues... I guess due to the colder weather, she really starts to express her color and it's so amazing! I can't believe how beautiful this outdoor automatic is and how fast the colors are changing. As you can see from the photo, the buds are getting a bit heavy, so I tied them back in place. You might also see that one of the side branches, which broke during the storm, starts to let their leaves hanging. I moistened the point where the stem broke and see how she will do tomorrow. If it get's more dry, than I'm hanging it in the bathroom (which doesn't get used atm if you're wondering) Anyways I'll trim off the leaves with no trichomes on it and give her the very last week before harvesting on Monday.

Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. It's always exciting to see the fruits of our labor fully realized. A huge thanks to everyone who's been following along on this journey. Your interest and support mean the world. For the girl, this week is really very hot... 32°+ :( but these are her last weeks, until full maturity :) the leaves are yellowing more and more every day, until the finish she will only get pure 6.3ph water:) the flowers look fantastic:).

Everything so far so good Blue cheese on the left Sweet zz on the right, RQS recommend with the blue cheese to LST during week 3 so decided I’d just do it on the sweet ZZ aswell. Never trained a plant before think it went well tho.

Entering in week 4 from seed. Plant doing amazing after transplant. Blumats dailed in and put the girls on auto pilot. Sprayed some pure crop one earlier in the week and will come back with some neem oil for continued IpM later this week. So far so good! Having a blast sharing more content lately—I’m in the zone with editing and creating, so get ready for even more shares! 🌡️ Environmental Control and Fine-Tuning the Reservoir pH Temps this week have been holding around 27.2°C with RH at 65.2% and CO2 at 800 ppm, creating a VPD of 1.26 for ideal flower development. The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds.
