Grow Diary Update: Week 5 - Pre-Flowering and LST Evaluation Entering Pre-Flowering Stage At the end of last week, the first pistils appeared, marking the beginning of the pre-flowering stage for my plants 🙌 There's much to manage now. To support optimal stretching, I've adjusted the nutrients following 2/3 of the Terra Aquatica feeding schedule: CalMag: 2 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.45 mS/cm) Grow: 1.33 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 1.33 ml/l The nutrient solution now has an EC of 1.3 mS/cm (638 ppm PPM-500/TDS) with a pH of 6.1. These adjustments aim to promote vigorous growth and prepare the plants for flowering. Weather and Growth With significant weather improvements, my plants are thriving at full speed. Every centimeter gained now counts towards maximizing the final yield, turning around from the challenging weeks prior. Pest Management I'm fortunate not to have encountered pests like spider mites, aphids, or thrips. However, the persistent snail issue remains. Nightly patrols with a flashlight have been effective, and placing old lettuce leaves away from the plants has helped trap and remove snails, ensuring the plants remain undisturbed. LST Experiment Results The two plants I trained with LST have responded admirably, showing healthy adaptation to the bending and vigorous growth. Yet, I'm at a crossroads regarding the upcoming stretch phase: should I continue to tie down branches to maintain an even canopy or allow natural upward growth to potentially boost vertical yield? 📅 Week 4 – Day 28 BOX: 50x50 – 100W lamp 🌞 Temp: 27°C 💦 RH: 68–70% 💥 PPFD: 650 µmol/m²/s 🌬️ VPD: 1.2 kPa I switched to 12/12 today after doing a gradual flip, reducing light by 1h per day. Watering: trying not to overwater – this week they averaged about 600 ml/day. They received two feedings at EC 0.6 and 0.8. Airflow: keeping the fan strong at this stage so the stems are always working. I’ll keep this going until the first pistils show. Stay tuned – and keep growing 🌱

06/15/2020 Harvesting a good amount of pollen, not sure if you can see but it is cloudy in here. Female will be fed Happy Frog fruit and flower 9-4-3. And that will be all she gets till harvest time (seeds popping out.) Next week male should be spent, putting out clouds of pollen every day very copious amounts! And diary will continue till I harvest her seed. Just topping off reservoir with plain water for the male I have got 1.3 grams of beautiful pollen to selectively pollinate only the finest of female specimens for at least 6 months. Cookie Cake will get dusted with this bad boy. As well as Red Sky #1

Girls are looking stunning, first round with the cropsalt nothing else PH 5.8, no fluctuations, DTW. It been a slow transition to flower but this could also be due to flippin’ early, in a weeks time when I see more pistils and flower development I’ll be switching over to Bloom nutes. Temps/RH are on point 80/60 has been my range for this one.

What a fun run this was ! These Ogreberrys finished up from 81 days to 102 days with nice hints of gassy , sour purple , sweetness and glistening with frost! These ladies will cure up for a month an will be ready to test out ! So much fun , I highly recommend this strain if your looking for some oooy gooohy resiny grape smelling nugs !

105 days!!!! this week, the girl is really not doing well, it's raining a lot, there's no sun, strong wind .... completely unfavorable conditions: (the weather forecast for the next week doesn't promise anything good, I tried to put her in my mini growing box, but she didn't fit :D so I decided to leave her outside, we'll see what happens, with the auto girls, on my balcony it got quite a good result, but I don't know what will happen with her, since the sun is coming to my balcony less and less often, in September she won't be there, even in very ideal conditions, since it's a northerly wind :D good luck to everyone:).

Flattened canopy a little by bending and gently cropping stems over several days. Dropped hours of light to 16 and switched to a spectrum more suited to flowers. Will give her one more week to prepare and develop. INFINITY Dodecahedron is the only platonic solids that has infinite numerical pathways. The Aether. Saturday I switched to 12, I forgot for a second this strain is 100% Sativa, I thought she wouldn't stretch much because the PPFD was high. Never noticed such an obvious change in temperament from a plant overnight, it has been a sleepy, lazy leaf veg cycle for the most part, there are no signs of flowers yet ofc, but just the way she exploded into a more satellite disciplined formation, ITS TIME, so it begins, no turning back now....... my poor electricity bill.

its day 35 since sproud and surag black rose is looking very good. grows the fastest looks the healthiest. Also trained her with the bending clips to make the branches stronger. I collected leave mold from the surrounding woods. a lot of white fungy hopefully usefull mycoriza.

trichs are milky this time i decided to chop as milky is peak thc and not wait to start amber this way i see it buds stay green even after a few months in jars Trimming initially only - and hang down in shaded ventilated place for 10-14 days Then moving to jars wood boxes for olding process

As I’m growing autos and female regulars in the same tent I’ve had to limit the amount of light the autos are getting to 12 hours a day in order to flower the lemon haze and gelato 41. This shouldn’t have too drastic effect on the Zkittles but we’ll see how they take to it. After the first week of flower receiving 12 hours of light and we can see that they’ve all opened up during the pre-flower stage ready to flower.

Bud wet weight : 168,1g of trimmed medium to big sized buds 25,4g of tiny tiny buds/larfs = 193.5 grams of trimmed wet buds. Details on genetics and smoke report above. This, as my first grow, is way more than I ever expected it to be. I haven´t had that much fun and enthusiasm in a very very long time. I can´t even explain the feeling it is to harvest your own cannabis, but I know most of you know what I´m talking about haha. It was really nice to practice LST, even tho it was SO HARD, ´cause I didn´t had barely any space to work since I used a hard pot and did not fill nearly half the size of it and the walls of the pot were really high. It was even difficult to water without dropping water on the lower buds. I haven´t learnt much about defoliation tho, I feel I need to study a little more about the phases you should or should not do it. Also, I discovered thrips are a pain in the ass. I had 2 tough weeks dealing with thrips, but in the end it was alright. I don´t have any humidity control device, which I intend to buy for the next grows. Growdiaries was really helpful for me, it kept me motivated everyday (not that I wouldn´t have had it anyways), the Grow Questions are REALLY useful and all the community is awesome. Thanks to all people that helped me here on GD during this first grow! To conclude it: I am really happy and satisfied with how the grow turned out. They look incredible, it almost feels like I can´t believe it still. Peace. UPDATES: 07/10 : The buds are now dry and already in curing jars, one of them with a Boveda 58% humidity pack. The total grams of the dry buds are: 41.4g (medium to big sized buds) 4.1g (tiny buds) = 45.5 grams! I´m really happy with the results, I thought it would be around 30g so yeah, that´s a really good surprise! In 2 weeks I´ll be back to update the smoke report. Thanks so much for reading! Peace. 09/10 : I managed to fit everything in the same container with some space between them, so now every bud is with the Boveda pack. 14/10: It´s been a week and the smell improved, it still smells a little like hay/plant ( even tho it´s not too dry neither too wet ). 21/10: Now it´s been two weeks and even tho the smell isn´t anymore hay, it´s a lot herbal. I really think the aroma can get better, but the taste is already good enough for me. The smoke report has been done and in case I have something to add, I´ll report here. Day 29, I’ve been slowing a little bit with fer too loser as I m going into flow and I used an all mix soil from biobizz that’s already charged with an high ec, I don’t wanna risk any over, I left it for one week with just water and regulator, the development of roots will help to absorbs the ec present in the soil so I will restart to fertilise next week. I’m using the complete line from aptus and I’m really satisfied I see how healthy the littles are. I will have my lamp 40 cm for this week and I’ll Move to 33 at the end of this week Day 32 this OS is flowering supersoeedy, I can already see buds, i had one of last lst just give her a more clean structure. I stopped to fertilise in the last 5 days, I just gave ph controlled water and yesterday 0.5 lt of water with just regulator and calmag. I wanted the plant to eat all the nutrients I gave during veg, I think this worked pretty well as I I saw her growing every day and I can. See an healthy nice green on leaves . I think that max tomorrow I’ll start again with fertiliser. Day 33 the orange sherbert is really running fast. I restarted feeding her today, flowering feedings started. Let’s goo Let’s goo!!

Una semana con lluvia y mucho viento. Han soportado muy bien, estoy sorprendido. El crecimiento sigue constante. A week with rain and a lot of wind. They have endured very well, I am surprised. The growth is still constant.

This is the first week and I am already so so so excited to grow this strain from such reputable breeder! At first I wasn't going to write a journal but since this is going to be a Mainline + Scrog style of grow I believe its worth to keep an online journal for others to use as reference hopefully. Week 1: Germination was nice and quick, 15h on water cup, less than 24h on paper towel and the tap root was already shooting out far, after 2 days I planted on soil (Promix HP) and use tap water on a spray bottle to maintain soil damp and humidity high.
