Woche lief soweit ok. Die lsd-25 wird wohl die erste sein die fertig ist, gestern wurde gespült und in den nächsten tagen kommt sie für 48h ins dunkle. Die Mangelerscheinungen an den beiden mandarine sind nicht schlimmer geworden ,mal schauen wie sich das weiterhin auf die Blüten auswirkt.

Start of week 5 today, everything seems to be going great! The Gelato OG is by far the biggest plant of the bunch so far but they all seem to be taking well to LST, HST , Topping & defoliation! Will be going in the flower tent as soon as the other ladies harvest so they will probably have atleast 2 to 3 more weeks of veg!

Casey's Rollex OG is growing good. She is transitioning more into flowering and should be toward the end part of her stretch. She was lollipopped today and a selective defoliation done across the canopy. She has been eating a lot and is looking good. Here we are at week 7! During Week 6 Noticed earlier on in the week that 1 of the 5 White widows has a slight magnesium deficiency. Amended that with tsp of Epsom salt per 1 gal. PH'd water at 6.7. Noticed new growth looks okay! I think I should have added nutrients a week prior. Light defoliation on the bottom leaves under the canopy Added other 1/2 dose of down to earth 4-4-4 (I decided to half dose on the dry amendments to see how the plants respond) Added 1/2 dose of GEO Bloom 3-12.5-9 Watered dry fertilizer with compost tea brewed for 24hrs Started PH testing the soil. Reads around 6 Week 7 plans Going to try using white distilled vinegar as an organic PH down option. I have been using phosphoric acid and read that it is an inorganic. Hoping to not kill any good microbes with future watering. Tap water in my town reads at 7.6-7.8 Keeping an eye out for light stress and adjusted the light accordingly Light LST on bud sites Going to PH test run off to make sure soil is at okay PH level. New clip on fan is on its way to help lower RH in upcoming weeks. Aiming for consistent 40-45% So happy with how well this grow is going so far. Hoping it continues this way! Happy Chrimbus. TW is looking better this week, lots of growth in the nodes, the stalk looks THICK. BUT she also is a weird plant because I know nothing about it. Was found in my bud from the test plant. Just switched over to my large tent so the two can be alone to grow. I topped her a few days ago and looks to recovering well. :) 2019.12.29 well well well this beautiful bitch is pre flowering and showing ITS A GIRL! im so so so happy. YAY I plant to keep her in veg maybe 2/3 more weeks- she isnt very tall.

Grow Diary Update: Week 5 - Pre-Flowering and LST Evaluation Entering Pre-Flowering Stage At the end of last week, the first pistils appeared, marking the beginning of the pre-flowering stage for my plants 🙌 There's much to manage now. To support optimal stretching, I've adjusted the nutrients following 2/3 of the Terra Aquatica feeding schedule: CalMag: 2 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.45 mS/cm) Grow: 1.33 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 1.33 ml/l The nutrient solution now has an EC of 1.3 mS/cm (638 ppm PPM-500/TDS) with a pH of 6.1. These adjustments aim to promote vigorous growth and prepare the plants for flowering. Weather and Growth With significant weather improvements, my plants are thriving at full speed. Every centimeter gained now counts towards maximizing the final yield, turning around from the challenging weeks prior. Pest Management I'm fortunate not to have encountered pests like spider mites, aphids, or thrips. However, the persistent snail issue remains. Nightly patrols with a flashlight have been effective, and placing old lettuce leaves away from the plants has helped trap and remove snails, ensuring the plants remain undisturbed. LST Experiment Results The two plants I trained with LST have responded admirably, showing healthy adaptation to the bending and vigorous growth. Yet, I'm at a crossroads regarding the upcoming stretch phase: should I continue to tie down branches to maintain an even canopy or allow natural upward growth to potentially boost vertical yield? Should I proceed with low-stress training to control canopy height, or should I let the plants stretch upwards for increased productivity? 7/24/23 - Day 42 - Ok, so where to start? I'm going to go over the last couple days of issues/troubleshooting. We had an issue with the lights not coming on for a whole day/night cycle. That was a couple of days ago, and everything seems okay since then. I had some Canoeing/tacoing on the leaves once the lights were back on. I think I had the PH too low, 5.8. In flower, I should start moving it up the scale. Once I corrected the PH to 6.2, the canoeing/tacoing in the leaves seemed to be gone/almost gone. I'm REALLY worried about the height of the plant. She is only 12 in. from the light that I cannot move. I added a second scrogg net???? I don't know if that's done a lot, but I'm going to try and stop if from growing straight up. I think the best I can do is give it a lean. So Ill call this the ScoggGL (GangstaLean). You'll see some pictures up top as I start the ScoggGL I did the first big trim and pulled a 3-gallon bucket of fan leaves out. I cut off a few side branches I didn't want the plant to waste energy on. I trimmed so many leaves off it was crazy. The smells have been awesome! You all know the smell of the fresh plant stems and leaves as you trim and rub across them. It's one of my favorite smells, which is in full effect. I noticed that I have some pistils growing. I know what that means, shes going to have some flowers here in the next week. I couldn't be more excited!!!!! The roots are just downright ruthless; they have been growing out of control. I have a great picture of them in there with no water. I should note that I did two things that might have solved the Tacoing in the leaves. It could have been one or the other, but it also could be a combo of both things. I did the trimming to get some airflow between the leaves and changed the target for my PH from 5.8 to 6.2. When moving into flowering, I should have already done that. But I did both things while the leaves were Tacoing, and now they are not. I wanted to make sure I noted that. 7/26/23 - Day 44 - Things are looking great. No more tacoing, she's growing and still drinking about 2+ gallons a day of water. I hope the vertical growth stops soon, I want to remove a ton more fan leaves, and I'm hoping that it spends more time growing around than up, I'm keeping some leaves on just to slow some vertical growth. 7/27/23 - Day 45 - She's sleeping right now, but I will chop some more fan leaves when she wakes up. She's growing too tall, and I need to find a way to stop her. I think shocking her system will help stunt her growth. How crazy is this, what a conundrum I'm in. Normally I stress out trying to find the right time to trim to avoid stunting growth. I always keep my plants busy and do one or two chops. I think they need to grow as mother nature intended. Let them grow and do one, maybe two fan leave chops. That's always been my motto and its always worked out great for me. This is now the exact opposite. Feels weird even thinking about it, doing a leave chop two weeks into flower..... ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!! Lol The 2nd chop has happened. I took a ton of fan leaves off. It's time for the plant to slow down heal and start working on the buds! Let's see how this goes over the next couple of days. I added a timelapse of me chopping her up. 7/28/23 - Day 46 - After adding more water last night, I was checking PH, and I did a quick check on the ppm from the nutes. If it went from 600ppm down to 130ppm in a couple of days. So we decided to give her another dose of nutes so she has something to eat. I'll update you after she wakes up for the day. The girls are doing well so far. Advanced nutrients in combination with the Lumatek Zeus 600W Pro 3.1 is a killer combo. Also the coco substrate is working well so far. I placed them in bigger pots today . 🌱

She's still going! Not long now though, I'm thinking a week or two. She is so frosty and sticky! Incredible.

Fist day 12/12. Lady’s react very well after putting the net that’s why I decided to put them in flower. I top dress with Worm casting 50/50 of 444 and 284 -1Tbsp per gallon Rock dust -1Tbsp per gallon Mineralised phosphate-1teaspoon per gallon I sprinkle the rootball with myco and water with compost the of warm casting and molasses. This week I’ll defoliate the fun leaves and lollipop the bottom of all plant to increase air flow.
