No update last week sorry got busy. In week 10 of veg they were cruising along and got bushy as can be from the heavy Defoliation. I wanted to give them a chance to really recover unlike usual before doing any more cutting or defoliating. Now we are in week 1 of veg and the single GMO Zkittlez needed nutrients so I gave it 21 ml/g of the A and B, 9 ml/g of Voodoo and Bud Candy and 10 ml/g of Cal-mag plus since I know it's a heavy feeder from growing GMO sherbet in the past. The rest will be getting the listed nutrient mix this week on their next watering. I defoliated them heavy this week again to allow any branches to stretch to the net that want too. I also took off any branches that were dying from being severely shaded, that just would be in the way later on, or were not worth keeping. I added in some green lacewings (eggs as we speak) to keep any pests at bay and prevent any future issues as part of my new organic IPM regimen. Everything looks amazing and I can't wait to see the end result!!

Week 4 started off with a bang as the day before was LST day. I’m new to this but the goal here is as many bud sites as possible. She’s growing great considering it’s 90+ everyday here and august is insane normally here.

In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. 8/27 I think I mightve been overwatering. It's so hard to tell when the conditions change week to week. That's Maine for ya. Bags were still heavy and plants were soaked. I tried to shake the more advanced flowering plants without sending water everywhere. That's how septoria spreads. The event horizon I treated with plant doctor looks the best it ever has. It's tile for another application on the toasted toffy. I'm seeing a few spots again. I didn't have time to take pictures or do a video. This video is from last night. I'll treat that toasted toffy again today and I'll record it here. After I see it working u may treat the others. I see some residue of k bicarb but it has pretty much eradicated the pm. I know it will always be there but these treatments seem to be working. I'll be adding beastie bloom to my line up soon. EVERYDAY I go over the buds are bigger more compact and dense. Event horizon, toasted toffy and the red runtz (I think) in the 50 are flowering to beat hell! The get bigger everytime I see them. I can smell them as soon as I round the corner. This is going to be a good year. These strainsxare high in thc. Maybe I gave up some mold resistance and a harder to grow strain but if I can make it to the end it will be fire. WENT BACK OVER AROUND 5. OBVIOUSLY IN THIS SCORCHING 80°+ day the seedling in the 10 was dry as a popcorn fart. Some other plants seemed dry when I stuck my arm down the bag but I could feel some moisture when I pushed my finger through the medium. They WILL need water but I'm not giving it to them tonight. Took a shit ton if pictures and a video this morning. I'll uploadcthat shit tomorrow. I'm trying to do a couple right now. Anyway I continued to defoliate what needs it. Flowers are swelling. I GAVE THE TOASTED TOFFY ITS 2ND TREATING OF PLANT DOCTOR. I USED A QTR GALLON OF A 4 TSP PER GALLON MIXTURE. I MADE SURE TO GET AS MUCH OF THE FOLIAGE AS POSSIBLE AND THEN I USED THE RESTCON THE MEDIUM. I SHOULDVE PROBABLY WATERED THAT ONE BUT ITS GOING TO RAIN TONIGHT. AT LEAST I HOPE IT IS. Looks like some of the pics are uploading! Yay! The plants looked the best I've ever seen them tonight so I held off watering. My wife is I'll and may need to go to the hospital. So instead of watering prematurely I can monitor the situation and make a decision in the morning. I made enough phed water for my father to go around and water everything. He is aware of the situation. Hopfully that will not be necessary. However, I don't want to over water and I feel like they didn't want it. Just going with my intuition. It's done me pretty good so far. 8/28 Luckily no hospital. It's sprinkling out. Plants are covered in water so we got SOME rain. It says we will get 0.00 but that can't be right. I watered the 10 yesterday and everything else this morning with a gallon each except the middle gmo in the 30 which got 1.5 gallons. Did not water the one in the 50 gal pot. It looks a little overwatered. Also looks like it has a slight calcium/magnesium deficiency. I'll up the calmag and i'll make sure when I do water I'll water thoroughly. Like usual toasted toffy is looking better after the treatment. The all star has been the k bicarb. I haven't seen shit for pm. Just a little residue from the k-bicarb. Took a video and some pictures. This is the fun time. I like watching the buds develop. Some of these plants were monster cropped so they are STACKED. I'll keep what I do updated. 8/29 Made an awesome video today bit it won't upload. Probably because its a little over 2 minutes. I'll do another one if it won't upload. Nope it won't even attempt to upload it now. Oh well. They flowers just looked so pretty this morning. I noticed some WPM on the event horizon in the middle. I noticed SOME on the bottom and interior of the GMO that I had already identified. I'll do another k-bicarb treatment and see how that goes. Plant Doctor seems to he doing a pretty good job on the septoria on toastedctoffy and my favorite event horizon. That plantvis THICK. it's going to be stacked and have some huge colas. I need to LST it and suppirt those giant colas and separate them a bit more. There is never any shortage of work to be done I can tell you that. I treated the middle event horizon with it as well. It seems to work awesome. I'm losing tons of leaves. I hope that's normal senescence. I think it is seeing as how I see SOME foliage in the woods. Its matching other diaries. The plant must shed some leaves to make these flowers that seem to double in size every time I see them! I KINDA USED THE REST AS A SQUALCH SINCE I HAD WATERED THIS MORNING. THE WIND WAS STRONG. I ADDED A GARDEN STAKE AND ROPE SUPPORT TO THE TOASTED TOFFY AND ATTACHED IT RIGHT TO THE FRAME OF THE CAGE. LOOKS GOOD FOR NOW. ILL KEEP THINGS UPDATED.

This grow was pretty simple ! They went a total of 103 days from seed! Very trichomy dense buds with the smell of Berries vanilla and skunk ! This is a must try for you all Fastbuds has the greats!!!

4 out of 4 and all of them are very healthy and strong babys so i am waiting for a good yield lets see whats fast veraion of this strain can offer to me. Many thanx for the seeds to the one of the beat companies in thia business. So happy 420.

Buds are already getting nice and dense. Thick coat of trichomes is already glistening. Flower production has been very on point! Very hardy colas flying off these girls. Very excited for this one. I reduced the nitrogen dose again. I also stopped giving them vigorous. Its a pure bloom mix now as these ladies are booming with flowers. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Photos soon. The Tahoe og is a thick as hell bush with several main tops after just recieving one topping probably 10inches tall maybe 12. The growth I’ve seen with a new soil mix and adding co2 is unbelievable. The girls are 27 days old but look like 2 month old plants. The choco candy is a typical hybrid. She’s a lilttle lanky but is branching terrific and developing several tops. I just topped her for the second time today. The gdp is the most indica plant in structure that I’ve ever grown. Really short with deep dark green short fat leaves. The ww is holding her own. Glue mac is on deck.

week intel: its time for second pruning they grew up too fast and need second pruning as below : first i remove big fan leaves and only leaves then let them rest for 1 day then the second part of pruning will get done that is removing branches based on these conditions: 1-if the branch is very low and never can make it to the top , 2- if branch is in shade even after pruning fan leaves , 3- if there are too many branches at the small space then non of them will get resources so if there is no space for branch then , they must get remove. everything is perfect! stresses : pruning big fan leaves and lower branches + a little E.C stress around 1.7 once a week feeding: i feed them 3 times this week with this order : day 1 : i feed them heavy with silicate +base nutrients(calcium & micros + Bloom) about 884 ppm - 1.7 e.c to cause a little stress. day 3 : i feed them low dose of Feeding Booster + Karbo Boost around 325 ppm - 0.6 e.c to let them recover a little but not fully recover still a little stress will caused. day 5 : i feed them with low dose of Top-Max + B-52 around 213 ppm - 0.4 e.c to let them recover the stresses to get ready for another stress next week. guide of the week : no more stresses from now on till the end and from next week i'll reduce the amount of nitrogen and calcium to below half to the end.

Thc bomb is coming towards the end soon. Trichromes are starting to turn, but still early. The bud is still putting on weight so likely will feed this week and reassess thru the week.
