Black Opium - Week Update 🌿 Quick update on Black Opium! Reached unexpected heights with branches exceeding 50cm in length. Running a bit behind her tent mates but now bulking up nicely - the buds are doing excellent work despite inevitable light stress. For an 8L pot she’s absolutely massive! Takes up way more space than expected. Definitely keeping that in mind for the next Black Opium seed - this strain needs serious real estate! So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉

This was the girls last week of Veg. ❤️ I did a big defoliation, the lit in my 4x4 custom SCROG netting and started tucking and bending the tops down to fill the spaces. They were looking pretty scraggly for a day or two after the defoliation, but within a few days the screen was filling out. I have a daily routine of lights on, tuck and bend, no weaving and then just before lights out I’ll do the same. Temps were good, watering has been vigorous. They are very thirsty! Feeding about 1 1/2 gallons every feed now, the 4 gallon pots are a bit undersized but I wanted to see what could Come of These slightly taller pots, rather than the wider regular sized pots. Haven’t had to add humidity this week, pretty consistent around 60%. At the end of the week I changed the light cycle to a 12/12 for flowering ❤️👊🇨🇦

Que hay familia os traemos la 3 semana de nuestras green ak xL, y es que están bastante sanas, tuve que atar las puntas a las esquinas por que la altura se nos fue de las manos. Tienen muchos brazos laterales, que espero que en unas semanas sean largas colas de flores. Ph controlado y humedad dentro de los parámetros aconsejables, regamos cada 2 días, y todos los riegos llevan nutrientes. Esta variedad me tiene personalmente desconcertado, es bastante sensible a los cambios así que procuramos tenerla en una rutina alimentaria y lumínica sin nada de cambios, veremos cómo apremia en unos meses.

They all seem to be different phenos, all very pretty looking, nice trichome coverage, the tall plant with small buds has a layer of trichomes on the stems!

Last couple weeks for the Green Gelato pair. Getting a couple amber trichs in the video. I accidentally snapped a branch and decided to fully remove it from one, and will add to the total weight at the end. The Royal Gorilla is a strange one. Still far behind at this age, could go 100 days potentially lol. Drinking 2l a day too.

So 7 days after the start of germination all seeds have germinated and broken through the soil, only one of the seeds haven’t yet unfolded her leaves and that might have been because i helped her get the seed off to early but overall it is looking good and week one of veeg is about to begin.

12/10 - Moved 6 clones from a 2x2 into the 3x3 - Swapping lights from 150W MarsHydro to Sunraise QB3000 300W lights - Running humidifier during lights on - had some yellowing on the leaves but have since been corrected.
