A good first week overall. Couldn't be with them all the time so there was a day they got too much humidity. Some of the girls droopped because of this. A couple may not recover. But we'll see. So got the net in place this week and started doing my ScrOG. Also did a bit of FIMing and some LST to help speed things up a bit. So far the weaving hasn't been as easy as I was told it be some ive been using some soft twist ties to help keep them in place. Going to veg and weave for another week or so before I switch it to flower. I was told you have to continue weaving for 2-3 weeks into flower but im worried that'll stress the plant out so if anyone that reads this knows other wise, comment below. Increased the feed from 1 liter to 2 liters because I wasn't getting any run off. Now I'm getting 10% run off every watering and I've been able to keep my run off ppm to less then 100 ppm above feed. So far I'm really like working with coco and don't see myself going back to soil unless it's outside plants. The environment has been fairly stable the last week with outside temperature droping. Had a spike in humidity yesterday because it got up to 75% humidity outside where I live. Luckly when that happened my tent only went up to roughly 67% but it's slowly dropped down and then stopped at 62%. There calling for another heat wave this week with it reaching up to almost 40c again for a couple days.... can not wait for summer to be over. I'm a ginger so I'm more of a autumn and spring kind of guy and plus this heat is making it difficult not only for this plant but also the ones I started seeding a few weeks back. Got so hot that they stopped growing for 3 days, 2 died and 3 got burned a bit. So far this 300w SE-3000 Spider-Farmer light is really rocking it. Great coverage, adjustable and detachable ballast have made this a easy grow even with the mad heat. Definitely going to look at the SE-5000 light that runs at 450w or the SE-7000 light that runs at 650w for my next light in the 4x4 tent. Next go around I'm going to try this light in a 2x2 tent I have that I use for germinating. Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone.

Hello Growmies, As we wrap up the first week of vegetation for our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, we've observed that despite being a mere seven days behind, these plants are making their mark with remarkable uniformity. week intel: its time to harvest some of plants the ones that is mature enough. indica dominant plants will done first always so we should harvest them first because my base nutrients and one of boosters was salt based, i'll do flushing this week to get some relieve to plants in the last days stresses : flushing Drought stress via watering only one time with flushing this week feeding: day 1 : i flushed them with Advanced Nutrients Flawless finish and adjusted ph day 3 : no more feeding from now on day 5 : no more feeding from now on guide of the week : i harvest in 2 parts : first i harvest top of the branches and will let the lower buds to ripe another week then ill harvest the second wave. indica dominant plants will get done 1 or 2 weeks sooner than sativa dominant plants that will often takes more than 8 weeks so be aware to harvest them sooner. my dry and cure style is this: 3 days of hanging upside down to get water activity lower to around 0.6 in 50% humidity and 26 C temp (i know its a little high but we are in a hot summer right now and i cant get it lower even with air conditioner) and then after 3 days of drying i remove leaves and stalks, trim buds and move them to jar for the rest of their life :D . and in the first 4 days of curing i open the jar door and let hem get some fresh air in the jar for about 5 minutes and close the jar door again, after 4 days of curing like that buds are smokable but they will get better as they getting cured about 1 month. im happy as hell with this harvest :D.

This week, I gave my plants more fertilizer to test if they show any signs of burning. Now, I'm stressed out! I think I should give myself some seaweed to relieve the stress 😂 The girls show signs of calcium deficiency. I sprayed a small amount of calcium and magnesium on them to help them recover faster. I’m not sure why the new leaves are very pale. Could they be lacking iron? I think the high soil moisture might be causing issues with iron absorption, but I’m not completely sure. I’ll wait and see what happens this week. Considering that I use regular water, I expected them not to have a calcium deficiency.

Plants have stretched more than i thought. Been trying to fill out the screen as best as i can, some have worked better than others. Looks like there are plenty of bud sights. Began pk heavy this week so looking forwsrd to seeing them fatten up. I also gave a light defoliation under the canopy removing skinny stretchy stems receiving little light. I also removed some massive fan leaves that were blocking light from budsights. Not too many just enough to have light penetrate.

Easy harvest not a terrible amount of leaves. Drying can be difficult at times depending on weather conditions due to the density of the buds, watch close. Dry went well

Week 11, & the End of 4 weeks of flowering (30 Days of 12/12) Welcome back to our regular scheduled programming.... Like I mentioned we are officially 30 days into our 12/12 lighting cycle. Now taking into consideration that this is one of the first runs of this particular strain the flower period is partially undetermined, I will be guessing based on Lineage of the parents, & following her closely towards the end to ensure my desired trichome ripeness. Katsu's HotCake's run's Approximately 8-9 Weeks & The Grape Ape run's slightly quicker at 7-8 Weeks You can certainly tell the difference between all 5 plants, I'm very glad I took cuts of everything ! as plants 2 & 3 are certainly the keepers of the bunch.. plant 2 showing some very cool fall colours already (emerson effect hitting strong asf) She is already starting to purple up & smells Very Sweet. My guess is this pheno leans more to the Grape Ape side. As far as plant 3 is concerned I can smell heavy Kush aromas emulating off her already, & based on her flowering structure I believe this pheno leans more Katsu Bubba. but we'll have to wait and see. A Minor amount of leaf plucking this week should be noted.. It will probably be the last time I mess with them, its time to start swelling up. It is my opinion that most of the stretch has been completed & i'm now looking at the final colas minus the couple weeks of filling out of course. As this is the end of four weeks of flower(12/12) Their food will be increased during the next feeding, thus far i've been impressed with the ease of this strain.. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I will say this I was weary of over-feeding but all of them seem to enjoy heavy feedings. HLG 260w Qb288v1 4000k; 20/4 light schedule. 24 inches from canopy. Temp range 72-81F. RH range 42-55%. LST has really brought out the potential colas on both plants. One is lagging a bit behind the other, but not by much. The light is so strong the plants are nearly flat due to LST - 5.5 inches tall Day 28 What should my nutrient schedule be this week? Using Fox Farms soil trio. Thinking 1/4 strength grow big and tiger bloom every other feeding. Hoping they get a good stretch, trying to get highest yield I can (my first experience not having to purchase cannabis from anyone!) Watering every 24 hours with 1/4 gallon pH corrected 6.3 well water ( no runoff). Entire smart pots feels light and dry before I water either plant.

So where I live we had a really bad storm it had knocked out my power for a full 24 hrs so I had to give them some extra attention to insure there was no mold or any pest with no fan rotation. Then I also had to put them back on there proper timer to get things back on a roll so far so good they still look and smell amazing wish me luck

4-19 Growth continues. Seeing more pistils and branches are still expanding. Haven't had to defoliate and am keeping door open during the day to keep temps down. 4-20 Defoliated more lower branches which were not going to get big. 4-21 Defoliated big upper leaves which were blocking lower bud sites. 4-24 Flushed her out for first time yesterday. Installed a large container to contain the run-off.
