I don't have to feed every 2 days now anyways its slowed to 3. I top off the ones near turgor pressure loss levels ( I check my whole hand down side of pot for moisture now) with tap water when needed today. Tomorrow will be feeding ~1000ppm most likely due to using Diamond Nectar chelating nutrients with large amounts of blackstrap molasses when combined and left in the reservoir before use. This seems to drop the detectable ppm even though it retains a high level of nutrient content... with Cal/mag (1-0-0) and KoolBloom Powder which is like a 0-30-40 its wildly powerful. Back right Tropicanna smells like Pineapple Sour Patch Kids without the sour. Its insane. I wish I had smell o' vision for you folks right now. Wedding Cake is like sugary sweet but weed esque... earthy esque type of thing. Not the Tropicanna... Shits fruity like kool-aid. Nugs are getting humongous and its pretty fun to watch it fill in, I had a low level anxiety of it never "Filling" in... but yea it's day 45 and look at Big Bertha... nearly dwarfing my fat ass arm... wild shit. Feel like these ladies have at least another 14~ days on the lower end. Wedding Cake should finish a week after Tropicanna... Trying to grab Wedding Cake "indica" tendencies and max them by going for 40-50% amber, 60-50% cloudy trichomes with under 2% (like literally 1-3 clear per 60X magnifying pic) clear trichomes. Tropicanna only 20% ish amber until clear is only about 20% of trichome and cloudy makes up roughly 60% of total trichome finishing... ----- Day 46 ----- Easy day Fed 1050ppm @ 6.4ph 13 Liters only. I want the root zones to dry out more and quicker, less chance of mold and other root rot issues. Cutting watering/feeding in half now but will be feeding prob twice as much. Gives light in between the 2 plants at the side and also helps remove any light burn on the tropicanna, as I have been noticing a very slight tinting of too much light in the central part of the tent. Plants look incredible, tiny bit of tip burn but im not too worried, I'm feeding 1000-1200 ppm at the moment. Speaking of which, fed some tap water, 500ml each, they were dry enough to warrant a turgor pressure loss top up. Feeding tomorrow. The Wedding Cake on the left is throwing out paintbrushes thick of pistils, it's quite insane. Gonna be a hell of a plant around day 63!!! Day 53 i'll start checkin trichomes and start posting x20-x60 shots.

Overall a fun and enjoying flower of the purple sunset. She transitions quickly and stretchs fast. Being an indica hybrid she doesn't get too tall, thus creating strong and sturdy branches to hold her fast dense frosty nugs. During the stretch she loves a good amount of grow notes. Week 2 to 4 she starts getting picky. Once she starts to fade, it is time to drop the grow nutes and go into full bloom early in week 4. This cultivar shows more phenotypical expressions depending on climate and flush. She shows huge purple hues in flush. Allowing her to go into week 9 to 11 can result in almost purple buds. She has a nice term profile in flower and once in the jars. Sweet candy grape 🍇 purple punch notes on the nose and on the pallette when exhaling on the smoke. When trimming this girl she was. Breeze to trim. She got a good 8 to 9 days to dry and was then sweat in the jars. When you smoke Ethos purple sunset the indica really hits you like a train. Taking her down at day 52 was a good choice. The high feels like any of the high once u smoke it. You don't start to notice the stoned effects until you're halfway through a big bowl with your partner. As you guys finish, you notice the body stone take in effect as well the heavy chest and trachea feeling which I LOVE. A sense of happiness and relaxation set in almost immediately. Very enjoyable indica high with great terps. I would give it a 10 but that maybe next run once grow her to week 10 flower. Overall Ethos purple sunset delivers. Nurturing My Cannabis Plants: Balancing Light and Protection In the first half of the day, I place my seedlings on a south-facing windowsill to ensure they catch some light. During the evening hours, they travel back to my balcony. This routine helps them get the light they need while staying safe from pests. Protecting My Plants: A Grower's Dilemma I'm hesitant to leave them outside permanently because, unfortunately, all my other vegetables have been eaten by snails. I certainly don't want the same fate for my precious cannabis plants. For now, they’re enjoying a mix of south windowsill and balcony life, which seems to be working well. First Watering: Preparing for Growth Once the coco mix dries out, they will receive their first feeding. Terra Aquatica Tripart is my nutrient trio of choice. I'll start with a half-dose, as recommended by the feeding chart, to ensure they don’t get nutrient burn. First Feeding: A New Stage My ladies seemed to enjoy their sleepover in the greenhouse. Now it's time for their first feeding. I added Cal-Mag to achieve an EC of 0.5 mS/cm to start with. I gave them a half-dose of nutrients as described in the chart and watered with enough runoff.

Unlike the other time… this time I will be around to monitor the growth and be able the LST some brunches to better expose the new growth to the light(the sun, maybe in my 6th cycle I will install fans and lights), however let me worry about getting this current cycle to harvest. I am glad to see after a heavy session of defoliation she did not take time from recover from shock, now she’s going to just focus on flowering. She’s my biggest plant during this cycle, I wonder if she’s going to bless me with juices strawberries size buds. So much excitement lays ahead, must not mess up a good thing.
