Runtz Auto Week 5 2/2-2-8 Runtz Automatic is in flower and are stretching like crazy. At the beginning of the week, she was 6 inches tall, Wed 9 and today 2/7 she is 15 inches tall. Doubled in height. I’ve moved the pins out to the edge of the pot. For future training, I must add some wires through the pot holes to keep the branches lower. I’ve spread the top out and a few limbs are taller than the others. I reduced nutrients in the feed solution since Runtz and Pink Rozay are showing some purples/blues in the leaves. I added Green Sensation this week then read the instructions said add in 4th week flower. Runtz Auto is supposed to be an 11 week flower from seed to harvest. If I wait till the 4th week, it will only be used for 2 maybe 3 weeks. Would that benefit the plant? So I think I will add some each time but a 25% strength. Calls for 4ml/g I will use 1ml. They are autos and I should be lowering the nutes anyway. Pinned more branches and lightly defoliatied. I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line. 2/5 4 gal prep, each nutrient added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and Dill in the back. Trying to keep the humidity to 50% is a task right now . Swapped up the fan and carbon filter for a Spider Farmer 6 inch complete kit as the budget one from Growell was immensely loud . Serves me right for going for a deal on 4/20 weekend . Never go too cheap on vital equipment Anyway , first week of flower done , the runt is trying its best lol , the other two are doing great . Although the Peanut Butter cookie is now the daddy of the bunch . Looking forward to the flowering fun Managed to grab a dehumidifier for 30 notes from a local retailer . Taken it down to 44 from high 50’s . Every little helps :)

So this is her last wk before i chop them been flushing with plain water. Loving the colours this time around. things i have learnt is IR/infrared at for 15min at lights out on a light cyc 14/10 screwed them last run big time. Harvest completed and plants are now hanging to dry. I focused on a clean, controlled dry, keeping temperature and humidity stable to preserve terpenes and overall quality. This phase is all about patience and letting the work done during the grow settle properly. I’ll keep monitoring conditions closely and update later with the curing phase, where the final aroma and smoothness will really come together. Stay tuned 💚

Gorilla Jealousy F1 is growing great. I just did her first lst training today. Getting her spread out and center opened up for future growth. Everything is looking great. She is eating and drinking a lot. Nothing more to report at the moment. Day 69 of cycle - day 32 of flowering.. My biggest plant in size since I started growing 3 years ago.. I qm really happy with what is coming out of this besuty gelato.. I am impressed by the growth and health of this babe.. many branch sides with many top buds.. the smell is amazing, that good gelato we all know.. let’s fatten it up and I can’t wait to smoke it.. let’s go

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Week 6 of 8 begins! Mandarin dreams 1&2 are looking great, bulking up and smelling delish! MD1 is the runt of the two pheno's and has a shitty smell, MD2 is the stronger of the two and has the smell of a citrus cleaner. First week of flowering Everything went pretty decent, I cleaned the bottom branches for an optimum light effect on each top budd. I started adding bloom nutrient in my solution, and will stop rhizoponic and grow nutrient in 2 weeks. On week 4/5 of flowering I'll add budd candy and booster .

The buds are very tight, but they didn't grow large colas so that means wasted time trimming cannabis, which I am not a huge fan of. I will not be growing this strain again, as I believe there are far better breeders and strains out there. I will continue to seek out the best breeders and strains until I am satisfied. I believe this Auto will yield in the 16-22 Ounce range dry, so I am not super disappointed, but I know I can do much better than this. After 6 days of drying, it took me around 7 hours to trim this auto, and she ended up yielding 16.72 Ounces. So she was definitely on the lower end of the spectrum from what I estimated on chop day, but still in the range. The buds are very tight, and smell like like cheese. I am only running one mature auto at a time now, so next up will be the Acid Dough from Ripper Seeds. I hope everyone has a great rest of your weekend, stay safe and Blaze On!!
