14.7. D90 Harvest day ✂️. 49.9

Everything is looking great ! Cheese is nearly done, it is starting to show amber. Maui is very happy and smells amazing, it just glistens with tri-chromes. Buttercream is doing well but I think it will take a week or two longer than the others. Blueberry is looking awesome very large thick dense buds. No Blueberry smell but a very strong plant otherwise. *Update Buttercream gelato started throwing Banana's so I removed it from the room. I trimmed it down and did not notice any other signs of hermaphroditism but I will still harvest the plant now just to be safe. There have been no issues with light or heat fluctuations at all, nothing that would trigger it to Hermie that I can think of which makes me think genetics are the issue. I have One other Buttercream going that was cloned before this one went into flower. If it hermies late in the bloom like this one has I will remove the strain from my rotation. I am not particularly pleased with the structure of Buttercream for scrog in any case. The plant that I took down had very large bud sites but were no where near as dense as the other strains in the tent.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. La altura de las plantas ronda entre los 45 y 60cm. Durante esta semana se realizara una poda, todavia no realizada al momento de hacer este seguimiento. Se prosigue el riego 3 veces por semana, lunes, miercoles y sabados. Aparecen los primeros pistilos que dan comienzo a la flora.

Bud sites are producing black/purple spot in leaves. Bud growth is producing as the days go by. Really excited with this being my first grow Nitrogen boost really helped with the deficiencies. Plants are starting to look really heathy... Prunes lower colas that weren't stretching past the canopy and receiving energy so more energy can be used towards the top buds

I don't know exactly what's going on with Tropicana Bannana - any ideas? I suppose it's an enzyme problem? Maybe to much acid hummus in soil? And this is the effect of some reaction between acid hummus and nutritions?

when I came, I saw it blooming, which I did not expect.. the weather was gloomy, little sun, and quite a lot of rain, its stem is tall, but at the same time strong :) we will wait for ripening :).

Besides a few leaf spots here and there everything is going smoothly, 2 waterings this week, one with just PH'd and 3ml of cal-mag water, the other with the mentioned nutes, around a half gal each watering( first time I actually used my growbig). When I've been watering, I've been going off pot weight, so no set schedule. Doing half strength compared to what fox farm suggested because of the soil still holding nutes. Going to bump it up to normal strength the coming week. I turned the light intensity down for a few days to 70%ish. I thought this might help with some stretch and the discolored tips. I went ahead and did some major defoliation this time around compared to last time as well with the goal of narrowing down my bud sites/colas. I also ended up just snipping off the FIM'd tip as it was very scrawny and funky looking. So far I'm very happy with this strain(I have nothing to compare it to lol), but I know it's time to switch to flowering in a week, two tops. Just going to keep taking my time with her and making sure we have a happy plant, not a rushed one. As always I'd love to hear from the community on what you guys think. Thank you and God Bless

Temperature fluctuations between 18c and 24c whilst lights are on even with a heater in there. Also putting the humidity up higher into the high 60’s which is not ideal.
