another uneventful week. the girl is still creating nodes like crazy ... she is growing sideways rather than rushing for the lights. i raised the lights higher to about 12" from the top of the leaves. i also changed the nutrients from a seedling recipe to an early growth stage recipe that is richer in nitrogen with a higher ec 1.2. i also got to see the roots for the first time, they are looking really nice - white and fuzzy. i made the main nutrient tank more permanent and relocated the used nutrient and fresh nutrient tanks in their own chamber so, it's even easier to do manual nutrient changes (1 container in and 1 container out sort thing). later on, in the week, i noticed the main roots showing a little discoloration, not sure if i should be concerned about this, but she looks healthy.. it was fun using the doser again as i really hate mixing chem's since my days in chemistry labs. looking forward to new aggressive growth this week.

The plant showed some problem areas on the leaf, and the characteristic red stems appeared on the upper floors of the plant. I began to wonder if this was due to the PH level or not, but I added some PK 13-14 just in case. keeping track of the PH level when growing on soil is very difficult for me. On coco substrate it was easy there are still some problems with the humidity of the tent, because my ventilation with a pc cooler and a charcoal filter mat for the hoods can barely cope with the large vapors of the leaves

Bonjour à tous les padawans et maîtres jedis stretch 15 centimètres (Stretch explanations more) EXPOSURE TO LIGHT One of the main culprits in abnormal stretching of cannabis plants is the lack of light. Plants that are too far from an adequate light source will respond by accelerating stem growth in order to get closer to the lamp themselves. Especially when there are many other plants. A lack of lighting can easily cause overcrowding in a growing chamber, reducing the steady progression of your crop and the distance ratio between your bulbs and your plants. To address this problem, be sure to provide enough light to your plants to prevent stem growth. At the same time, you should not position your lights too close to your plants either since this would also result in an over-stretching of the stems and in some cases, the loss of your crop. In addition to the distance between the light source and the plant, the type of light you will use also affects the size of the stretching of your crop. The orange and red lights encourage stretching and result in thinner, larger stems. And conversely, blue light stimulates a growth of thicker stems and a smaller size. When a species is ready to enter the vegetative phase and undergo its most drastic stretching period, metal halide lamps can be used to deter far too long stems. THE HEAT Heat is another essential element that can determine the stretch size of your plants during vegetation. Temperatures above 27 degrees push the stems to lengthen more and more and will propel the potential of sativas to push as high as possible. Heat lamps that are positioned too close to plants create an intolerable environment that will grow large, soft plants that will potentially wobble until they fall and lose flowers in its fall. OTHER CAUSES OF STRETCHING There are multiple variables that can lead to the stretching of plants beyond what could normally be expected of the plant. Environmental stressors resulting from transplantation (when a plant passes from one pot to another) can cause the plant to return to shock. This will eventually trigger a reaction causing a stretch. Cannabis plants that are not grown in decent conditions or do not receive enough nutrients will respond in a variety of ways and this includes stretching. Crops that are not spaced far enough apart are likely to stretch to sting the light to other plants. Due to extreme proximity, the plants will fight among themselves to reach the light, forcing them to expand as much as possible throughout the crop. HOW TO CONTROL STRETCHING DURING FLOWERING Stretching during flowering, you guessed it, takes place when you move your plants from the vegetation stage to the flowering stage. This is a completely normal reaction, as your plants are preparing to bear the weight of their heads. Stretching of a plant at the beginning of flowering varies widely; some plants can double in height while others grow only a few centimetres. There are, however, two main variables that can give you at least an idea of how your plants are stretching during flowering, and how much. Here are these two variables: Variety: Genetics has the greatest impact on the size of your plant. In general, sativa varieties stretch more than indicas and tend to develop long, slender stems. Light: Some lights, such as HPS, are more likely to encourage stretching. In addition, great distances between your canopy and your lights will cause the plants to stretch as they try to get closer to the light source. Stretching during flowering usually lasts the first two weeks of the phase. To minimize stretching, keep your lights between 10 (for CFL) and 30 centimetres (for HID) of your canopy. Finally, choose indica varieties if you have a smaller growing space. HOW TO AVOID STRETCHING In many cases, you can expect your cannabis plants to stretch during the flowering phase. Keeping that in mind helps to make a plan in case your species ends up growing much more than you could have imagined. If the information is available, get information on the standard size of your species and compare it to the size of your growing space taking into account the necessary distances between the bulbs and the plants. TRAFFIC While outdoor crop operations benefit from natural air to naturally limit stretching, indoor crops must assume the maintenance of air circulation within a confined space. Basic ventilation is enough to help the cannabis stems strengthen and become thicker rather than too high. In this way, the plants continue to grow vigorously without reaching heights and at the same time, your tolerance ceiling. MANUAL INTERVENTION For growers who want to get their hands dirty, there are physical procedures that can be done to reduce stretching. Similar to the natural effect that the wind has on cannabis plants, manually bending the leaves and stems will cause tiny cracks in the plant's tissues that will cause the plant to focus on regenerating its wounds instead of its vertical growth. THE TOPPING Topping is a form of manual intervention on cannabis to influence its performance, shape or size. In essence, topping is a process in which a new node is cut, growing from the plant to reduce its size and create a "v"-shaped notch that will eventually form two heads. Topping may be an effective measure to combat stretching, but it is important not to do so when the flowering phase begins. In most cases, an abnormal stretch of cannabis plants will not completely destroy your crop. In fact, stretching can indeed help increase your performance. For growers with a growing operation large enough to contain tall plants, stretching can increase the total yield of a species with more vertical space for head formation. In both cases, stretching can easily be planned in advance and there are multiple solutions to help you with this problem which is all too common.

on the video, the 2 on the right side are the Ayahuasca Purps, the other ones are Peyote critical. getting real bushy, need to defoliate soon day 32: they got their first feeding, I only use a minimal amount of blooming nutrients. day 33: plucked some leaves , cuz there was no airflow at all, also installed a new ventilator. day36: again, I had to defoliate a little

the seedlings germinated on September 22 in the biobizz light mix soil after 13 days I administered 1ml / lt. advanced nutrients ph perfect grow 1ml / lt. ph perfect micro 1ml / lt. 2ml / lt. b-52 2ml / lt voodoo juice after 4 days I repeated the fertilization with 1.4ml / lt of the main nutrients and 2ml / lt of b-52 after a few days I noticed some burnt tip signs of overfertilization so from day 12 I started giving demineralized water until the outflow for 3-4 times until a few days ago that I noticed a yellowing of the upper part and spots that look like calcium or potassium deficiency I was also wondering if I can do without the cal-mag since the ph perfect micro contains a lot of calcium. tomorrow I give the third dose of nutrients hoping they will recover since nothing has changed with the first two fertilizations Days 39 they do not seem mileage even after a week of fertilization even if at very low dosages the next time I increase the nutrients and let's see what happens Days 41 it looks like it's going well they still look nutrient deficient the next time we increase the dosage.

This has been going for more than intended, but I lack light still to fill in the whole tent. I will continue for more weeks in order for all the plants to mature and be able to dry it at the same place.

Se acercan las 2 ultimas semanas. Esta semana y luego se viene flawless. Tratando de bajar de a poco la EC y bajando la humedad para evitar problemas fungicos. Un olor fuerte a frutas tropicales, y mucha resina.

Kannabia Run – Strong Germination & Extra Space This Kannabia Seeds run is going great so far — excellent germination rates across the board. Big props to Kannabia for the seed quality 👏 At the same time, I’m running another grow from a different seed bank where germination didn’t go as planned. Because of that, there’s now extra space available, which means more room for Kannabia beans in this run. I decided to add extra Monkey Grease — a fast and vigorous strain that I believe fits perfectly with the quick pace of this grow. Strong growth, speed, and minimal stress are exactly what I’m aiming for here. Everything points toward a smooth, fast, stress-free run. Let’s go, Kannabia! 🌱🔥

Day 82 - Added a new nutrient to bulk up on PK from Canna. Guide says to do this only once, so fingers crossed. Still trying to figure out how close I am. I keep seeing other pictures of what look to be near leafless buds, and the buds look absolutely huge. The problem for me as a first time grower is that I cannot figure out what the scale is, and so have no idea if the photos I see are very close up or not. Also, I keep seeing others pictures of what look to be really extended and pointy buds, and mine look nothing like those either. Can't tell if it's the angle or the actual shape. I'm sure I'll learn, and I'm pretty sure I'm on the right track. Loving the learning though. Such fun. And macro photography is hard.

07/15/2025 Started veg week by transplanting an AK 2.0 into a 20 gallon fabric pot others will be going into 3 gallon nursery pot. The 20 gallon fabric pot is in second year of growing, is amended with Carbon G (Lesco) worm castings and other organic stuff I can't remember, (Coast of Maine Stonington Blend 5-2-4) plant food and top pot off with Coast of Maine Stonington Blend soil, but I want to make it a no till type bed. I've also been watering pots with BIO-REMEDY to insure plenty of microbial activity in plants root zone and nemetodes too! See ya next week.

May 26th After so many weeks of sitting around 69% relative humidity, I decided to look into how suboptimal that really is. Turns out, pretty suboptimal. That's danger-of-grey-mold territory. So I shelled out for an upgrade. We've gone from a 100mm 170m³/h extractor fan to a modern 150mm 587m³/h version. The difference was immediate, even running at 75% of its capacity. It was even cheaper than the original! Technology is advancing even if we're going backwards. The weight of some flowers have begun buckling their stems, so I've given them support using some wire on the scrog net. Bought a bigger watering can too, so I'm giving her around 11L~ (a full can) every three or four days as necessary. (update: since the change in RH and massive increase in ambient temps, it's 11L every 48 hours~ish) Her main cola is way too close to the light for comfort. If I could raise it I would, but we've been out of room for a while now. Astonishingly enough, no signs of stress as yet. Maybe some foxtailing? No discoloration. Smells lovely already, if I disturb her at all the air becomes a stage for subtle wafts of something heavenly lmao. Fingers crossed as always.
