1 week cure

I had a great feeling of accomplishment as I harvested Daphne today. She was the first plant I have brought to life in many years and I was impressed with how the A.B.L.E. Grow Chamber worked. I will let her dry out for a week then I will update more.......It has been a week and I am more than happy with her smoke. VERY SMOOTH no harshness. Great after taste. Even though she was a small plant she still did extremely well in all other factors,: great color, no disease, good tie down technique made for 6 tops with one main one. I will use a single 5 gal bucket for my hydro next grow to see if I get better root growth than with the 6 plant reservoir I used for this operation. The grow chamber allowed me to control the humidity, air temp, pH and PPM with relative ease. I am very happy with my first grow operation with the ABLE Grow Chamber and hope my diary was informative and entertaining for everyone. Main thing i did wrong was my fuck up with keeping the LED too close when she was a seedling. I had it at 10". (it was my 1st time w LEDs.) Secondly, I never got good root growth but not sure why. my theory is that light was seeping through the white plastic cover on the Rainforest 66 reservoir. The best thing I did was controlling all the factors needed to grow with my A.B.L.E Grow Chamber Prototype. It made great use of limited space and saved electricity with its low power usage. Look forward to using it one more time before we make the first salable model. 0

Orion F1 organic, dry amendments. The plant is really developing the flowers while they look really dense, and like they will be some very top shelf buds! The buds are beginning to stack on weight now, and hopefully, we'll just see the colas become larger and larger as we go on from here! I have gone through the tent this week, and I have removed a lot of the lower branches on the plants, as they're not going to grow into big colas or anything. So it's better not to waste the plant's energy, developing those to hopefully redirect it into the larger flowers. I'm really impressed with this plant so far, and the organic dry amendments are really working wonders, and that's been really eye-opening for me during this experiment! I'm very pleased that Royal Queen Seeds were kind. Enough to allow me to try this experiment with some of the F1 hybrid strains. It has been, and continues to be an extremely exciting experiment, and I am again learning more and more with each plant. I cannot wait for harvest and to see what these buds look like after I've dried and trimmed them! 3.8.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with; 💜 1ml Trace PH: 6.2 PPM: 371 I've just been keeping the medium, not bone dry, but there were some fungus gnats. So I have let it dry out more than I usually would probably, because I wanted to sprinkle some Diatomaceous Earth on the soil, and it only works when it's dry. 4.8.25: I watered with 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.6 with; 💜 3ml Ecothrive Trace 💜 1.25 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PH: 6.6 PPM: 385 I am going to top dress next week as I checked and it has been exactly a month since I last did one. So I decided to harvest her day 66... She probably could've handled a few days more, she wasn't yet yellowing from the bottom, but I'm too impatient and spotted a couple of amber trichomes developing already. Beautiful pink color started to pop through. Let's see how she dries. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Smoke Review: After a week of drying and two weeks of curing I can 100% say that I would love to grow Ztrawberries Auto again, but give her some training. It seems to me there's a big difference in taste and effects when given a proper two-week curing. She tastes really pleasant of strawberry chewing gum and sweet berries, she has no couch-lock effect on me and works well all day. Good girl.

so far so good, keeping up with the hydrogen peroxide water, mould on the surface of the soil is non existent now :) Lowered its concentration down a bit, was free eyeing it in the jug before guessing it was about 10ml @3% per Litre, put it down to about 5ml @3% per Litre. Reason was I noticed some unique burning on the leafs of one plant then started to see it on a second, figured it was a direct result of to much peroxide as it only started a few days after its first introduction. The burning seemed to look like what happens when water droplets magnify the suns rays on a leaf during a hot summer day, brown and dry crinkly spots, mainly on the top fan baby leaves. thought it could be the LED's but i have had plants growing 1" away from them and they don't burn like that. Funny thing happened as well where one plant lost some of its purpleness and another plant pick more purpleness up. Two of them are still green from day one, no sign of it turning anytime soon. green ones are in the back of the case, purpler ones in the front. Also decided to give it one more blast of Gaia Power Bloom, made a mistake on the first time I added this one, was only 30ml added per plant not 60ml, will go back and correct that now in the diary, wanted to match the 4-4-4 Gaia All Purpose input to the 2-8-4 Gaia Power Bloom. Had a fan malfunction, it use to keeping the tent as a steady 25c (77f), but when it broke temps went up to 35c (95f). I gave it a good hit and it started back up again. May die again before the grow is finished, not to worried about the increased temps if its only for part of a day. worst thing is it fully breaks and I prop the door open a bit. I feel autos do not like super hot or it can cause them to hermie or just stunt if its longer term. I think they do better in colder summer days in the 23c (73f) - 25c (77f) range, maybe a 28c (82f). but this may be more plant specific and have relation to its genetics. and with its higher temps I had to increase the watering for the day. got 50% more per plant per day. The smell is there but not over powering, I notice it after spending anytime out side of the apartment, but does not leak into the surrounding units or common areas. Had a plant from Royal Queen Seeds before "Fast Eddy" and it made my entire deck reek of skunky weed. It was only one little auto outside, would hate that inside. over all waiting for the buds to come into themselves more and get big, fat and sticky. Hoping this setup allows for that. Only time will tell or someone who really knows what they talking about could probably tell me right now lol :)

This week has been one of great gains in both size and vegetation we have seen a vertical leap in two plants that is astronomical almost 4 inches in a week! Had to do some pruning to expose new bud and a little bit of low stress training on to plants to see if we can expose light to the underside and perhaps get a little more love out of our lower buds The stalk size on almost all of these plants is almost as big as your thumb but on one it is actually relatively skinny that is the one we’re doing the low stress training on we just started the low stress training and it is taking very well to it One of these plants is extremely dark in color on the vegetation and has typically about 11 fingers per leaf! Not sure what that means yet

1- getting nice and thick with a stronger smell. Watered with flowering chemicals. Tent at 24.6°C and RH at 47% today Away for the weekend. Can’t wait to see how she will look when I get back 5- Came back to fairly dry soil and somehow forgot to turn my dehumidifier back on after emptying it. So the RH was at 77% when I got back. I got everything back within the range I want it now. 24.5°C and 46% RH. Watered plant with flowering nutrients. 7- Just amazed by how fast it grows. Seems like every time I look at it, it keeps getting thicker. I have some sort of fascination with the main cola. Just love taking pictures of it. I ordered a USB microscope that I should be getting today. Looking forward to see those trichomes magnified.

Week 2: Had some beautiful growth this week. I top dressed with Dragonfly Earth Medicine Nutrients.. Lush Roots, and Brilliant Black with some Earth Worm Castings Since things are taking off so well I went ahead and begun training. Just some LST bending it over so the lowers can share in some light. I will continue this process, trying to open up as many bud sites as possible.. Temps and humidity have stayed pretty consistent for now 78/52-56 (Day) and 70/55+(5) I will top dress once more before switching over to feeding teas. ( it is easier for ME to feed and adjust as I go.. Training sometimes makes it hard to get in and top dress.)

*Week 4 Flower 09/24* Both Mimosa girls appear to be running fine with Mimosa (1) running a little behind but is catching up accordingly. Small oversight in early growth resulted in a minor stunt but she is improving dramatically. Water Feed has increased by half a gallon ( 1gallon clean - .5 gallon nute feed) *Week 4 Flower 09/28 - Mid week update* Both plants are flowering accordingly - Mimosa (1) is a bit taller then Mimosa (2) Buds are becoming dense and covered in trichomes. No deficiencies - No areas of concern - Potassium and Phosphate feeds continue *Week 5 Flower end of week recap - 09/30* Both Mimosa's are flowering nicely - Budsites covered in frosty trichomes. Mimosa (2) looks shorter but that is because her COLA was tied down to expose bottom budsites.

3-11-2019 Into week 5 of flower and it's time for a change out of the Nutrients and add some Fresh RO water and Power To Bloom followed 4 days later with some UMP. She takes on a lot of feedings and running the RO water has been a daily task. She looks good and producing well. Buds have been close to the light with no burn so far, keep bending them down against their will every now and then.

3rd week started with The 1st topping and by pinning down the girls.

Start of a new week with plenty growth, she’s flying every day. Added pk half ml on top of 2ml feed every 4 days she will probably get 3 more doses of pk at 1ml providing she reacts to the small dose well The lower leaves that where slowly turning yellow shot to yellow almost overnight after giving her half a ml of pk. Buds are swelling up with rapid growth so I’m hoping she’s focusing more on flower as I have just gave her another dose 3 days later...

It's so crowded between the Z Up and Poundcake strains that it's just growing upwards. It'll produce such beautiful buds, but certainly not many.
