Tricky week. I've over complicated things by trying to incorporate CO2 into the grow. The main problem is the Airbomz unit is crap! 😂The timer seems to release CO2 at random intervals...I kept an eye on it and it sprayed anywhere between 1hr20 and 1hr50 with no kind of pattern...definitely not the regular 2hr interval I had selected. I'm switching to a mushroom bag, which will sit by my intake vent and flood the tent with CO2 night and day :) A much cheaper and simpler option! Advantage of this is that I can keep things simple with my ventilation. I've been switching on and off to allow CO2 to absorb, and the result is huge spikes in temp and humidity. I'm now extracting 24hrs a day and switching the intake fan on and off with the lights, and my temp and humidity has stabilised. However I'm still up at 70% all day and night....which seems a bit high! I'll have to keep an eye on it.

The buds are huge, absolutely covered in trichomes everywhere. This is the kind of strain I keep for special occasions only.🔥🔥

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plant. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more room for light. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there was a major change. New growth everywhere, colas started stretching upwards fast. It's like she already knows it's flowering time. Great reaction to the defoliation and 12/12 switch. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how she flowers. Stay safe!

🌿 Final Result 🌿 After weeks of watching Hokuzan develop, it's incredibly satisfying to finally see the finished flowers. The buds came out dense, extremely frosty, and beautifully colored, with deep purple tones hidden beneath a thick blanket of resin. Trimming revealed just how well this cultivar expresses itself, and the final bag appeal is exactly what I was hoping for. The aroma became even richer after drying, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it continues to evolve during the curing process. From start to finish, this was a smooth, healthy grow that rewarded me with beautiful flowers covered in trichomes. I'd definitely grow Hokuzan again. Well from day one it was evident that the sativa lineage was going to be a big factor in this ladies growth . She was a fast germinating lady and that gave me a plant which was really ensuing to blow up with growth both vertical and horizontal. The plant was put into a raised bed in the end and that have her roots the room needed to give my plant the boost it needs . The soil was garden soil with promix bx and added Mycorrhizae as well .The strain it's self was amazing with dense fat buds covered in trichomes that are all milky with small amber at week 7 flower .. The plants stretch period was about two weeks and if not for the taller plants shading her out this one would have been a monster .. I'm going to be putting another one outdoors next year of This strain it's just to terpy and pretty to not have again . Once it's all dried and cured I'll post some pictures and get a smoke report going so that the true magic of this strain can be explored .. Besides all of this I would suggest anyone to try the this seed brand they have awesome Genetics and are very good with customer support and shipping is always discreet and they take care of your needs .. check them out and see for yourself how good there strains are!!! Wow the smoke was so good these buds re drying up to dense buds that are covered in white fluffy trichomes that cover the whole bud and sugar leaves .. it's truly a tasty strain with the biggest head high but also not a crazy couch locker it's a solid mix for late afternoon night time . I smoked a bit of a tester branch and was so medicated I loved it .. will be going In to my garden next year as she is in my top 5 of strains I have grown now .. it's a very special lady with super strong smoke and very nice bag appeal . Don't sleep on this strain she is an original and won't be forgotten in my garden . Just wow makes me want to grow as many of their strains as I can . Next year is looking good all ready
