Here’s the update: She’s in week 8 of flower so far and a lot has happened since the last post. Since may 20th 2025, I noticed a small deficiency in the plant but couldn’t quite pin it down as to what it was, fast forward 10 days and I notice that she was getting more deficient and started to show more signs of what it was and once it was clear I ruled it out as a magnesium deficiency since I lacked any in my pot. I since grabbed some dolomite lime from Down To Earth (OMRI) and sprinkled 5 tablespoons into the top soil and watered with PH’d and dechlorinated water and worked it into the soil with the watering. It’s too soon to say it has any effects so far but I’m hoping my rookie mistake can be fixed. I do understand I am pretty late into flower for a top dress but the flowers look young still and could go for some more time but if I’m wrong please guide me the right way haha, also I did the top dress on June 4th 2025. First day of flower flip : April 11th 2025 Current date : June 5th 2025

Flushed my 3 Gallon pot on day 63. Day 65 pot is still heavy. I’m gonna give no more updates on the 5 Gallon, it just isn’t swelling I have lost all hope in being able to harvest it. As you can see from the video it’s a very bizzare pheno Day 67 Fed 5 liters of water and plan to harvest when pot is next dry. Couldn’t resist so cut and trimmed 1 little branch as gonna wait a few more days before harvesting the plant. It’s been drying for 2 days and as you can see I’m so very close to trying my first spliff.

8/23 - End of Week 3. Going to start some top feeding at like half strength for the Fox Farm Soil schedule in next few days. Drinking well and consistently from the self-watering bases. Bugs seem to be under control but will probably add some bits to the bases to make sure the gnats don't resurface. Stalk is strong and looking good and a good amount of new growth after taking some fan leaves off yesterday to "top". CO2 levels looking a little better, opened another vent in the tent. 8/22 - Adjusted light down to 80% after getting a lux meter and checking the intensity. Soil PH is slighly acidic at 6.1. Got some phUp and phDown but haven't adjusted yet. Trimmed top 4 fan leaves to stall out the top stalk and open up the bottom branches a bit. Added a mushroom exhale bag to increase co2 levels, were sitting around 500 ppm before I added. 8/21 - Still drying out the self-watering base a bit, will add water today. Sides of fabric pot still a bit wet to the touch but I think that's just the active wicking going on. Thought the initial canoe'ing leaves were from overwatering when overfilling the self-watering base but now I think it has more to do w/ some shock from the thrips and 24 hour light, or perhaps a bit of sunburn from being sprayed w/ the neem oil / bug killer. 8/16 - Had to fight off some thrips and still dialing in the tent conditions. Might be a little overwatered currently.

Nebenprojekt Erster Balkon Grow 2x Gorilla Auto von 420Fastbuds 2x 12l Stofftopf mit mineralischer Floragard Erde. Unser Balkon ist leider nur ein suboptimaler Standort für den Cannabisanbau. Es gibt kaum direktes Sonnenlicht. Trotzdem ist es der Einzige Ort wo ich mit Sonnenlicht Arbeiten kann. Dementsprechend gering waren meine Erwartungen. Es musste Katzensicher werden, daher das Mini-Gewächshaus (60x40x160cm) Ich habe eine Art Abluft Installiert. Um zumnindest die Luft zirkulieren lassen zu können. Hitze Stau gab es trotzdem. Bis zu 42° waren keine Seltenheit. Zusätzlich lag mein Fokus eher auf den Indoor Anbau. Deswegen wollte ich mal sehen was passiert wenn ich außer geißen, absolut nichts an Zeit reinstecke, Wärhend dem Grow. Es wird hier weder Trainiert oder vorgezogen oder gedüngt, noch sonst etwas gemacht. Und so endstand mein kleines Experiement mit dem Namen: Zero Maintenance Grow. Trotz diversen ungebetenen Gästen, wie Tripse, Gartenwanzen Spinnen und Mehrtau haben sie es bis ins Zeil geschafft. Viel, ist dabei nicht rumgekommen. Aber das war auch nicht das Primäre Ziel. Aber schön wers gewesen. Rückblickend wäre eine Indoor-Vorzucht in jedem Fall angebracht gewesen. Im Nächsten Jahr werde ich auf jeden Fall ein Paar Dinge anders/besser machen. Es hat auch wirklich Freude gemacht, mal zu sehen was passiert, wenn man es einfach laufen lässt.

Day 43. Girl is a bit droopy, just woke up ;) But she is picky. Looks like nitrogen excess is in the past, she is 57x57 cm square;))) hard to rotate. Had to lower her too ,most of all, she didnt liked it a lot ;) Now most branches are on wires, so i just reajust running ones to even canopy and tuck leaves. HUGE girl , great strain ! You need cheap light ? Check Mars Hydro TS1000 ! Happy Growing !!!

2 Girls 1 Cup week 10! Fuck yeah, the end is near. Can't wait to reset and put the new system in. Day 70- today marks the girls 10wk from breaking surface. Having the windows open on a rainy day is cranking up the RH. I just turned the A/C on shortly after snapping pics. Closing the windows and turning on A/C should bring humidity down. I may take GC (depending on tricomes) and make bubble out of it. Stabbing her multiple times got her hormones flowing. Still don't think it'll be mature enough at chopping day, but I'm trying to think positive. WG tricomes looking good. Up top we have a few amber, mid section they're 90% cloudy. I will try and take a pic with my scope. Tried once and i need another hand or two to make it easier. Picked a sample bud off WG's mid section. Mostly cloudy, few clear, few amber. It'll help with air flow right?? 🤣 *edit* A/C is on the fritz.. need to bring home a multimeter and diagnose. ======================================================================================================== Day 71- anything else want to break on me this week? Today my inline fan took a shit.. next day air a replacement, and hope the smell doesn't escape between now and then. Burning a little Nag Champa here and there for the time being. ======================================================================================================== Day 72- keep forgetting my DMM from work to diagnose the A/C. I'll remember one day, prob after WG is cut and hanging lol. Camera went offline for a period on day 71, so there's no timelapse of it. Have been thinking about ending it since there's no big changes daily like before. Didnt even set one for today. New inline fan installed at 6am this morning. I can tell ya after using two cheap ass fans that vivosun is louder than ipower. Both rated at 195cfm, but the new vivosun pushes MORE air from the outlet on the lowest setting compared to the ipower on high... going to have to figure out something for the noise though.. sounds like a jet engine. Lowered Temps during day and night is bringing back the terps! Both of the girls smell AMAZING. only checking tricomes daily on WG though. She determines chopping day. Mostly cloudy with equal number of clear/amber. Shooting for 50/50 cloudy/amber. Heady buds don't have any medicinal/psychoactive effect on me. Love the taste, but does nothing for my pain or insomnia. *edit* they're eating and drinking less by the day. Figure it's time to drill the girls. A few hours before lights out, late in their day. #7 drill bit right through their hearts 🤣. It sure did make GC ramp up when I stabbed it each of the 5 times. Bro Science may be onto something here... ======================================================================================================== Day 73- took another "sample" off WG. right side, if you scroll from 72/73 you'll see which one is missing. ======================================================================================================== Day 74- combination of cooler outside temps and the new inline fan have helped bring temps in the tent down. Daytime high 77F, night time low 66F. Nice swing and cool enough will hopefully bring out some purples, but not really pressed if it doesn't. The SMELL is what I wanted back, and I got it!! Not baking the girls in the low to mid 80's anymore is really helping. Dropped the TDS from 950's to 750's since TDS was slightly rising and PH dropping. Indicating too many nutes. I hung the "sample" in the outlet duct to speed dry it yesterday. Still damp, but tried anyway. This is gonna be some good bud, if I don't fuck it up that is.. need to grab a tricome pic for the diary. ======================================================================================================== Day 75- EC still rising and PH dropping.. took 8L out and added 8L bubbled/PHd TAP. Dropped RES from 668 to 365 @ 5.9. WG is looking great. Can't say the same for GC 🤣. I can't let my mistakes ruin GC rep though. It's my fault she's not making it to the finish line smiling. ======================================================================================================== Day 76- EC still climbing slightly and PH still dropping slightly as well. Went ahead and drained the RES, and flushed the WaterFarm with bubbled PHd TAP @ 132ppm. Tried to rinse some of the excessive salt buildup accumulated over the duration of the grow. Filled RES with PHd RO. Haven't been able to completely drain the WaterFarm since before the side RES was installed. So there's always a bit left over. Only took 4.2gal to fill her up. Can't wait to take a pic of the root mass below. Currently sitting at 80ppm @ 5.91. Days are numbered... watching tricomes up top, in mid, and down low for maturing. Tops 5-10% amber, mids 1-5% amber, down low still 10% clear. Bonjour à tous les padawans et maîtres jedis jour84 arrosage avec 25 centilitres d'eau ph6.3 Jour87 arrosage avec 30 centilitres d'eau ph6.3 Jour88 pratique de la techniques du tronc fendu (videos explicatives) et arrosage avec 20 centilitres d'eau ph6.3 COMMENT FENDRE LES TIGES DE VOTRE PLANT DE CANNABIS Pour fendre les tiges de votre plant de cannabis, il vous faudra : Une lame propre et aiguisée (une lame de cutter fonctionne bien) Un mètre ruban Une ficelle ou un adhésif pour marquer les coupures que vous ferez le long de la tige Un crayon, une baguette ou une brochette pour séparer la tige une fois fendue 1. Tout d'abord, commencez par mesurer la partie de la tige que vous allez fendre. Il faut faire une incision d'environ 10–20 cm juste sous la branche la plus basse de votre plant. Utilisez un ruban adhésif ou de la ficelle pour marquer le début et la fin de l'incision. 2. Ensuite, prenez votre lame et faites une incision en travers de la tige, en commençant par le haut. Attention à faire une coupe propre, jusqu'au centre de la tige. 3. Utilisez votre lame pour tailler en descendant vers le bas, jusqu'à la marque inférieure de la mesure que vous avez prise auparavant. Essayez de tailler aussi droit que possible. QUELS SONT LES RISQUES À FENDRE LES TIGES ? Fendre les tiges est une technique à stress élevé très agressive que nous ne recommandons qu'aux cultivateurs expérimentés. Nous ne recommandons également pas de fendre les tiges sur les variétés à autofloraison, car cela peut être bien trop intense pour elles. FENDRE LES TIGES, ÇA MARCHE VRAIMENT ? Il existe un solide ensemble de cultivateurs expérimentés qui déclarent que le fait de fendre les tiges peut produire de bons résultats. Malheureusement, peu de données qualitatives le prouvent. Cependant, il semble que la fente des tiges soit originaire des Pays-Bas, où elle est pratiquée par des cultivateurs néerlandais experts depuis les années 1970.
