What’s up fellow Growmies! Got another exciting strain from Canuk Seeds... Cement Shoes! Yep, gonna be sleeping with the fishes. Lol First time trying this strain but so far it’s been a breeze. I kinda took a break from documenting my grows because life got a bit hectic for a bit their, but I’m back and got some more great strains lined up for the future. Gonna try and do an outdoor RDWC setup this summer so stay tuned, gonna be some monsters hopefully! I’ve never seen it done really and I have a few ideas...lol but anyway, back the the cement shoes. So I started them awhile back(not exactly sure when) in my smaller tent(3x4) under a single 1200w King LED grow light. They spent about 2 months in this tent in 3 gal DWC buckets until they outgrew the buckets and tent and need to be moved. Up until this point they were kinda just on auto pilot in the background of my other larger tents. But I was planning on reducing my plant count in my larger 4x8 tents so I decided to go from 4 plants per tent to 2 plants per tent, so we needed some big girls to fill these tents. Lol they were topped at 3-4th node and just let them go from there. They ended up being about 3 feet tall above the 1ft tall buckets. Moved them over too one of my bigger 4x8 tents and added a screen very carefully and ScrOG’d them out. Still waiting on my new Eye HPS Bulb so they are still currently under my 1000w MH. I’ll post all the pics I can find in this weeks log from the veg time and they are about 2 weeks into flower now so I’ll snap some flower pics soon and continue from there. So far 2 plants vegged a bit longer are filling the shoes of 4 plants no problem. Having more space means I also have not had to really defoliate at all. Well that’s it so far, stay tuned for more! Green crack is looking stunning coming down the home stretch now . Same same this week then I’ll taper off the nutes into a flush next week . 2 weeks to the chop . I’ve been smoking a bit of this , it’s sensational.

It’s the first week of flower!! I’ve been having troubles with knowing where to foliate and direct the growth with these plants. As 2 seem to be growing faster than the other 2! Over all looking good I think.

It was a longer road until here. With all the reading I did I still made rookie mistakes. To much nutrients and to much light stunt my plant and created some deficiencies ( CaMg). Hopefully I will do ok from now on.... Lifted the light at 3 feet on 100% power and decreased the PPM’s to 600. Hopefully that will help and I did not create to much damage. Wish me luck. I invested a lot of time and money on this grow but the experience is not there yet. I’m ok with what it is, I’ve learned a lot from this grow.

Sobald die Witterung es zuläßt, sollen die Pflanzen an die frische Luft. Es ist schon eine Weile her, das der Grow losging, die Bilder sind jetzt aktuell. Tag 211: Für heute waren 20°C vorhergesagt, tatsächlich steckt die Sonne hinter dickem Hochnebel und es sind gerade mal 14°C. Heute Nacht geht's mit 2 °C Richtung Gefrierpunkt. Alle drei Ladies purpeln im Laub. Sie bekommen nur noch pures Brunnenwasser. Der abgebrochene Ast der Special Kush ist wieder komplett angewachsen. Wenn's dir gefallen hat, schau wieder vorbei ✌️😎

Gave each medium around 15L water flushing, Will continue to give only water for the next 14 days or so. Flush began 30tht August.

Week 3 of flower, can see already some nice bud production. Terpenes are building up and making the room stink, has a dark berry chocolatety gassy og smell to it, just how I remember choc mint. The bud structure isn't exactly what I was hoping for but cant complain! Was a free seed sent to me after months of searching for the strain at a time before the v2 was a thing. Buds will be going through the trim bag at harvest so will probs give them more a uniform look to them.

Hi everyone . That was the last week, because it is very ripe and doesn't do anything anymore :-). Unfortunately, as expected, it will not exploit the giant, because I did not feed enough in weeks 3-6 🤦‍♂️🏻😂. Unfortunately, this happened because I was very busy and stressed, etc. :-) But half as wild, but the quality was sensational 😍👍. From morgeb onwards, the last time you get fresh water is set at 0.4 Ec for the next 5 days, because it is then harvested 😎👏🏻. I usually clean the system after one day and immediately insert new cuttings. I have not cut any because I am currently considering which mum cuttings come in this time. Either again the same Blue Gelato 41 Pheno from Barney's Farm, or the Gelato from Zamnesia. The blue gelato I could cut my 8 directly, with the gealto I would have to wait 3-4 weeks, that's the problem. I will decide spontaneously the days 👍. This strain was only topped in early veg and trained a little bit with LST. After 5 weeks of veg i removed the LST cords and just let her go and what a bush she was, very fat dense heads everywhere, bottom buds also rockhard. I used no boosters just organic nutrients from start to finish in pure coco

Finally harvest time arrived 🤗 It’s been a great run, though I had to improve a lot along the way. But as usual there was a way to get things done and finished up😎 After a long heatwave I decided to chop the whole tent, just a bit before I actually wanted to. But I see amber trichomes and heavy buds, so I think it’s safe to chop now, so here we go. 🤩 Can’t wait to taste this after so long watching over it🤤 More details to come.

Feeding 850ppm every 2 days runoff @700ppm

Week 6 of flowering 10/23/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 6 Buds are getting even bigger and thicker. Defoliated a little. Noticed a PH of 4.8 in runoff, same as the late stage of flower in my previous grow. After lowering feed EC, CalMag on max strength, flushing with 0.8ec nutes for 3 days in a row, nothing changed and PH stayed the same. Read in a forum thread about constant low PH in the rootzone when growing in coco. Got great info about CEC, water, nutrients and little chemistry from a detailed explanation. (https://www.icmag.com/threads/recurring-problem-with-low-ph-in-coco.338385/page-2#post-10843765) Flushed plants with tap water + calmag, PH 6.5. Used 120L total for 4 plants in 2 days. 1st day: flushed after lights on, did not water until 2 hours before lights off and flushed again. Runoff PH went up a little, but not to the correct range. 2nd day: flushed after lights on and checked runoff EC + PH, of each plant. Fortunately, PH got corrected to 5.8, and I returned to automatic watering 4 times a day (with 10%-20% runoff). Thoughts: In the last grow, I thought I had a problem because of salts buildup in the media with constantly low PH in late flower. I didn't fully correct the problem till chop day. Same problem here in the same stage of flower without the salt buildup. After reading every forum I could find about the problem, I understood that my bloom nutes were the main problem because of their chemical composition. The coco ability to exchange ions lead to the low PH in the rootzone. It got worse quickly because I did not use any tap water with the feedings, so the PH could swing easily and drastically without resistance. After I looked online for the T.A. feeding chart, I saw they used TriPart Grow till week 7 of flower, the Nitrogen type they are using will up the PH. CocoForCannabis chart that I'm using, has not enough nitrogen to combat the bloom nutes PH down effect in flower. It gets even worse with RO water because there are no minerals that can resist PH down. Now I'm using 30% tap water with rest RO water, T.A. TriPart feeding chart with calmag and silica. Hopefully I have corrected the problem for the rest of the grow. It wasn't easy, because there were lots of variables that worsened the problem quickly. Now I'm checking runoff PH and EC daily. Update on next week :)

Good growth, Blueberry powering through cal mag issue. Skywalker will be first to harvest for sure. Insane amount of frost on that plant. Glueberry og continues to require fairly frequent defoliations to open up canopy. Blueberry starting to get some subtle berry coming through.

I started germination of 3 Gorilla Girl beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my experience with Gorilla Girl. I've only grown this variety out once. Did her in a 1 gallon SOG grow and she was a beast! Fat Chunky main cola just loaded to the tits in trichomes. Amazing bud structre and a definite cut above alot of the genetics flooding the market. I cant wait to let this variety loose in a larger scale grow. See what these powerhouse genetics really have to offer. Haven't grown out much sweet seeds stuff. But what I did test drive got there genetics into a larger setup. So caps off to them.
