FBA2502 Week 3 April 13-19 Veg 2 This week I introduced nutrients to the watering schedule. My planned feed schedule will be to feed, feed, water each week until the time to flush. , adjusting nutrients per the growth cycle. Hopefully this will keep from overfeeding and reduce salt build up in the soil. Nutrients: I will be using General Hydroponics Flora line at ½ feed rate and Cal mag throughout this grow. My tap water measures 8.3-8.5 so even after adding nutrients, I have to PH down my feed solution. Regarding nutrients, I’ve tried Fox Farm, TPS1, Plagron and now General Hydroponics. What I am looking for is organic, ease of use, minimal individual bottles that will yield large, dense sticky buds that hit hard in effect. Plants range in height from 5-7” except #1 which has been pinned to the soil. I will try wrapping her around the perimeter of the pot. Since she leaned over, I pinned her down and have been anchoring along the rim, twisting the stem so the node is on the side or top rather than underneath. I don’t think she likes training since the stems are a bit floppy. They are all still in veg, bushy with large indica leaves. I’ve been tucking the large leaves under the bud sites to give more light under the canopy. I’m tempted to top one of the bigger plants to have a comparison on resistance and final yield. This week I made a short video for each 2502 tester and a pic or 2. GH Flora Micro ½ tsp /gal Gro ½ tsp /gal Bloom ½ tsp /gal Fox CalMag ½ tsp /gal PPM 573 & 715 when I added Plagrons Royal Rush 4ml. Today is week nine 60 days flower. This is super exciting! I have been trying not to stress cause even tho the bottled nutrients give you the feeding schedules your plant reacts to said nutrients one ways or another. I am excitied beacuse I am learning about mychrozia, beneficial bactiera how they coenside with each other and can replace fertilizer etc but thats a whole worm whole haha I have been giving this plant, flawless finish, and bud candy these last few days. How ever now I am giving her just water. Ph irrated always! MUch love lets root her on too the finish! Few More weeks LETS GO GUAVA she is smelling so so so fruity berries melons and sweet lets go

----- WEEK 9 ----- ----- Day 57 ----- Easy day of watching. Just 1 pic today so far. not much reason to go downstairs to take a pic yet. Glookies is turning Purple on sugar and fan leaves now. Harvest is very soon. I'd wager within 7 days now just going to depend on the High I get off tester nugs. ***Update*** I destroyed the trellis and took em out for some pics and vids. Trichs = Tropicana is ready Tuesday, Wedding Cake probably Friday or within that weekend. ----- Day 58 ----- Last couple days. Fed about 30ml of Cal/Mag and 30ml of Molasses. Wanted to just keep the photosynthesis process and the plant in general alive for reveg. Was getting a bit too yellow for my liking. Harvest soon. ----- Day 59 ----- Harvested Tropicanna Glookies today Deleted this week by accident trying to make it a harvest week, so remade it. Will add harvest week once plants are dry and tester has been smoked to give proper info Put some more photos in. Basically the tent is 4 feet wide and the ruler is 12 inches long from bottom of duct tape Really loving the colors of this plant. ------ Day 60 ----- Fed only the Wedding Cake - 5-10ml of Calimagic and 20ml of molasses (NO Liter level marked or PPM or PH, i could cut today its done but im just maturing the trichs) Tropicanna Glookies is a friggin BEAUTIFUL strain. Moved the Wedding Cake in the tent so largest nugs are furthest away from light and dropped light from 1000w to 600w to save electricity Chop on Wedding Cake happens at mostly amber trichs. Prob 5-6 days max for that i'll know when I check trichs tonight and update with photo. ----- Day 61 ----- Wedding Cake is about 5% amber... so prob 6 days or so. Slow day today. ----- Day 62 ----- Feeding is today, going to just use some CaliMagic and Molasses again. Trichs aren't golden yet, so not chop time ... 8-9 weeks is what it is supposed to take, but it's got at least another 5-8+ days until 30-40% amber trichs for Indica couch-lock effect to shine in the Wedding Cake. Tropicanna could still be going right now, but I did not want more than 5-10% amber gold trichs to prevent a couch-lock effect. This has worked very well. On day 64 I will post a smoke report and full harvest/trim details as Saturday/Sunday is trimming. Will have dry weight results of Tropicanna (per plant, and as a whole). Tropicanna being sent to lab for full analysis will post results when they arrive (Usually 2-3 weeks after sending sample via mail) ------ Day 63 ------ Nothing to talk about today, slow day. almost done. *Update* 1 pic, i think it explains everything.

Day 15 fed enhancer

Ok so I put a significant amount of time into this grow. Learned a ton (everything lol) as it was my first. After the final week, I decided to harvest when the trichs were milky and clear. Few amber here and there but time constraints meant I had to chop a bit earlier than I’d have preferred. I do prefer a more uplifting cerebral effect yet realize with an indica leaning strain, having all cloudy and maybe 25% amber would have been 👌🏼. My drying process began by chopping a plant at a time, I washed the buds to get the PM or traces off (also grime from outdoor city air). I used a big bucket and did hydrogen peroxide. In heindsight I would have used baking soda as well and did a two step wash. After washing them, I hung to dry with a fan until they stopped dripping then into the tent they went for drying at roughly 68 degrees and 55% humidity. I staggered the harvest and wet trimmed about 70% of the time with the latter 30% dry trimmed. This was done for convenience and to try both ways. I dried everything for about 12-13 days until the smallest stems snapped and the larger ones were borderline cracking. I started jarring everything with humidity meters, about a half oz per smaller widemiuth jam jar. The smell was never hay-like but did vary in strength and scent from plant to plant. Almost no seeds which was pretty great to see. One of the outdoor plants had quite a few seeds so I kept that separate. It ironically had the stinkiest floral smell. So what’s the total!! After curing in jars for about a month, I weighted everything and came out with 10.5oz of cured trimmed flower and about 2 oz of sugar leaf trim which I am making canna butter with and cooking. Made some reduculously strong cookies: 11 cookies from about 10 grams of trim. Ate two and was medicated for about 24hrs 😂. Some of the buds were super dense and cured down to 58 RH easily. There were a few of the large big buds that had mass but less density and fewer trichomes. These were more red-hair visually than the others. The smoke: surprisingly smooth. The effect is energizing and uplifting at first, with a nice sedative body feeling on the second half of things. Overall, I’m super happy with the result. Learned a TON and will be modifying my approach a bit next go-around this spring. Stay tuned!!!

So we did some defoliation (finally 😂) of the ladies. killed a few brown stink bugs and a couple caterpillars. Getting them ready for next month when time while start to wind back down to 12 hours a day.

Lots of training and defoliating today. Trying to let each plant do it's own thing. White Widow is very squat even though she's not topped. OK after no updates for three weeks I've finally caught up and we are all. back on track. Next update 26th May.

I was pleased with the overall outcome of this grow. These weren't huge plants but I didn't expect them to be, I was pleased with the look, flavor and overall presentation. I feel like I have a lot of learn about the best techniques on curing and storage but I continue to develop strategies.
