Week 18 Daylight 12h40 - ☀️7h40/20h20🌙 🌈Weather changed a lot during this 2 week, alternating sun and rain with medium temperature: low in the morning 8°C and 22/24°C the afternoon. Cold wind: Autumn is coming soon! 🍃 This is the middle of the flowering cycle for 2 plants and the beginning for the others; and it’s harder than I imagined. Interminable war against pests: caterpillars and leafminer flies (+ guest :aphids). However the environment is clean, there is some sticky traps, ventilation and preventives treatments (Neem Oil, Garlic/Laurel) but infestation are a recurring problem 😩. Majors reasons of the proliferation are the hot temperatures in greenhouse, the quasi inexistants natural predators, humidity, plants proximity. September is the reproduction period of the cabbage looper: a butterfly which lays eggs on plants giving some hungry caterpillars. Some others pests are attracted by the nitrogen added in soil (batguano) I did a serious defoliation, continue to check the plants morning and night to catch intruders, sprayed regularly with Neem oil. For the moment the flowering continues. -Brake Pad Breath: plant has definitely changed of physiognomy, branches are covered by a lots of resinous flowers with a pretty good smell. Indica dominance. Around 3 or 4 weeks till the harvest. It will be long: the plant is a victim of pests and caterpillars and lots of leaves are damaged. -Flash Back#2: elegant plant, pretty good flowering since 3 weeks. Globally healthy despite of the pests aggression. Sativa dominance with long internodes distance and a vigorous stretch. -GMO x Zombie Kush: same difficulties against predators, late flowering, just initiated the flowering process but in a good way. -Royal Moby: the tallest one; around 170cm, not really adapted to dimensions of the growing space and not discrete. Plants was really shocked during the first wave of pests and after the sunburn. So i hatvested them on day 80, they got 24h of light before harvest. I removed all fan leafes with no to verry little trichomes visible. Both plants are now drying by ca. 21°C and 57% humidity. This time i will dry them with lights on to be more efficient with my growing cycles. ( i think they will get at least 2-4 days darkness before the new seedlings move in the box )

Last week of flowering is behind us and today I harvested. Since I barely defoliated my plants I had quite a bit of leaves to remove. I hung them up to dry in a dark growtent with light airflow. Expect a Harvest report in about two weeks

HARVEST DAY! 162 days after the sprout, and 117 days after the switch. It makes almost 6 months!! What a never-ending journey! I chopped down the princess and decided to place the colas on the usual hanging net without trimming them directly. I just couldn't. Every cola requires at least 30-40 mins to be trimmed properly. I got something like 50 or 60 colas in total. It's a total pain in the ass believe me!!! There are layers consisting in calyx, leaf, calyx, leaf, and so on. You basically need to work between every couple of small calyxes in order to remove the leaf in the middle, while being very careful to not cut down everything. It's insane!!!!!! So.... just wait a little more for the final harvest and the smoke report. They will come, but definitely not now! In the meantime I uploaded some harvest photos and videos. ;-) See you soon!!!

It was my first grow and I really screwed it up a lot, but it resisted all my beginner mistakes, pests, stress, being without irrigation, irrigation without measuring PH, revegetation, etc. I love her, really, in love with this strain. Loved growing this for my first plant it impressed me throughout and was all worth it the buds taste great, not the biggest as I made a few mistakes throughout but the quality is definitely there, excellent flavours now cured will definitely grow this again with a few changes love it!

Well here she is and she has been loving it in here for the last three weeks .. prior to that is was very up and down from a while because of heat and cold issues but I've moved the whole set up to a new location and the environmental issues have been solved with their new home I'm excited to start this next run and may run this lady again she smells so dam different ...

I've brought the PPM down again and kept the pH at 5.7-5.8, plant looks great first grow so very happy, Alot of Trichomes and don't know if I should be getting ready to flush and harvest, buds still getting fatter and she's still thirsty and drinking water but a lot of amber pistils and not sure if the crystals are clear or Milky but plant looks Great, just unsure when to harvest, I've reduced nutes a little more and calyxs still fattening up, gonna hopefully start flushing at end of this week for about 2-3 days in my 4gallon bucket

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Very happy to be growing this one. It’s one of the newer strains from Buddha Seeds.

On the final few days of a 10 day flush. Will be chopping down this week to harvest and hang dry. Really excited to try this one. The smells in the room are unreal.

This week, we had a lot of filling out. Violet doesn't seem to grow as tall as wide! The leaves are so pretty, it's heartbreaking to cut them. 9/13 day 37 I thought I started noticing yesterday, but today, Violet quite obviously has red hairs! Hard to notice at a distance, up close, most of the buds have definite red hairs that match my own. Happy about her recent feeding, her luster is returning, and she's more and more full every day. 9/15 day 39 Every day is crazy hair day around this camp, and Violet always shows out with her long, white pistils. Over the last couple of days, the red hairs have been drowned out by more long whites, though I don't know why the back and forth. She is still getting very droopy kind of early, and no light adjustment seems to alleviate this. I've been reluctant to turn the light up to a proper level for flower so far because of it. Can not enough light cause similar symptoms? Every couple of days, I remove a leaf or two, do some tucking to uncover bud tops, and add or adjust LST. Getting wider than taller, she's really started to fill up the cabinet! 9/17 day 41 I take Violet out of the cabinet for what will probably be one of the last times, if not the very last. One fault of our cabinet is the narrow doorway, which we probably need to widen out at some point. Her layers are so well-defined and even, it is easy to see the separate tiers when looking at her straight on. I take off four big, sexy leaves, two of them the remaining original big fan leaves from the first nodes. There are still a couple more that need to come off the very top, but I can do those later, and I don't want to shock her too much at once. I also water 1gal today, enough to barely run out to preserve those nutes from last week's feeding. She looks very tired and sad as I tuck her back into the cabinet. Hopefully she will recover for morning pics. 9/18 day 42 Violet is slow to wake today. I have to detangle all her little leaves every morning, and today is extra. I'm going to adjust her light today. I've been waiting for her to not be so droopy at night, but we're going to see if it maybe helps instead of hurts. I do a moderate raise to 750 PPFD, about 45 DLI, to see how it goes. I also notice the return of the red hairs this morning! Unfortunately, there is no smell whatsoever yet, other than plant. Everyone who sees her says how healthy she looks. Anything that was appearing as light tips has filled out with color, and the beautiful blue-green leaves are full and lush. If everything I've read about this strain is true, we should only have a few weeks left with this plant, and the buds look like they're going to be nicely formed if we stay on course. I have so much hope for Violet's harvest!

8/30 Rained yesterday and pretty much all night. Plants looked happy this morning. I'm thinking about feeding today or tomorrow. The late flowering special kush doesn't have much longer and it will be done. I'm going to need to do another treatment for the thrips. Nights are so cold that I think they aren't a major problem. No signs of septoria either. No signs of ANY molds or mildew. Even where I took the pillar out but I removed a lot. I am noticing (especially on the pink kush and the special kush in the back) the wierd "top hat" lower buds like I previously did. I don't think it's the chipmunk. It's like they eat fresh buds and leave the top there. I think it might be earwigs but I haven't seen ANY. Birds have been keeping my garden pretty clean. Almost everytime I walk down there it's like a flock of birds takes off lol. I was watching the little finches all perched on my cage. I've seen them dart in and grab a snack. It's pretty cool how it works. Symbiotic relationship. I feed the birds amd they help keep my garden pest free. EDIT: Went to check the girls around 430. It seems like everytime I see the flowers they've swelled in size. Especially the natural mk ultra. Everything is really coming together. Pink kush is behind but it's starting. I'm getting lots of fall colors but I'm losing lots of leaves too. I wouldn't have defoliated as good as I have if I hadn't had problems. I thought the plants were done getting taller or stretching but after this rain they ALL seem taller. The buds are swelling as well. I'm on the home stretch with the early special kush. Few more weeks. Everything looked amazing tonight. I wanted to take some pictures but I left my phone. Smell is greatly increasing. 8/31 I don't get how we got NO rain the ENTIRE summer but it's rained the past few nights? Maines bipolar weather I guess. I see the same shit as prior years. Something crawls up and eats small shoots and developing buds but leaves larger ones alone. I thought it was earwigs before. I'm not sure now. I'll have to go look at night and figure out what's eating shit. It's just small secondary shoots mostly. Stuff I should've pruned but I leave on so the won't eat my fucking colas. I got some work to do but I'm getting closer. 9/1 Well we made it to September. Pink kush is finally STARTING to form little buds. After some research (and watching those fucking locusts try to fly into my cage but can't because they are to fucking big. I was lucky I found that enormous one on the stalk of the furthest special kush right where the tip cola starts. Luckily I was able to get him. Didn't have to take pics or a video or even check if they need water. It rained a little last night and the buds were a little wet. I'm planning to feed when I get back. If they need water I'll give it to them. My early special kush is getting real close. I want to harvest at peak timing but sometimes exigent circumstances screw that up. However i think I'll be able to let this girl finish properly. EDIT: Went back over to check weights and everything was super heavy. Plants are all turning fall colors. I checked the trichs on my special kush, mk ultra and 10th planet. Everything looked great in the sun! Everything is swelling and getting frostier everyday. I'm hoping that the pink kushs will finish. My early special kush LOOKS like it should be done but it's not. Looking at the trichs and stigmas it needs more time. I've found on several plants that between the; giant caterpillars, earwigs and pillars that they can take a whole branch and pretty much decimate it in a night. I chased one of those giant locusts around my Cafe and it finally got out. Bastard was almost the size of a small bird! I should feed tonight and possibly do a treatment for pests. 9/2 Had to shake to plants off again. Bags are still heavy. I'll probably feed tonight. I'm noticing tons of damage on lower and interior branches. The grasshoppers or locusts or whatever they are can strip a whole branch! They can even bite through little stems. I'll never grow outside without floating row covers again. The special kush is getting really close. Sometime this week I'll look for a mature tester bud. Both MK ULTRAS are exploding in flower and getting frostier daily.

This will be the last week of veggie for the girls. I'll be switching them over this weekend to their flowering schedule. I noticed that some of the newer leaves on the top are lighter than the other leaves, they are yellowish. I added some calmag to their diet because I realized I'd never given them any. I'll be monitoring that to make sure it doesn't get worse. Overall... color me HAPPY heheheee 😃

This strain was a pleasure to grow. No problems presented at all. She is very stress resistant and has some unique structural formations. She smells like a variety of citrus flavors when grown but after being harvested she smells exactly like an orange grove.
