Dec. 13 - start of week 11 and all's well into the flip to flower. Clipped 'er out real good twice but there's no stopping these girls. Probably looking at some serious pruning over the next 2 weeks. We'll keep it light but regular and with luck, it'll be a perfect mix between max photo synth. and energy allocation. This grow is going to be nute sched. heavy and will hopefully test the limits of my smaller grow space (2sq/ft). Gorilla Jealousy F1 is making progress. She is just shaking off the stress of 2 neem oil treatments. I have not seen any signs on her. She was just in same area. So it had to be done to try to solve it. I dunno if it is solved yet. I am watching and still looking to find whatever it is. That's all that is really going on. 2024-07-23 A few months ago, I germinated three opium poppy seeds. Each seedling was given a different setup: 1. Outdorgrow in a 30L container 2. Outdoorgrow in a 75L container 3. Indoorgrow in a 30L Airpot This post focuses on the indoor plant, which was trained using various techniques such as mainlining, topping, LST (Low Stress Training), and some supercropping. The indoor plant thrived from the beginning, showing vigorous and healthy growth. It responded well to training, consistently displaying a robust appearance. Its growth seemed effortless, requiring only adequate water and minimal nutrients. Training began with topping and continued for 9 weeks during the vegetation phase. The main technique used was mainlining, shaping the plant into a circle using pipe cleaners. The plant's soft stems and branches made it easy to train without causing stress. After 9 weeks of vegetative growth and training, I was satisfied with the result and initiated the flowering phase. The plant continued to flourish, primarily needing water and care. Only a few NPK feedings were necessary, but it received many beneficial supplements with watering. The growing medium used was Terra Preta MJ-Mix, and I applied a mycorrhizal inoculant called DYNOMYCO. This significantly enhanced root development and nutrient breakdown. Essentially, And i applied aTodpressing with Insectfrass, so they stayed lovely green. I was feeding the microorganisms in the Terra Preta mix, which in turn kept the plant healthy. The plant developed beautiful colas while maintaining its circular shape. Harvesting was straightforward. The aroma was fruity (reminiscent of apricot) with a strong, gassy undertone. The buds are currently curing. I've taken photographs of the plant's "skeleton" and some pre-cured buds, showcasing the impressive trichome development. This week has been great.I'm glad that I was able to pull the plant when I needed to. The weather out here isn't always the best coming towards the end of October. How ever i handle it the best we can. What ive learned to do is wet trim before hang dry. Heres some phots of these glossing nugs. Iknkw ill lose a bitin water weight but im happy none the less. Fire 🔥 This has been a great grow, I learned a lot from Growing out here in new mexico. It was amazing to be able to train these plants 4 into one using training techniques. LST, HST, Defolation & topping all play a roll. It is fun to learn and sharpen my skills. I hope everyone enjoys my diary. Thank you so much Divine seeds.
