Week 6 flower, half way there! Buds are starting to fill in now and getting some decent frost. A couple of tops are getting more light than others, and fattening a bit more and looking real nice. It looks like there is some purple starting to come out at the tops. She is strong and will go as fast as the soil and environmental conditions will allow her to. Hand watered in Gaia Green Soluble Seaweed Extract 0-0-17, otherwise water drip is running on same schedule. Just using straight tap water that sits in a 30 gallon reservoir with a submergible water pump running 24/7 breaking surface and aerating water. Water comes out the tap @ 7ph and less than 15ppm. So I don’t do nothing to it, I drink it:) Thanks for the view 🤜 Have a great week!

Always a huge yielded and a heavy hitter. Name is true to the effect. A little tough to get back ahead if you get deficient so remember she eats a lot. My favorite strain, have had the cut for over 2 years.

Dear Growmies, With week 13 upon us, the journey with our plant enters an exciting new phase. The dance of the buds stretching around the colas has come to a natural pause, ushering us into the swelling stage. Each day, we're greeted by buds that are increasingly plump, a clear indication that they're on the right track. As they swell, our plant is starting to exude a sophisticated sweet lemon aroma that fills the air and promises a sensory delight. It's a fragrance that speaks to the complexity of her development and the nuanced profile we can anticipate. Notably, some leaves in the lower canopy are beginning to wilt, a process I view as normal age-related defoliation. It's a natural part of the lifecycle, as the plant focuses her energy on the swelling buds. In our efforts to optimize her environment, the GCX 9 lighting is now set to 100% flower spectrum and 75% veg spectrum. I'm carefully pushing the limits to provide maximum light without imposing stress or damage to our plant. This stage requires a delicate balance, pushing for maximum growth while maintaining the health and well-being of the plant. I As we watch the buds swell and smell the sweet lemon fragrance developing, it's a moment to reflect on the journey thus far and the growth we've fostered together. Let's continue this care and attentiveness into the next week, ensuring that our plant not only grows but thrives.

I absolutely fall in love with Gorilla Strawberry! Amazing strain ! I see 5-6 phenotypes 1. Is small indica dominant with very fast flowering 2. is dark purple I have never grown a strain with such a beautiful dark purple my favorite 3 is very resinous with big buds and looks like the main photo of Gorilla Strawberry on fast buds web site 4 Is with bright pink pistils 5. Smaller plant with very thin sativa leaves and very thick main cola 6 is a giant sativa dominant with very broad branching, which is just starting to throw flowers and I guess it will grow for at least 11 weeks Compared to Gorilla Zkytllez seems to me Genetics is a bit volatile However, they have one thing in common with a crazy amount of resin and a wonderful sweet fruity scent. I can not stop sniffing buds very pleasant smell I feel like a junkie :D I could sniff this all day But there is one minor problem for me . While one phenotype begins to bloom and needs Bud Ignitor for a larger number of flowering sites, another could be ready in about 2 weeks and needs overdrive to compaction the flower... When I compare phenotype number 1 and phenotype number 6 looks like a completely different strain, the only thing they have together is a large amount of resin and a wonderful smell. But that's just a problem with my growing style, because I mix fertilizers in a big bucket for all plants equally and I don't have time to mix for each one separately Finally, there is a photo of a thick stem that I probably burned when watering with fertilizer

Day 57 26/08/24 Monday Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. No plagron products as noticed burning again. (I think I'll do a run using advanced. And Plagron. Just to see what's different. ) There all showing great progress!! Divine seeds - auto Overdose, the main bud is so compact and dominant it looks great! Defoliation of lower two fans that started to turn in colour. Apart from that left her to it ✌️💚 Day 59 28/08/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today, 400ml with little to no run off. Week 8 Day 50 (9/4) Honestly, not much to talk about. She's thickening up at her bud sites some, and will probably need water tonight or tomorrow morning. My fan & carbon filter SHOULD be in today, so I hope to work her into her new home tonight in my legit 2x2 tent. I've been shopping around for lights for my 4x4 for the future...😀 Day 51 (9/5) This morning I checked her weight to see if she needs watered. She seemed pretty good still. I'm guessing giving her the whole gallon soaked her enough to get her by a few days. I'm toying with the idea of if a gallon lasts 3-4 days, maybe giving her nutrients each time. Idk, I probably won't but it is a thought. I wasn't able to get the fan & filter set up last night, wifey decided she wanted a date night so the tent got put off until today. I do need to get some 4" ducting, the ducting I have is dryer ducting and doesn't really fit. Day 52 (9/6) Got her all settled into her new home last night. I still need to figure out how to rig the oscillating fan in there for her. After running the lights for 3 hours or so this morning, her temp was 74F and humidity was 58%. I turned down the exhaust fan some to see if the temp goes up a bit. I only have one air intake opening open and have my humidifier sitting in from of it. This morning I fed her a gallon of water with Soil A&B, Top Booster, Bud XL, Drip Clean, and some Cal-Mag Plus. I did see that the pistils that had browned on some of the lower bud sites that I had noticed a week or two ago have been replaced with all new white ones, so she seems to be getting back on track. Day 53 (9/7) It looks like fall has finally rolled in. It's going to be nice and cool this entire week, so the windows will be open and she'll be getting fresh air. So far, the tent has been great. Holding good temps and humidity, even though I don't have the humidifier in the tent. Still working on a way to get my oscillating fan in there... Day 54 (9/8) Nothing much new going on, just playing the waiting game. Her last feed/water was two days ago. I checked her weight last night and she was good. I'll check again tonight and see where she's at. Day 55 (9/9) Her pot was still pretty heavy this morning. She hasn't been watered in 3 days (day 52), so she'll probably be getting light tonight or tomorrow. I'm sure the cooler temps have been helping her conserve water. Yesterday she stayed pretty cool, so overnight I stuck a space heater in the room and opened up the tent vent flaps. This morning she was at about 80F. I will keep the heater going and the humidifier going today to keep her nice and warm and humid. Day 56 (9/10) So far I've been able to maintain the temp and humidity in the tent pretty well. I have an exam this afternoon, but once I'm done I'll probably head home and mix her up some feed.

the stretch has begun. in just 9 days the flowers are gonna start to form. i've been trying to give the plants more support. i placed a bunch of Bamboo through the cages to support the branches and placed a net on the smallest plant. ( the net's holes were too small, so i cut it up. only problem, since i can't reach the other plants that well i can't do the same for them. yet.) i'm working on it, i haven't had that much of time lately to work on the plants and the weather isn't helping either. most of the plants reached the height of 180 centimeters and maybe 190 before flowering. curious how big they will become when it all starts.

They are growing really well. Added a humidifier at day 9. I have a seedling in rockwool still it is growing super slow. Root still not sticking out even tho it have been in the cube for 7 days now. Im feeding very light 40% strenght. I see how light green the leafs are and thats what im going for. I will up the strenght abit the following days. I been watering almost everyday. Started the first week with 0.1 liter now upped it to 0.2 liters per plant. I had the HPS light just a bit too close to the plants so i have some very slight curling on a few of the leafs. No problem i just move the light up 5cm. So far im very pleased with the growth rate

D08 - 02/10 - 4 girls of 5 are very close to the ScrOG net. I think I'm going to tied'em up tomorrow. I decided to wait to cut off the lower branches of the other girls because I need more time and I don't want a quick grow. D09 - 03/10 - Still waiting D10 - 04/10 - They are arrived. Made first LST to keep'em down... D11 - 05/10 - continuing LST. Very strong girls ! D12 - 06/10 - I'm impressed how the mother plant is strong. So are the clones, just incredible. D13 - 07/10 - Made a big defolation and topped the main branches. All the girls must remain down, else I'm going to have big issues ! D14 - 08/10 - Continuing LST under the SCROG. I cutted the secondary branch trying to do a main lining. The girls are very hard to manage, I think I'm go to double the scrog waiting to move them in the other room.

Auto Northern Dragon Fuel is growing great. She has been making a lot of progress. I have been keeping up on lst and selective defoliation. She looks like she is just getting ready to start producing her first pistils. Every other day I get her ph and fresh nutrition in her. I will likely cut back on the nitrogen some if I can. She might use a bunch at stretching. She is looking great. With true love comes happiness , Always believe in your self and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart , be a giver and the universe will give back to you in ways you could not even imagine so <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Growers love to you all <3 <3 <3 Here are the words from this peace of art from nature creator Shapeshifter's @ HI-ELEVATION GENETICS <3 <3 <3 "FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q. How did you create/breed Freakshow? A. Methodical selection, line breeding, and culling is the short answer. Read our About page for more details. Q. Is it an indoor or outdoor type? A. Everything I've ever worked has been outdoors, including of course Freakshow. It has been our experience that outdoor (or sun grown, as it's recently being referred to) cultivars seem to perform extremely well under artificial conditions. This is true of seed starts or clones made from seed starts. The opposite is not always true; indoor clones often give an outdoor grower headaches because they don't always make the transition smoothly. This is due to light spectrum, temperature, and/or photoperiod changes. Yes, Freakshow will do exceedingly well indoors, and will thrive and mature just fine in a wide variety of natural environments as well, so it's definitely both and I think might even prove to be more resilient to those sorts of transitions. Q. What are the potency and terpenoid levels? A. Average 18-20% THCa, THC; negligible CBD, CBN with terps variable, averaging 2.5-3.5, primarily limonene and pinene, but this is variable, there was a lot of diversity in terp combinations and compositions in all the prior generations, it's just something that was left "as is" for now. The different parallel lines that we are developing can be directed in a few different pathways flavorwise. Q. Why are the seeds white? A. Why is the sky blue? No, the mature seeds are shrouded by a rice paper thin membrane which has coloring and mottling on it, but it's so fragile that it disintegrates in the process of shucking. Stripped of the outer layer the seeds are very pale, nearly white. It came as no surprise that this plant would have abnormal seeds. Q. Is it a GMO? A. Wow...? Well, it's seriously "modified" and the modifications are definitely genetic, and it is an organism. (Genuinely Modified Organically!) Uh, no. No radiation, no recombinant DNA, no gene splicing or editing, no TALEN or CRISPR! These biotechnologies don't belong in the food and medicine plant industries. Sadly, in the near future it will become commonplace and widespread in cannabis and other medicinal plants as it is already is with food crops and ornamentals. I'll avoid discussion on this topic for now, but we hope some people enjoy consuming Frankenbud! Q. What's the floral period length? A. 8-9 wks, finishes early Oct. at most latitudes and elevations. Q. Is it a big producer? A. Freakshow will produce nice, fat, dense colas (see gallery) with remarkable trichome coverage, and you can expect yields according to your veg. time, root space, and general knowledge and expertise as a gardener. The same set of variables apply to expected outcomes regarding cannabinoid levels and terpene profiles. Q.What is the lineage? A. (Bigbud x Skunk#1) x (Big Sur Holy Weed x Banana Kush). NLD("Sativa") dominant, but the afghanica influence is apparent. I'm pretty sure that Freakshow contains some Trainwreck and some Maui Wowie based on some research I did on the origins of the Pineapple Express. Interestingly Big Sur Holyweed, OG Kush, Banana, Trainwreck, and Maui Wowie are all of unclear origins. We have to remember that these are all just names and that they don't really mean much. The exact heritage of any cultivar today is impossible to determine accurately. Also, considering the amount of continuous shameless hybridization that has occurred in the last 40 yrs., any modern kind could easily contain over 40 kinds. In the case of Freakshow, it's much more limited because the ancestry is largely older "Sativas" that didn't go through as much outcrossing. In the 70s in Santa Cruz, Haze was a favorite among surfers for the pure energy and I still have (greatly improved) stock of it around, simply because even when I made hybrids with it I always kept the original in pure form for obvious reasons. Q. What is the psychoactive effect like? A. Like the flavors, many people have commented that the "buzz" is somewhat different than other mainstream types out there. It's not entirely out of the scope of imagination that given that this strain has new alleles in so many other respects, that it could also contain new, unique cannabinoids, as well as new and unique terpenoids, some of which may not even be among the standard 16 or so that the average lab is testing for. Aside from the up, cerebral, energetic boost, some report a mild time/space warp effect. Creativity and idea induction should be mentioned, for sure. Freakshow has the pure energy effect and greatly alters perception to the positive side, so definitely destroys depression. Appetite suppression is a side effect, but the enjoyment of food is enhanced. I personally will attest to all of the above. We all have different receptor profiles, so these are just generalizations. Couch unlock. Q. Is it pest and mildew resistant? A. Indeed it is. On many occasions in the last few years, it has been observed that when pest and mildew issues were affecting other plants adjacent to in the vicinity of Freakshow plants, for unknown reasons the freaks remained entirely unaffected. This includes 0botritis, PM, various mites and insects, soil fungus, etc. We haven't heard any complaints along those lines so far, so if anyone has any problems, especially with a rigorous IPM regimen in place, we would like to hear about it. And if anyone can attest to the extreme level of resistance it seems to have we'd love to hear about that as well. Q. Does it contain web-leaf genetics? A. I thought I better clarify this because there are a few people thinking that because of an article "Growing Marijuana that Doesn't look like Marijuana" that mentions that I had worked web-leaf types years ago and had eventually turned that into Freakshow. This is incorrect and I'm needing to get ahold of the writer to have him change it. When I read the piece and saw the mistake I figured it didn't matter that much, that the actual method of breeding could just remain a "trade secret". Recently, I noticed online that a posting, "Freakshow only exists because of duckfoot" by Curious Cannabis Connoisseur, where he explains how I developed Freakshow using Duckfoot. Let me explain, about 20 yrs. ago a friend gave me a jar of seeds labeled "BC Bigbud" and I sprouted flats of hundreds to look for oddities and had found one web-leaf pheno which we named Webster. It was a female so I bred it to a normal leaf male and began selecting and stabilizing a line of Webster. About 5 or 6 generations later I had nailed it to 100% webs and had also stabilized it for a deep purple color and a nice "gingerbread" terp profile. I was busy working other lines at that point so I put Webster in the library. Also, I was having a hell of a time getting a pheno of it that flowered to my satisfaction. (it seemed to finish with a limited number of calyxes). I knew I would have to outcross it to something with a big tasty bud and restabilize it for web-leaf, and I no longer had the original BC Bigbud. I still have the Webster seeds, and trust me the thought has crossed my mind to make the cross with Freakshow, but why? Why mess around crossing things just to create something even weirder? I have heard that the "Duckfoot" also doesn't bud up well so maybe there's a correlation there. Anyway, people can do what they want to and I will too, but crossing Freakshow with some low-THC crap like ABC is in my opinion idiotic. I worked extremely hard stabilizing and perfecting a beautiful new subspecies and I believe it should be kept pure. I won't go on a rant here about the rampant crossing and the lack of line-breeding in the cannabis world in the last several decades, or where this will eventually lead us, but I will say that it's not in a good direction. Bottom line....Freakshow has no web-leaf genes, it was made using top-grade tropical narrow-leaf drug (NLD) cultivars. Q.Why is Freakshow patented? A. Although I and most others (including all the folks at HSC) believe in and subscribe to the concept of "open sourcing" because sharing in cannabis genetics was always the cultural norm, it was decided that Freakshow should be protected (1) because it is a novel and unique, not a preexisting strain (or even subspecies), (2) To keep the greedy corporate big boys from exploiting it, (3) To maintain control of the genetic refinement of it in all future generations. We really can't wait to share it with the entire collective world of cannabis enthusiasts and invite experimental breeding for personal use and curiosity." source https://freakshowcannabis.com
