04/01/2023 - 56 days since my little girl sprouted from a seed
Third week of bloom for my NYC Diesel 🍋🍊
Nutrients:
Jungle Indabox - the girl responded well to the change in nutrients, so I continue to feed the same as last week when I adjusted the nutrients for flowering
Jungle Environ X - bud stimulators 🌼
Bud Candy - bud stimulators 🌼
Atami - ATA Calmag - it is recommended to use Calmag when growing under LED lights
I stopped the Hesi Root Complex - no longer recommended this week
Training:
LST: just a slight LST, I attached some small twigs with string to let more light shine on them 💡💡
Defoliation: I did more defoliation so that the leaves do not shade the already forming buds and the plant can breathe freely - this was necessary for NYC Diesel, it was very leafy 🍃🍃
Light: Mars Hydro TS1000, the girls are doing amazing under this great light, I can see a big difference compared to my past results 💡💡💓
In general:
The girl is very strong, she has a strong stem - trunk, that is the basis for a proper plant 🌴.
As the only girl in the tent, it's not a sativa, but a hybrid, which is fine with me, so the girl isn't as high as the others.
Buds are already forming at the ends of the twigs 🌸 and there are many branches 🌾. It resembles a small dense bush. I'm already proud of her 😇

Stan emits a soft scent that is mainly reminiscent of fruit, but it is a gentle whiff 🍇🍋🍊

1 gallon, of the above listed nutrients, every 3 days, for the past 2 weeks!
I've been selectively de-leafing every about 5-7 days.. I haven't needed to remove much at all, to maintain good light coverage to bud-sites!

[Day 47] 08/13/21 - It's hard to believe these are all the same strain. Looks like 4 phenotypes at play. They all have differences in growth type, smell and size. #4 has zero trichomes so far and not the most pleasant scent. The others have a very pleasant smell with subtle differences between them.

I have named the other 2 plants for easier recognition - Dux and Princeps.
The plants are growing steadily and from what I can see they're growing without any defects. Fynix is a slower growing plant, probably because the shell wouldn't come off for a couple of days, but he's catching up.
I'm considering the training methods that I could use, and I was thinking I could use both topping and LST or just LST. I'll probably try both methods and leave one plant so I can see the differences. If some one could share his/her experiences I would be very grateful and you have my thanks in advance.

Die Blüten werden fetter und riechen sehr lecker. Bis auf Wasser gießen und ein bisschen Ackerschachtelhalm Tee füttern musste ich nicht viel machen.

Chopped them down for a 24 hour hang dry before storing them in a temperature and humidity controlled environment. So freaking glad it's over! Time to chill out and enjoy the crop.

Set up an evaporative cooler to act as an intake and to cool the temp through evaporation.
It I was able to get the average temperature down to an average of 77°.
Relative Humidity increased to an average of 55%.

Evaporative Cooler:
The evaporative cooler was way bigger than I thought and blowing all the air into the tent would be overkill and would throw off my ventilation given that I only have a 4inch exhaust fan blowing air out. So I had to rig an air duct onto the front to channel some, but not all, of the air coming from the evaporative cooler. I cut a hole in a plastic brownie box and zip tied right angle plate that I had leftover from an ikea furniture. Then I put velcro tape to easily attach and remove the air duct from the cooler for future maintentance and cleaning.
I left the room where my tent is closed one day and the humidity went up to 84% which also increased the temperature to 90° but I found that simply leaving the room door open gives the cooler enough air circulation in order to function properly and averaged out at 55% RH and 77° F.

Defoliated some ugly fan leaves that were shading a lot of lower buds.

Flowering time! These girls have been giving me nothing but ease so far. A little bit of defoliation here and there for the next weeks focusing on maximizing the bud potential. Hope fully I get some monsters!

Hola que tal Growers!!!
Esta semana empezó con un poco de preocupación por el problema del exceso del calcio el cual bloqueo otros nutrientes, !!!bueno eso espero!!!! hahahaha; pero va muy bien para ser mi primer cultivo Indoor, cambiamos el agua de riego por agua embotellada que tiene un PH= 6,9-7 y un EC=0,3 µs/cm bastante menor al agua de la red. Normalmente riego según la necesidad de la planta, siempre que veo el sustrato seco riego, el primer riego de esta semana solo agua aproximadamente 500ml para limpiar un poco la raíz de ese exceso. El siguiente riego si la alimento con aditivos universales de plagron, le va muy bien, la decoloración de las hojas no sigue, pero aún se notan en las fotos las pueden ver.
Solución de riego
PH=6,5
EC=0.8 µs/cm ( en la tabla de plagron me recomiendan llevarla a 1.7, pero quiero ir despacio para ver como reacciona, es más fácil corregir una deficiencia que un exceso si me pide más la planta se la suministraré)

Rough week, seeing the full effects of nute burn and at the same time cal mag deficiency. Making some newbie mistakes here, didn’t realize how often I needed to give them cal mag so fan leaves started to yellow. Also didn’t realize the importance of watering until runoff with the medium I’m using so there was some build up causing the nute burn. PPM was 4000 when I flushed.
I finally think I’ve got it all figured out thanks to friends with much more experience whom I should have reached out to sooner.
Oh well, expected to make some mistakes and learn from them my first time around. Still have some big fat frosty colas! Can’t wait to take what I’ve learned into the next grow!

La semana 1️⃣ a ido bien 👍, destacar que la próxima vez, estresaré lo mínimo posible a las plantas, ya que si quieres una cosecha rápida y saludable lo mejor creo es no estresar a las plantas, nada de low stress ni mierdas, dejarla desarrollar como si estuviera solita.
📅 Día 8: 🔹Pulverizo las hojas con Rootbastic de Atami a 0,15 ml/litro.
📅 Día 9:🔹 Última pulverización con Acti Vera y Alg-A-Mic a 1 ml/litro respectivamente. A partir del día 11 no se le aplicarán más abonos vía foliar para controlar la humedad en el cuarto de cultivo y así evitar que se disparen estos niveles de humedad.
📅 Día 10🔹Última pulverización con Special THC PLUS.
📅 Día 11🔹Riego según la tabla de nutrientes y bajo la dosis de agua ya que me he pasado con el riego. Aplico 350ml e iré subiendo cuando note que no dura 24h mojado.
🔹Cambio los platos de las macetas por una bandeja de 80 x 80para así poder hacer un mejor riego y no molestar a las plantas, ha entrado justa. La pongo sobre una mesa de metal de 60 x 60 cm.

Have some Hurkle regular seeds i got my hands on. I germinated them and they sprouted. Pictures are a real testament to genetics, and pheno types. all planted same day other the same circumstance and rotation in hot spots. all diff sizes and leaves are a different health. This grow is an experiment the weakest one will stay in the tent and go 12/12 after its first set of true leaves to see quality. the 2 bigger ones will be for an outdoor balcony grow on the lake. Direct sunlight from 6am-2pm. Right now they are in the tent for another week until the temperature is a little more consistent outside. then i will transplant.

Finally we cut this plant 13 weeks plant, it isn't a 8 weeks plant this is my main complaint about it, the bank should change the information because most of the people select this strains because are "faster".
