Well this week has gone a bit pear shaped. I think it is a combination of light stress and the new soil I'm using. Also the soil had fungus gnats. I won't use it again but it was an experiment and I've learnt that soil isn't my substrate of choice! Back to my super coco mix! 😁 I'm going to see if I can pull it through. I've got plants through worse! Wish me luck. I watered twice this week with 1ltr of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6-6.5, containing 1ml of Ecothrive Trace and 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys. I will say that the soil is very difficult for me to judge the moisture level to water accordingly. Day 5 since time change to 12/12. Hey everyone ☺️. Finally the time has come :-) The lady moved into the flower tent on January 6th, 2021 😁. The day before, of course, a cutting was taken 👍. In the flowering tent, the distance between the plant and the lamp is 40 cm so that she can get used to the strength of the lamp. After 3-5 days I go down to 30 cm. This week it was watered twice with 1 l per plant. GHSC enhancers were added to one wash :-). Flower fertilizer will only be added in 12-16 days as soon as the first blossoms are there :-). Otherwise the tent was completely cleaned and the humidifier refilled. For the next few days I have filled fresh osmosis water in canisters again :-). Next week I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up going into small popcorn buds 😉. There is nothing more to report this week and I wish you all a lot of fun with the update 😀. Week 6 – Day 44 (BT20) RedPure#4 is holding steady at 40 cm – vertical growth has stopped, but the buds are visibly swelling 🍇 Her purple fade is getting stronger 💜 and the aroma is becoming more noticeable and pleasant 👃 She’s currently on 50% of the feeding schedule, which results in EC 0.9. ⚠️ With Advanced Nutrients, I let the solution rest for 20 minutes before measuring – otherwise the EC reading is inaccurate. Before resting: EC 1.7 → After resting: EC 0.9 This happens because A+B nutrients bind slowly at low dosages. 💡 I also remeasured the Fluxshield LED, which lights RedPure exclusively. It seems to have lost some intensity over time, so I increased the dimmer by one step to match the original PPFD levels. All in all, she's developing nicely and stays compact – true to her autoflower nature 🌿

Day 69 flower, the ladies have become very fat! the white hairs are also slowly turning orange!

First week after veg begins, I hope that the gradual approach to the critical point helps to have a quick transition; 🌡️- 23° C - 65% RH average; 📑- PH 5.8 - EC 2; 💧- 5° DWC change for both after 48 hours flush; 🍔- Transition blend: tap water EC 0.4 + Silic 0.5 ml/l + CalMag 0.5 ml/l + Hydro A-B 1.8 ml/l + Oligo Spectrum 1 ml/l + Power buds 0.5 ml/l; 🥅- ScrOG-net mounted at 50 cm on DAY 4 FLO; 🔄- I reversed the position, the phenotype #1 is now on the right side; 🌱- Pheno #1 shows burnt tips since week 5 but I don't care, she has a great shape, is enormous and gorgeous. The lateral branches are long and strong, the main stem is very thick! Pheno #2, instead, is smaller and the lateral branches are not so long but she has the best root system I've ever seen!

I started these seeds on Friday, January 29, 2021. Planted them on Sunday, January 31st in Happy Frog soil in a manure pot. I've struggled with keeping the temp below 80F while keeping the humidity up. It was around 57%. I had to turn my exhaust fan on medium and the temp is currently 75.7F and the humidity is at 49%. This is with 2 cool mist humidifiers in a 2X4 foot tent. I do have 2 other small fans blowing as well. One inside and one at the intake vent outside the tent. This is my first grow so any advice will be greatly appreciated!! I'll post the end of week one pics later this weekend!

We're beyond excited to try out this new MarsHydro LED for our latest grow, the SP-3000 is INCREDIBLY bright!! ..I have never seen a light more appropriate for a 4x2 tent in my life, we (happily) replaced 3 "600 watt" blurple LEDs with this single rig ( something we've wanted for a very long time). There should be no issue achieving perfect coverage, corner to corner with this light. Its been years since we've flowered under LED ( and never one of this quality), we're a little bias towards HID/CMH, especially my hubby but I think this might just be the LED that changes our mind! We'll be growing Gelat OG Auto by Seedsman (we've heard amazing things) for our first grow under the SP-3000, all plants in 5gl fabric pots, Promix-B (25% perlite) on a 20/4hr cycle. We're starting with 4 plants but if they become unmanageable, we'll move one or 2 of the plants to another tent. We use a glass of water and a paper towel as our germination method. We soak seeds roughly 24hrs and then in a wet paper towel for another 12-24hrs, we average roughly a 90% success rate doing it this way... This week unfortunately I accidentally snapped a branch off but other than that mess up she's been having allot of vigorous growth and looks like she's loving her low stress training I'm applying.. looking forward to the flower sites forming and her to fully bloom
