Hey fellow growers another week in the books! Not a lot going on this week except some leaf plucking! Total plant life is 77 days old( 10 days over Northern lights supposed to be harvest time). I'm in my harvest window now for pineapple auto. Neither plant is close to ready! Both could prob use another 2-3 weeks! I will start my 2 week flush today on these ladies. As I need this tent for drying. I would try to stretch these ladies a little longer but as fast as they are yellowing I'm not sure if I can even make it through the two week flush! These girls have started defoliating themselves and I'm running out of fan leaves. Thanks to my rookie mistake of defoliating all my fan leaves off both plants some weeks back! All the issues these plants have are my mistakes. Like I just found out that changing from blurple lights to white lights in flower could have stressed these ladies🤯💩🤬! Now that I think back and look back my girls were doing well up till light change! Live and learn is what this has become for me. Not a pro and prob won't ever be until I can figure out this nutrient feeding. I can look on all these different sites and everyone will tell you a different amount to feed and still have yet to find one single feeding suggestion chart for an auto flower using my nutrients. Well as u know from last week I did a 10 gal flush to correct dry pockets in my soil. It helped! Both plants will now hold a gal of Solution instead of a 1/4-1/2 gal. It didn't improve the yellowing of either plant. I was told to stop giving nitrogen as the plants themselves are passing maturity and are nearing the end of their lifespan. I thought when u stressed an autoflower it just set u back a week so u had to grow a week longer. What I was told is an autoflower is genetically designed to go a certain length of time and once it passes that time that's it! So losing a week to stress is a week lost of 🌸. Can anyone reassure me that this is the case because it is important to me to know that I'm putting out accurate info to others. 03/18/2022 I have not shown the third clone as much because of training I will start with her this week. Did some wiring wrap around on two branches, and stem cracked, super cropped third branch. Branches couldn't manage the weight so everything caved in like dominoes smh. I decided to chop on rainbow cake to help with air flow. Humidity is at 45 degrees steadily but im not risking mold or mildew this late in the grow. I added Ripen to the nutrient regimen at 5ml per gallon.

MY WEED SMELLS LIKE WEED. Filling the room, creeping through the apt, what a glorious time. No major smell worries where I am so I'm just enjoying the atmosphere. 😍 On to Backbuilding/Bud Tipping. (Shoot me any advice on this down below!) I experimented back mid-week with 3 tipped buds that had similar control buds side-by-side. After 4 days there is a noticeable difference in density and bud structure in the 3 tipped buds compared to the very fluffy and softer buds next to them. No overall size difference but the tipped buds are rock hard and filling in gaps down the cola compared to the untipped buds. A light squeeze on both a tipped bud and untipped will tell you the difference right there. Happy with the results after seeing them for myself and lucky enough to find this technique at the end of week 4, I tipped majority of the main colas on Danny and some larger buds on Arnold today. Which means I also get what OG growers call a "First Taste" once my tips dry out and cure for a few days. 😛 Other than tipping, I've just had to keep up with Arnold's feedings since lower leaves are still fading if I skip mineral nute feedings. Looks like they will be getting only PH Perfect and/or Molasses feedings until the final flush since they can't get enough food in the ProMix medium. I've still had constant defoliation during to avoid leaf overlap and light blockage. Since I'm now entering week 5 of flower I'll have to get it where I want in the next couple days and go hands off for the last month or so. Thanks for checking out my grow! Follow along as we're getting to the good part and I'll update again this week once the tipping sets in 💪 MID-WEEK UPDATE: Random Heat/Humidity wave in Southern Ontario so I'm keeping a close eye on the buds after dark periods. Keeping air moving well so far so hopefully I can avoid mold/mildew in last few weeks. Twins are looking good. Arnold still super hungry so I've upped the nutes a tad and skipped plain water feeding until the flush. Just fed them PH Perfect/Molasses cocktail. Big Arnold on the right is definitely rootbound by how the water is draining so I'm looking at a lower yield from the right plant. I get run off from small Danny during a regular feed but takes a lot more to get any from Arnold and I don't want to overwater in this random heat/humidity wave. The Backbuilding/BudTipping is working like a charm. The tipped buds are filling down and way more dense than the untipped. Popped the SoundLink in the tent today to give the twins some music while I go about my business. What can I say THC Bomb looks like it is gonna try to become a monster. It is really loving the Spiderfarmer SF-1000 light. I believe it is flowering slower, due to the persistent stretching still. Which is a good thing. I increase more blooming nutrition, and am lowering nitrogen levels. I also added a top layer of dynomyco for additional fungal action for flowering. *If anyone read through my GDP diary, this is going to be mostly the same stuff. So, sad day friends. I got spider mites and had to throw all my plants out. This is what I think happened: About 2-3 weeks ago I noticed some freckling on the lower leaves. I looked at it and thought it might be a cal/mag issue so I added cal/mag that week and went about my business. I saw it about a week later and it wasn't getting any better so I added more cal/mag. This continued for about 2-3 weeks until I finally took off a leaf and examined it under my microscope. I saw little bugs crawling everywhere and my stomach just dropped. My fiance did some quick research while I was panic ripping leaves off (see pictures) and she correctly diagnosed it as spider mites. I debated with myself and my close friend and ultimately I decided to throw all the plants in my tent away. I know that there are a lot of people who will say that there are things I could have done to make it to harvest but what it came down to is the people I take care of and personal pride. I consider myself a caregiver and I give away product for free that I am not going to use to my family and close friends. I thought to myself "Would you smoke this?" and when my answer was "ehhh, I don't know", I thought about how it would feel giving it away and immediately made the decision to destroy them. I take an immense amount of pride in my product and this hobby and if I am not going to stand behind it I would rather just start over. I grow from my heart (shout out to the Grow From Your Heart Podcast!) to help people and make sure my family is not getting unsafe product from sketchy people. To spray pesticides in flower that may hurt people and have little bug carcasses in there just goes against that in every way and is just wrong in my opinion if you are giving it away to others. If you are the only one smoking it then it is one thing to take that risk but not with your patients. I want my medicine to help people, not create or exacerbate health issues. It is also important to note that the mites had moved from my flower tent into my veg space and took over my auto berry as well. Damn things are crafty and fast. So that is why I made the decision to destroy them all after 3+ months of res changes, pruning, and manifolding on a slow vegging strain. Feel free to chime in with your opinion but I do not regret my decision. I threw out my new clones, mother plant, and auto berry I had on my veg side as well. Shout out to all the other growers out there that do the right thing by their patients. Caregivers > Cash croppers. For anyone curious, I removed everything from my tent and scrubbed it all with a 20% bleach/water solution. All equipment has been wiped down and stored in the garage away from any organic materials. I will give them until tomorrow (2 days) to air out and dry and then I will wipe it down again with bleach and wait another 2 days. Hopefully that will make sure everything is dead and will not come back next grow. That next grow should start in about a week. It sucks but sometimes it happens and you gotta be ready for it. Lesson learned. Never bring outdoor plants into your indoor garden even if it is after just a day or two. A bunch of people on here and Reddit warned me and I did not listen. Now I have learned the hard way and it feels like when your parents "told you so" haha. Thanks to everyone who stopped by along the way. Stay tuned for a new grow coming soon. 4/9/25 This plant is beyond frosty. Stacking up super nicely. Seems like she will yeild quite a bit. My only gripe is that she has like no smell at all. Using the foil as a soil cover is working quite nicely. the top soil is getting filled with roots quite well. Top dressed 1tsp of Bloom 1tsp microbe charge 1tsp bloom

going fine try trim away most fan leaves. Last day week 8. 2 more days with Nutrients then i am going last time with just Nordic spring water 💯🙏💪💪

Week 4 for 9lb hammer, have topped this plant at the 4th node finally getting some lateral growth. Still haven't transplanted just waiting for 4 other siblings to grow a little bigger before i gender text them😇 Maybe anther week before doing so.

The plants are doing really good! I made a first light defoliation beginning of the week and continued the LST day by day. So far I broke no branch. I planned to switch to 12h/12h schedule beginning of next week but the plants grew too big already so I decided to switch a bit earlier.
