Topped both plants this week and started to train them with some stakes. Not sure if I will do a second topping or if this will be the only one, give this is an auto. In the absence of a scrog net, I'm using some stakes to try and spread the plant as evenly as possible. Still watering very little and around the sides, with the idea of making those roots stretch. I'm still using Root Juice and plant to keep using it for a few more weeks. From next watering I will start to introduce BioGrow, BioBloom and TopMax and cut out Acti Vera and Bio Heaven for now.

Because of the extrem Defolitation/Schwazzing, which was more or less necessary regarding Humidtiy levels of of over 95% around evening night and morning. Even though I also did it for trying out how the Plants react. They mainly stopped growing Bud for 3-4 Days and the leaves of the Bud Sides got a bit Bigger. Also I had problems with NutBurn and Heat Burn, Nutburn because of my not constantly watered Pots which, I guess, ended up beeing a really salty and nutrient soaked(from the soil) substrate because they are reused Filters for Water out of clay. As well in midday it gets really hot and we are more than 3500ft over the sea level. And why I grow in Clay Filters ? Just to try, in my opinion already not recommendable even though it keeps the Soil a bit cooler..

Germination went well she was a beautiful large purple seed when I see her I knew she was going to be a nice phenotype . I use fish tank water as my base which is 350 parts per million then I added 1 ml of biogrow and 0.25 ml of biobloom . pH 6.5

5/1 Plants are being rock stars. The event horizons and toasted toffy have been lollipopped abd it looks like lsted. I need to tie down the branches. The one sherb pie looks like it has a little bit of light burn but everything else is doing awesome. 5/2 Didn't write anything I forgot. 5/3 Plants are still doing great. The event horizon is coming out of reveg and isn't so twisty. It's time to start LSTing. I just haven't had time. I'm planning to put some work in today. Soil still seemed a little wet. I FIMed a GMO. I'll wait to see how that turns out before I do the rest. After today I'll have more time. Plants still aren't DIRECTLY under the light. I want to turn on both switches but I'm afraid they'll burn. 5/4 Still going strong. Watered today. Used approximately 3 Gatorade bottles. I tried to split one bottle between 3 plants. I want the roots searching for water. I want these 1 gallons to be full of roots before the transplant. I'm thinking I may do some lsting today as well as some topping or FIM. I'll update. Seedlings seem to come out of that stall. Didn't think they'd make it. 5/5 When I arrived I realized I had left the light OFF from the morning before when I was watering and inspecting things. Hooe this doesn't mess things up to bad. I've got one event horizon that's having trouble coming out of reveg. Everything else looks good. Those stunted auto seeds are coming up with their Second set of leaves. Definately took long enough. 5/6 I got close and inspected every plant. I really want to flip the bloom switch on too. I turned it on for a minute and it's bright as fuck. I think if I could find a way to raise the light higher (I'm working on a theory) I might be able to flip both switches. However I'm noticing what looks like light burn or light stress on some of them. It's not the too of the plant though. It's like the serated leaves are turning in on themselves. The 2 that I think reveged are turning their leaves inside out. Not sure if it's a reveg thing or has something to do with the light. I raised the light at noon. I'll see if this has a positive effect. The shades only partially block direct sunlight so I may need to make sure that's what's not causing this. The 4 gmo show no signs. I moved one almost directly under the light to see if it had an effect or if it's strain dependent. I'm definitely need to learn how to use l.e.d's better. Oh well. They'll go outside in less than a month. 5/7 I'm hoping leaving that light off didn't fuck with the clones that revegged. Raisingcthe light was a good idea. I can raise it higher and I'd like to hit the other switch. It's so much brighter and the gmos don't have any burns. They'll be going outside in a few weeks anyway. I was going to but a parmeter and I still might. The auto seeds are coming up pretty good. It's in the 60s today. I might bring the girls outside on the covered porch and see how they do.

Solid week, she's growing well if I look at a week ago but I'm too impatient 😆. A look back at the week that was. After a trip to my local hydroponic shop I picked up grow bags, SCROG net, Growrite AandB formulation (Dutch apparently although wasn't on the drop down list here?), CalMax and LST tie. Day 19 I did her 3rd and final transplant to 20L grow bag. She didn't seem to suffer from it but will definitely plant into final bag from the get go next grow. It's too stressful on me LOL. Moved my grow tent out of garage and onto patio area as we've had a spell of hot days >35degC and the shed roasts. Wife isn't happy bout it but my girl appreciates it. Introduced CalMax and Growrite into her fertilising schedule. Trying very hard to stick to a watering/fertiliser schedule giving her nothing every 2nd day as suggested in comments (thank you!). Also started LST and at day 21 it's looking like some medieval torture scene! Would like to know people's thoughts on the LST, have I gone overboard? While I'm asking what is the latest consensus on topping Autos? Most people here seem to go for it but a number of vids on YouTube say otherwise? Also I was watching a video that suggested a great way to promote root growth is to starve her of water I.e. let her go dry for prolonged period (>4 days?). What are people's thoughts on this? Anyone tried? I am hoping for big growth in week 4!

After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. I kept on doing buisness as usual. Thought I would defoliate less, but there are still so many leafs and so many growing. So mid week I got rid of a lot of leafs. The flowers really started going off this week and the plants get more and more sticky. The plants did quite the stretch and I might have to put the ventilation system out of the grow tent next week. The plant in the top right corner was a little more yellowish and had a burnt tips so this week I only gave her water. All plants got water between 6.0 -6.3 to compensate the high run off from last week.

Everything going well, even supercroped branches are recovered well and hopefully i will push that grow to the end without any hiccups ;))) One Kalini Asia shows some potency for funky colours ! She is doing well, running Big Rootz soil so not much is needed by way of nutes just yet. Watching for discoloring of leaves in future so I can start a 25% nute feeding regiment. Noticed last night she is already in preflower. Honestly I am pleased to see it happening sooner rather than later. She is a thirsty girl and a long grow in a solo cup sounds intimidating as hell to me lol. Decided to go for it put a nice bend on her and strapped her down for the ride!
