Another day another week and coming along nicely only difference this week is I have started pumping some overdrive through them now seems as it’s week 6 flower. 2 weeks on that then hopefully ready for a flush with pure water and a few days dark then harvest time. I’ve got a feeling the papaya is going to be ready before the cookies waiting for.my microscope for my phone to come then will update with some pictures of the trichomes.

She has developed 3 tops, and growing really well, nice and healthy, and is looking so far 👌 I have a full tent, so I'm considering letting the plants in this grow, grow up as I've got plenty of head space but very little horizontal space. This one is a Sativa, and so I am preparing for a tall plant. This was what I did this week: 23.6.25: I watered with 2L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.6 and containing no nutrients. PH: 6.6 PPM: 307 26.6.25 I gave 2l of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with no nutrients; PPM: 333 PH: 6.4 27.6.25: I top dressed the plant today, I watered yesterday. What can I say about this plant, it spent most of the day in the shade, if it had the same conditions as dos si dos, it would eat it for breakfast in terms of yield... 450 g of dry matter and some popcorn... I am very satisfied with but the plant didn't get nearly as much sun as it needs...it didn't fill up, but it wasn't empty either, the heads are nice and fleshy...when I picked it, it smelled like lemon or KeyLime as Barney says...but no on citrus, but really lemon combined with some heavy stench, I can't wait for this miracle to work for some time in the jar... Next year we will see it in its full glory, so let's try to get a one kilo and a half dry from it alone, that's a bit of a challenge for me...but with this kind of genetics and this kind of variety, I don't think it will be a problem in 100-150 liters of soil for this kind of monster... this year my plants were in 40 to 50 liters of soil and almost each of them produced from 450 to almost a kilogram of dry grass

Starting week 2 of flower. Been slowly trimming any sucker branches that reach away from the main stem by greater than 2". I have moved branches into positions in the scrog screen to efficiently fill the whole net.

Plants are absolutely exploding out of the closet and ready to be put in the flower tent!

I absolutely love to watch them grow! Especially that moment they hit their first growth spurt. I started with RO water that is remineralized for drinking purposes. The ppm is only 18! My tap is 156! So considering they don’t need much water, I’ve been stealing some of our drinking water. The RO water starts at pH of 7. After I add the nutrients, ppm of 249 @ pH of 5.8 while soil is still sweet @ pH of 7 I think my days are off as a new week begins on the last day of the previous week. I am going to leave that for consistency. 04/21 - Noticing some possible nutrient issues with the Fruity Pebbles for several days now. Going to see what she needs. Up front I’m thinking maybe just a super small amount of Amino Acids with a little Epsom Salt. Maybe she is struggling to access the nitrates from the neem cake. IF it’s a issues with nitrogen. We will see. Maybe she would benefit from some extra calcium?… Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Day 22 and I am noticing how these girls have been burning up a lot of potassium lately, dealing with the wind and sun 💨 ☀️, getting pushed around all day. I plant to top dress with some Kelp Meal pretty soon. Day 24 -> 4/22/22- a quote from the weather on today’s red flag warning and dust storm warning. “ HAZARD...Less than a quarter mile visibility with damaging wind in excess of 60 mph. SOURCE...Satellite imagery. IMPACT...Dangerous life-threatening travel.” I’m keeping the girls inside today. Day 26, I was planning to check the runoff on some of these girls, especially the fruity pebbles, however I messed that up as I also top dressed WAY too much of the seaweed bliss. So I flushed with plain RO water at pH of 7 until there was only slight coloration in the runoff. I didn’t check the runoff as a lot has changed with all that flushing. So next watering/feeding I will make sure I check the runoff on multiple plants. So the seaweed bliss with its 17 on potassium, seems to be the most likely culprit for why there is a bronze-ish color on the inside of the new growth. Hopefully a foliar feed of Epsom salts can correct the problem. Inside tent, lights on LOW. Noticing similar pattern in all of them to a degree, most noticeable in the fruity pebbles.

Day 64 my baby is going really well by now, she s been running fast until now and I think that’s enough with fertiliser. From today o start my flush, I will give today my last dose of regulator and from next irrigation just on controlled water until the end of maturation, I want this baby to eat everything . day 65 started flushing. ph controlled water at 6.0 i think 20 more days at max before m Day 68 First check with micro today. The baby looks already milky and amber on the top buds but the rest of the plant is still transparent. I’ll wait at least until this weekend for a re check maybe I’ll cut her in two rounds. As I be been watching a lot with micro I noticed so many dust and other stuff on the buds so I think I’ll wash her in water. Today watered ph 6. Let’s see! 🌱🔥🌱🔥🌱🔥🔥

11/17 Week 8 Man I will be glad when this grow is over, if making mistakes promotes learning well... Im a fricking PHD ... Ok progress on Maggie the yellow is limited to the very top as buds are building in particular those a couple inches from the top. Thinking another root drench is in order, cant hurt and letting her dry a bit as a prep. Looks like tomorrow Layla doing ok she exhibits far fewer problems but the same issue are present she is just a hell of plant along with the Runtz which she shares the tent. Thinking about the feeding tomorrow will decide what to do then. They have plenty of time to finish up, had some issues on germination on the grow following so looks like it may be delayed a week from the scheduled 2 weeks. Maggie may need it. 11/19 Have stumbled onto to something it seems. The further I move the lights out, they are now at twice the "ideal" placement of 14" at 28" and the yellowing is disappearing to a great extent. Problem with this of course is not enough light at bud sites not on the canopy which lets face it is most of your bud. It is absolutely something that makes the plants insanely susceptible to light burn. New one for me but maybe some of yall know so making a question of it. Pics at lights out only and I missed today so new pics later if I get back in time. Update : Defoliated and tightened training on all three to spread things out from the center and open up the light and air paths. Raising the lights is working just wish I knew why as lights are higher than crap with little room for more than a few more inches. Would drop the watts to 450 but need the heat to keep the grow room level as our temps here swing 40 degrees all the time. Something I learned with the help of a carbon filter. If things normalize will begin dropping lights to see what happens. 11/20 Setting the lights at 24" as I am not risking yield any further than that on Layla and the Runtz, Have the canopy as level as it can be with Brandy getting the least light being on a coco coir block (heh) for height, which she is responding well to since I opened up the plant and no longer worried over mold issues in that main bud. Have Layla on a milk crate to bring her into decent light as well as the Runtz. She is just a lovely thing building those white crystalline buds. Maggie has turned into a beast at least I know her root ball is huge from the growth above. Seriously defoliated her removing several small lower branches and leaves blocking light and air paths. Next feed will be continuing what seems to be working, Epsom salt and bloom nuets (no calmag with epsom salt) with a foliar feed after lights out which may well be with calmag. Foliar feeding today at lights out, one quart sprayer with 1ml CaliMagic and 0.5ml wetting agent un-PH warmed to 75 F before spraying (our tap water comes out at @50F so...), just trying to hit hard and effective * New Pics after foliar Update Folks its taken 8 weeks and a final piece of the puzzle provided by Grey_wolf resulted in a near full strength cal-mag foliar feeding and the last def bites the dust. See what happens from here but its the first time I have felt good about this grow since the bad time germing at week one. *big sigh of relief* Have a whole list of things I will never do again in soil more about that at harvest. Right now I need to work on why calcium is blocked at the roots but thats another day right now I just wanna look at em. 😁 11/22 Another foliar feed same as before just diluted 30% and all three got it today JIC Cannot find a pale leaf or top and hairs are standing up on the top buds for once and buds building nice on the lower ares the defs were cleared up first. Going to stop the foliars for a few days see what happens but will resume at first sign of need. Maggie has potential even after all this and we going to help her be all she can :D 11/22 Feeding day - Bio-Bloom 7ml - calmag 4ml - Recharge .5tsp / gal at 6.5PH to all three. No foliar today 11/23 The thickness of the hair growth on Layla is amazing! Will try and get pics at lights out of it if my crappy camera will catch it. Got on top of the Cal/Mag looks lush now an gave them a nice defol for the last time, got to be my favourite strain grown so far... In week 5 of flowering, the buds all over becoming thicker.😁 some new buds growing in new places like along the main cola. With buds blooming, the plants will get fatter every day. This is a surefire sign they are in full flowering mode. Really starting to have a very intense odour🧐🤓 Some of the plants’ previous white pistil hairs are now turning darker into a brownish or amber colour. At the same time, and the trichomes on the beauties ohh there starting to become opaque. The trichomes becoming milky white and the hairs turning darker, ooh man I cant wait 🤤🤯💚

This grow took me around 12 weeks to complete. I harvested at about 80 days and got some beautiful dense nugs. I have found growing autos in DWC allows to get amazing results. During this grow I started feeding bloom nutrients at a much earlier stage to try and make them available as soon as the plant can use them. I also found this didn’t effect my stretch much and allowed for a whole lot of bud sites. Take note that most micro nutrient lines contain a lot of nitrogen and when the autos start making bud sites you can cut the grow nutrients much earlier. I had pretty good results with micro and bloom during the early flower stage. I also found that by gradually removing certain growth and not adding too much stress, the strain reacts pretty well. If you do decide to do a heavier defoliation, rather do it after the plant has completed its stretch. This will help not shock and stunt growth during vegetative stage. I would personally recommend to try and scrog this strain of grown in dwc for even larger yields as I removed quite a lor of growth during my grow. I will definitely make use of this for my next grow. At the middle of the flowering stage I installed a dehumidifier and tried to keep it between 45-55% RH. My temperatures were consistently between 20-27 degrees as I ran a 24h light cycle. I also made use of a mycelium bag for some added Co2 which I found worked well. I am overly satisfied with the yield and density of these flower and would recommend Fastbuds genetics to anyone looking to grow their own. High quality and very high yielding plant.
