Day 21 From Sprout - Rez Change Overall, very happy with the development over this past week. The ones that were already looking good at now looking great! The couple of “weirdos” (strange development of leaf/node placement) both have decent roots but are growing slowly. The couple that initially were throwing out more “jagged” leaves seemed to have settled in and are looking good now. Only 1 (back right corner) is iffy. Roots are slowwwwly dropping out of the basket but not yet in the water. Going to keep It around for now and see what happens. Continuing with Mantis @ the “always” rate of 5 ml/L. They’re loving it! Several of the “great ones” have 5-6 nodes developed, so I’ll top them back to the 3rd more and start training into a manifold since I’m going to give some of the others time to catch up. I’ll decide on training for them as we go.

Blue Mammoth is 3 months old today and was harvested today. 440 grams wet (untrimmed and still on the branches). Going to try drying with the leaves on, then doing a dry trim this time. She smells sweet and fruity. I'll post the harvest info after she has dried and cured.

Opium is quite fantastic, the incredible storms have not harmed her in any way and she is booming the blooming stage! Aside from a few dark spots on her leaves there are not any complaints from us and if you could smell how delicious her aroma is, you would understand why. Our only addition to the weekly maintenance has been Epsom salts in the rain barrel, Opium also had a one time dusting of coffee grounds to the top of her soil bed. Our only worry is the weather this year, the storms have been fierce and the rain will not let up. Our temperatures at night are quite low already, the two biggest fears for an outdoor grow is bud rot and or not finishing before the frost arrives. We are confident that our Opium will be fine although only time will tell.

Herrrrro gang! Welcome to another week of Daank's grow! 8/2: Brought back the Great White. I was reading that it works well in conjunction with other root excelurators, like Rapid Start. I got 2 more temp/humidity sensors for the tent. It allows me to keep track of 100% of what is really going on, I find it to take away worry (b/c temps are very important!). Today was a "eureka!" moment in terms of understanding run-off pH and it's value to telling the grower how healthy the plant is and what nutes may, or may not, be needed. I also got some new LED glasses so I don't burn my fucking corneas when tending to the garden - they are phenomenal and I suggest them if you grow with an LED. Check the videos and photos. Pistils are growing rapidly and baby budlets are starting to form. I'm actually getting a nice subtle purple color - it's very neat. Today's run-off pH was 6.3, and I gave it 6.3 for water - so that's a good sign (I bounce the pH all around from 5.5-6.3). I'll keep track of this moving forward in the diary. Minor defoliation. ***Pro-Tip: If you're wondering what the run-off should be... around +.5/-.5 of what you put in is good. By the end of this week I assume we'll be in full swing. Day 39: I have ordered new nutes, Advanced Nutrients. The reviews, photos, and research all point to using this for the best results. I found them to be a bit expensive, but if I can always get perfect pH values without much of a hassle... I'm down. They will be here by end of the week and I'll transition that over this weekend. I can't wait. Day 40: 8/6 - Advanced Nutrient nutes arrive today. Watering will be a pleasure. The plants look great. The buds are real. Small smell. Trimmed last night quite a bit for bud production. They love George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". It perks 'em up.

Tops are really showing now not having any issues so far

Week 5 temperature increased to 30c and RH reduced to 55%. We decreased the distance of the light from 50cm to 35cm. We ve seen a big stretch this week. We increased the dose of the base nutes and we applied topping and HST( super cropping) last week in 2 of the 3 crystal meth. In the rest of the plants we plan to only use defoliation. Crystal meth and Fastberry appear to be the most mature in the tent even though they are different phenos. Gorilla glue (2x the same pheno) with jack 47 (4x the same pheno) are following. Cream mandarin XL (x4 same pheno) are the tallest plants and they just started to burst pistils. Girl scout cookies are the least mature plants.

It is a day one of the 6th week. I watered the plants and started adding B’cuzz Silic Boost. Also made some beautiful photos under a white light and I am really happy with the plats progress. 👍 Two days after watering and spraying with the fresh water added with vita race the plants are super gorgeous and they are growing in size acchieving 60 cm in height. Buda are getting bushier as well. 😻 I am a little worried by the fact that some of the plants tend to curl their leaves down just before the light turns off. After six hours of night plants look healthy again. Could that be connected to the distance between te lamp and the plant which is diminishing as the plants grow? Thanks for suggestions😊

Esta fue su última semana con nutrientes, no engordo mucho, creo que mi error fue excederme con los nutrientes a lo largo de su ciclo, yo aproximo que me dará unos 50 gramos masomenos, no es mucho pero es trabajo honesto jaja 😆 la próxima semana será de puro flush ya para darle corte

So far so good. She seems to have survived the short drought and is standing up straight again. She hasn't really grown in size, so I'm still a bit worried the tap root might've suffered some drought stress or even got damaged. But other than that, she looks good - healthy and vital. I've added some mulch (finally!!) which, besides benefitting the microbes in the soil, should also slow down the evaporation process and help with moisture control. Topping her on Day 15 is a bit of a gamble, maybe it was a little early - removing the sun-sail fan leafs is quite a risk as well, so I'll have to observe her even more cautiously than I do anyways. Hope she bounces back alright!

Finally the stretched stopped. Cut about 10 tops bent about 20 with 90s. Still right in the lights. They are looking very happy even though they are so close to the light ( thanks to high c02 levels most likely.) Another week or 2 before I cut the temps and co2 levels down. Been trimming all leaves below light line. Stinky and brutally sticky I feel like Clark griswold with pine sap when ever I am bending the tops and such.. I think even with them being in the lights I will still get a few pounds of premium flower to smoke :)

So we are in week 2 of flower I ran out of Dutch pro and my hydro shop didn't have any in stock so I had to swap to canna 450ml A&B I've also added some bud blood. So today I did some defoliation to anything below my scrog net and tucked some of the bigger fan leaves to expose the new bud sites. I also raised my light a few inches to allow the ladies to grow into it. 21/5/21 The girls are growing fast I did some defoliation 2 days ago and I had to repeat today 26/5/21 Took some fan leaves off that where blocking bud sites only a small handful needed to be removed, I gave them a feed ppm 946 ph 6.3, bud sites are looking nice and healthy I've got plenty of air flow throughout my tent, have yet to notice any aroma but still very early days. Le 48ème jour se déroule avec grâce, malgré un léger obstacle : une carence en calcium touchant l'une de nos chères plantes. Heureusement, avec une dose ajustée de calcium, j'espère avoir rectifié ce déséquilibre, veillant à ce que notre verdoyante compagne retrouve son équilibre nutritionnel. Cette plante, bien que modeste en taille, se distingue par sa structure compacte et robuste. Ses fleurs commencent à se parer d'une riche couche de trichomes, scintillant de promesses et de potentiel. Je poursuivrai l'apport méticuleux de nutriments, dansant délicatement sur la ligne fine entre suffisance et excès. L'objectif reste clair : nourrir sans surcharger, pour éviter tout risque de brûlure par excès de nutriments. Au regard de l'état actuel de notre protégée, je prévois qu'elle atteint son apogée dans les 9 à 10 semaines. Remarque : carence en calcium a la 5/6e semaines rectifié avec l'ajout de CallMag La plante présente un grand nombre de trychomes et des feuilles violacée sur le dessous. Engrais : moitié de la dose recommandée en NPK pour corriger les carences, a vérifier si brûlures.
