seeds: Montel Iced Tea, Body Count, Bubbles Blueberry F4, Ricky’s Hash Plant, Black Tangi Tea → standouts / "otherworldly" These are clearly your current stars — better structure, resin, and overall quality than most of the others you've tried. Auto Flowers: Humboldt Seed Company — best autos you've grown. Extremely resinous, especially the OG Triploid. Top tier for autos. Fast Buds — very close second. Super fast, nice flavors, reliable. You like them a lot but note they're in a different class (not fair to directly compare to Humboldt). Why RQS Strains Underperformed The 7/10 rating and "needed a lot of power to switch to flower" comment is classic for some RQS genetics, especially certain autos or hybrids. Possible reasons: Genetics: Some RQS lines are finicky about light schedules or have slower/more reluctant flowering responses. Mike Tyson 2.0 and Corkscrew apparently needed the 12/12 flip to finally push. Light/Environment: With five tents running, light penetration, spectrum, or intensity might not have been ideal for these particular strains. Autos can be sensitive to stress during the transition. Nutrient response: They may have needed more phosphorus/potassium or different ratios to bulk up properly. The fact that you had to force Corkscrew into 12/12 at week 20 and it's now only "OK" suggests it was a slower or lower-yielding pheno for your conditions. Strong Performers Brothers Grimm → These sound like the real winners in your tent right now. Brothers Grimm has a reputation for unique, high-quality landrace-influenced genetics with excellent resin and flavor profiles. "Otherworldly better" is high praise — they clearly thrive in your setup. Humboldt Seed Company autos → Excellent choice for resin production. OG Triploid is a standout for trichome density. Fast Buds → Reliable, fast, flavorful — a safe, consistent auto line. Recommendations Going Forward Double down on what works: Keep running more Brothers Grimm (especially the ones you loved). Stick with Humboldt for autos when you want maximum resin. Fast Buds for speed and flavor. 3/30 4am Pink Kush CBD is SLOW.... she never really recovered from early problems, I LOVE this strain, smoke and smell are 10/10. One week left on the 2 that are already in flower. The third just started flowering in its 7th week for some reason. This was a decent grow. I learned a lot by messing up a lot. I’m most definitely a newbie. Will be doing another run on these immediately. Have to test my skills to have it grow faster and yield more. Thank you all who has followed our journey.

March 17, Day 76: As written I collected the last three plants. At the moment I got a partial of 224 grams from the first three plants and I think of doubling with the last three. Among the latter is the plant with the largest bud which obviously becomes my favorite. This time I managed to take photographs of the plants before cutting them. With these last three plants I got the most productive plant, the one with the largest bud and the one with the longest bud 😉 For a final report on this strain: The Gorilla by RQS is an excellent strain for anyone who loves a high THC content and I particularly recommend it to growers who pass for the first time from photoiperiods to autoflowering. You will grow very large and very productive plants very similar to photoperiodic ones. This strain branches out a lot and must be defoliated and de-branched. You can grow it well with the SCROG technique, but if like me you have no space problems you can also use the Sea Of Green technique. In conclusion I want to thank all the growers who have followed this my first diary to which I have a happy growth! A big thanks also to GrowDiaries and to the whole team for having created the best social network dedicated to the world of growers 👏💪😉 March 24 Final Report: Hi growers, with this last post I'm going to close my first diary. First I have to say that I am very satisfied with the total harvest, from the last three plants I got 369 grams which added to the 224 of the previous harvest make a total of 593 grams. I started this diary with 8 Gorillas and 2 Cheese. 6 Gorillas completed their cycle in the same time frame, the 2 remaining gorillas showed a photoperiodic genetic predominance, one of them is in an advanced flowering phase while the last one after three months still shows only a few pistils. I'll probably kill her, and move on by putting new seeds in the soil. Unfortunately, where I live is illegal to grow marijuana, otherwise I would have simply moved outdoors, but I can't and must be ruthless. Regarding the two cheeses there is not much left at the end of their cycle and I started to give only water to one of the two plants. Good and happy growth to all! 😜

Week 4 these girls have exceeded my expectations, there ready for the outdoor flower. Can't wait to see the outcome, I haven't had any deficiencies in my veg from being patient any letting nature take place.

Week 10...The plants are looking good! Took out the microscope to look at the trichomes...Starting to get milky but still another week or two before the harvest! Started flushing the plant this week!

I’ve been experimenting with solar powered lights for an extended vegetative period…so far she looks extremely healthy…I Defoliated the lower branches and moulded her also.

3x3 TENT HARVEST UPDATE - all four girls started from clone were harvested after trichome check of mostly cloudy with 15-20% amber (after only 42 days from switch). Harvested on 12/3 and jarred after 8 and 10 day dry times. Roughly four ounces of some really sticky and stinky buds. So, while girls were not big producers, the quality is primo! Glad I took cuttings of the G-41, Frosty Gelato, and Black Cherry Gas. These are the first additions to new mother tent. 2x2 Tent (8 clones and 1 Afgooey Auto) - During the week clones began showing signs of revegging. Should be ready to transplant by weeks end. Afgooey is just now starting to pre flower, which is completely opposite of her two sisters, which only vegged 3 weeks before going into flower. Gave her a good defoliation, since she is squatty, bushy and generally growing more like a true indica. Transferred clones and Auto to the 3x3 tent at weeks end. 2x4 Tent (French Macaron WK5F) - Dealing with huge Ph swing in an organic soil grow. Ph reading below 5. Began ph'ing at 7.0 - 7.5 to slowly adjust her back to normal. Transferred the two Afgooey Autos into 3x3 tent at weeks end. 3x3 Tent (3 Afgooey Autos WK3F & 8 clone varieties) - Transferred all three Afgooey Autos under Mars-Hydro FC-E3000 set at roughly 75% or roughly 500-600 PPFDs. Transplanted 8 clones from dixie cups to 1 gallon pots with PPFDs roughly 300-400. Ph'd and watered autos and clones.
