Day 42 - Kinda crazy how fast it's gotten to be day 42 (the meaning of life - *) in the grow. Haven't watered yet. Plan on doing that with the above nutrient schedule tomorrow or the day after. And I think that might be the last time I give any nutrients to the plant. Pistils are beginning to curl, and I've seen (just a few) amber tirchomes on one bud. I want to harvest on the earlier side because I don't want this harvest to have a big couch-lock effect. Prefer a more cerebral high, although some bodily relaxation is nice too. So I think I will be harvesting at the latest by April 10th (Day 56). Of course I will continue to watch how the plant develops and if no further trichomes are turning yellow/brown in a week, I'll wait longer. The trichomes on the sugar leaves have a wonderful lemon citrus smell by the way. Not what I was expecting, but that's fine 😛 Day 45 - Made a video of the trichomes. They definitely look cloudy enough to me. No more nutes for sure, harvest in 10 days max I think.

25/07/25: Another week in the books, and the ladies are progressing—slowly but surely. Bud development is moving along, though the cool and cloudy German "summer" isn't exactly speeding things up. Fingers crossed for a bit more sunshine in august to help ripen those buds and add some extra weight before harvest!🤞🏼☀️ Other than that, not much to report this week—no major changes or issues. Just letting nature do it's thing! 🌿

I was getting kind of bored with Autos, so I decided to try out my first Photo Run. I had 2 autos going when I got these beans in the mail, so I gave them away because I couldn't wait to try a photo. I started her in a glass of water, and then transferred her to a solo cup. I am planning to transfer her to a 5.4 Gallon Airpot around day 21 or so. I am also hoping to build my first Mainline, as I have only been running Manifolds on the autos due to time constraints. My plan is to only grow one plant and spread her out and try to fill a 4X4 tent with fat sticky colas. I will use super-cropping, LST, defoliation, and lollipopping in addition to building the mainline. I learned alot from growing autos, but now I feel like its time to try out Photoperiods. The seeds of Red Pure CBD showed impressive vigor right from the start. After just 32 hours of being planted, they had successfully germinated, with small, healthy roots emerging from each seed. Following germination, the seedlings were given their first exposure to light at the 44-hour mark. At this stage, they appeared strong and well-prepared for the vegetative phase. The rapid germination and early light exposure have set a promising foundation for the growth journey ahead.

So the grow cycle was pretty easy. I work away from home and I sometimes have to leave for 4 days in a row. Before I'd leave for the four days I'd just add 4-6 cups of RO water with some Cal-Mag. When I can back she was always bigger and didn't have any problems. I was lazy this time and never checked the PH of the water. This strain is pretty resilient so props to sweet seeds. I decided not to LST this plant, it was a little taller than I wanted but grew in a nice shape. I still cant believe how purple this strain is. I started to get foxtailing on the top bud not sure what would cause that. Once again sorry for the lack of pictures. I'll let you know the smoke report later.

It’s week 2 already. Week 2 is maybe, maybe, the most important week of the plants life. Time to turn the humidity down based on the temperature your room holds, with as much light as you can create. Now is also the time to introduce co2…as long as your humidity and temperature is right and there’s LOTS OF LIGHT. Co2+light=photosynthesis, and in a perfect world your temp is 78 degrees, humidity 50-55%. These are the only things that matter now. These plants are killing it right now growing visible amounts in just a few days. Every thing was pulled off the plant that is under the netting. While the plants were stretching everything was forced back under the net for the 1st 10 days of flower. Then everything is allowed to grow vertically for the rest of flower. At the end of week 2 is super important. I let the plants dry all the way out. If you think they are dry, wait another day. This is to get as much oxygen to the root zone as possible. Then I flush the plants with 1.0 EC that consists of 50ml/10gal cal mag, 50ml/10gal of sturdy stalk(potassium silicate) and 50ml/10gal of canna pk13/14. Canna pk13/14 is the only non Emerald Harvest product I’ve used in the last 3 years. After the dry out/1.0ec flush of the plants we push the plants with daily 2.0ec feedings until it’s time to flush with fresh water the last week or so of its life. She looks super small to be 22 days old,I don't know what went wrong man, I did my job just like always do,she's in a very good super soil mix with guano,humus, beneficial bacteria,mycorrizae,I just don't know why she did not develop properly, will see how she ends up.
