Hey Guys! Super excited this week! I've really been wanting to try growing outdoors, so I built a cheap hoop house! Got most of this stuff for the frame from Lowes under 300$. All the soil products I got from GrowGreenMI. Some really cool people out there. One thing I'm super worried about is drainage. Right now those holes are about 4 feet deep and they've got about 4 inches of water in them already. What's been cautioned is that, eventually, about 2 months in these plants roots will grow and reach the bottom and cause root rot to form. One of the biggest things I was trying to be wary of was causing root rot. This was also the biggest precautionary measure I took when mixing the soil. Adding the extra perlite, coco, and clay pebbles. Best advice right now is to build the soil up on the holes another 16 to 18 inches and possible stick a PVC pipe down to the lowest drainage point of the hole to allow some of that natural occurring water to evaporate. Any advice anyone has on it is welcomed! Making a compost tea for the soil outdoors, will probably put 2 cups in each RDWC bucket as well and let that do it's magic for a day or so before nutrient change. Raised the bed about 14 inches as well! All the seeds sank! Off to a good start! Lol

Last week we noticed one of the ladies had begun to show sex. A couple calyxes with barely visible white hairs coming out of them. Seeing as there's no electricity where the garden is located we opted for a 1500 lumen LED lantern, that we turn on at 11:pm every night for about 40 minutes to and hour. This seemed to have done the trick as no more hairs have been seen and the vegging process is back on track.

Hello Growmies, As we round up week 5 with our Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrid by Zamnesia, the growth has been nothing short of impressive. The choice to employ low-stress training (LST) rather than topping has paid dividends, with the plants responding well to the gentle guidance of their growth, seamlessly integrating into the SCROG setup. This method has allowed for an even canopy spread, optimal light penetration, and air flow, which is critical for the health of the plants and ultimately the yield. Observing the Watermelon Candy's development, we see a testament to our cultivation methods. The vibrant green leaves reaching skywards, the sturdy stems, and the strategic placement of each branch in the SCROG—every detail points towards a successful vegetative phase. In terms of environmental control, we've applied the lessons learned from our other strains, maintaining a stable and ideal VPD during the day with the Tent-X system. The nights, however, have brought forth the same challenges we've faced with other strains, showing fluctuations in VPD levels. The integration of the Smart Mars Hydro fan into the Tent-X system is anticipated to solve this, and we are optimistic that this change will bring about the consistent conditions needed for the Watermelon Candy's continual thriving. Even with the small hiccup in the nighttime environmental control, the plants are flourishing. The robust health they exhibit is a sign they're ready for the flowering phase, and we expect nothing less than a bountiful harvest. And while we've experienced a bit of frustration with Secret Jardin and Mars Hydro for the integration challenges, we appreciate TrolMaster's efforts to assist. We are hopeful for a resolution soon, or we may revert to the reliable Prima Klima setup. Esta variedad me encanta, huelen genial y sus cogollos son super densos y llenos de resina siempre. Poca tolerancia a los excesos y es muy fácil de estresar. A pesar de todo sigue siendo una de mis variedades favoritas ya que su aroma old school con toques ácidos me fascina!. Actualizaré luego del secado y después notas de humo. Saludos!

Questa settimana si è slanciata veramente molto! Me lo aspettavo già in quanto non è la prima volta che la coltivo, ecco perché ho deciso precedentemente di effettuare 3 topping consecutivi! Ha reagito veramente molto bene ha continuato la sua vegetazione normalmente senza blocchi e durante la 4 settimana si prepara per il fiore! Adoro le genetiche di Fast buds! Ancor di più la FORBIDDEN RUNTZ AUTO! Per questo ciclo di crescita ho voluto fare un cambio radicale nella sua dieta, ho cambiato marca di fertilizzanti passando da plagron (con il quale collaboravo a CANNABOOM!) semplicemente perché ho potuto constatare i loro pregiatissimi prodotti! Dopo un accurato studio si ogni componente ho voluto fare questo cambio....che dire!!! Menomale!!! Raga veramente dopo la seconda applicazione la pianta e praticamente esplosa in ogni suo potenziale ,parli veramente di ogni cosa! Altezza, Internodi , calici sparsi ovunque, si iniziano a intravedere intricominsulle foglie a ventaglio!!!! Le foglie sono grandi quanto la mia mano😂 ho fatto un po' di pulizia fogliare e per adesso la lascerò crescere così togliendo solo qualche foglia qua e la ogni tanto quando ci sarà bisogno... ringrazio molto cannaboom per i loro prodotti che volevo consigliare a tutti voi e vorrei ringraziare anche fast buds per questa genetiche che non finisce mai di sorprendermi! Plant is still tiny, grew 5cm / 2". It looks like it's slowly dying. The original leaves at the bottom went brown so I removed them. Some of the upper ones don't look great either. It's not a calcium deficiency. The bottom of the pot was very dry so I rinsed the soil with plain water. The dryness is the result of: A) me having to add a heater B) the blumat auto watererers focussing the wanter in specific areas. The roots clump around the waterers thus everything else drys up. I need to water directly from now on and look to fix this problem going forward.

Doing her thing. I gave her quite a heavy trim, noticed a LOT of leaves around main cola. Hopefully light can penetrate into the main cola now. Trichomes going cloudy now.

Empezamos a darle el OVERDRIVE así que en esta semana vamos a engordar un poco. Igual le voy a hacer en estos días una poda selectiva de hojas porque está muy verde, igual le saco un beneficio. Muy vigorosas las ramas laterales, un olor potente y mucho potencial por sacarle. Estoy muy entusiasmado. Un abrazo gente ya les mandaré los adelantos.

Eccoci qui... Settimana prossima si tagliaaaaa!!!! Finalemente siamo arrivati alla fine con questa piccola mi sono divertito è stato bellissimo coltivarla outdoor, è venuta bassa ma molto molto compatta!!! Grazie a tutti per il supporto

Let's see how it goes. I raised up the water so it is now 150ml 2x per plant so 300 per plant per day. The same with fertilization and the same days remain. I keep 14 hours darkness and 10 hours light schedule for Purple Punch obviously I take out from the tent and put separately. I can't wait to harvest the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe so I can use the tent for the Purple Punch. I give 18 hours light on so 12 hours on 4 hours off and 6 hours on 2 hours off. Basically, it was the only solution because I put the Purple Punch in at 23:00 o clock and take out at 9 am. So the light on from 23:00 to 11 am and then 15:00-21:00 and off from 21:00 to 23:00. It was the only good way based on my timeline working hours and school. I also see the first signs of flowering after 7 days of light schedule change of the Purple Punch. Hope it goes well. They have a totally different smell, both strong, but the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is like sweet and aromatic, and also like a muck heap 🤐😅👻The Purple Punch has strong smell but not sweet more like citrus. Saturday: I always had some yellow fan leaves but now it is getting more on the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe. Hopefully, it causes the flowering stage because the plant wants to use the energy for buds making and takes out of the leaves, so it is a natural process. I read that it means the plant is on the halfway of the flower. Hope the best. Tuesday: Purple Punch does well flowering, and the Gelato Cookie D'ohpe I think one more week so I will start flushing from tomorrow. I have checked the trichomes, they are cloudy, milky and the pistils started getting brown also so soon it will be done. The fan leaves also getting yellow as it can be seen so I think the next is the final week, if not then no more than 2 weeks and it is done. I can't really wait... End of this week Gelato Cookie D'ohpe is 70cm and the Purple Punch is 40 cm.
