04/29/2021 New week and she is doing lovely! New pistils are popping up everywhere and she is starting to get a faint smell I can't yet figure out how to describe. I believe I got some nice close ups on each top, looking very healthy other plants all have PW on their leaves not a smidgen on this girl, and that is my #1 breeding goal (read my germination period) for my girls. Took two nice tops to clone and Work this cross, time to pop some more seeds of this batch and find a good male, and females that exhibit traits I desire, and continue to resist PW!!!🙏 Goal#2 More sativa stretch than my short, Cookie Cake genotype.

7/24/23 - Day 42 - Ok, so where to start? I'm going to go over the last couple days of issues/troubleshooting. We had an issue with the lights not coming on for a whole day/night cycle. That was a couple of days ago, and everything seems okay since then. I had some Canoeing/tacoing on the leaves once the lights were back on. I think I had the PH too low, 5.8. In flower, I should start moving it up the scale. Once I corrected the PH to 6.2, the canoeing/tacoing in the leaves seemed to be gone/almost gone. I'm REALLY worried about the height of the plant. She is only 12 in. from the light that I cannot move. I added a second scrogg net???? I don't know if that's done a lot, but I'm going to try and stop if from growing straight up. I think the best I can do is give it a lean. So Ill call this the ScoggGL (GangstaLean). You'll see some pictures up top as I start the ScoggGL I did the first big trim and pulled a 3-gallon bucket of fan leaves out. I cut off a few side branches I didn't want the plant to waste energy on. I trimmed so many leaves off it was crazy. The smells have been awesome! You all know the smell of the fresh plant stems and leaves as you trim and rub across them. It's one of my favorite smells, which is in full effect. I noticed that I have some pistils growing. I know what that means, shes going to have some flowers here in the next week. I couldn't be more excited!!!!! The roots are just downright ruthless; they have been growing out of control. I have a great picture of them in there with no water. I should note that I did two things that might have solved the Tacoing in the leaves. It could have been one or the other, but it also could be a combo of both things. I did the trimming to get some airflow between the leaves and changed the target for my PH from 5.8 to 6.2. When moving into flowering, I should have already done that. But I did both things while the leaves were Tacoing, and now they are not. I wanted to make sure I noted that. 7/26/23 - Day 44 - Things are looking great. No more tacoing, she's growing and still drinking about 2+ gallons a day of water. I hope the vertical growth stops soon, I want to remove a ton more fan leaves, and I'm hoping that it spends more time growing around than up, I'm keeping some leaves on just to slow some vertical growth. 7/27/23 - Day 45 - She's sleeping right now, but I will chop some more fan leaves when she wakes up. She's growing too tall, and I need to find a way to stop her. I think shocking her system will help stunt her growth. How crazy is this, what a conundrum I'm in. Normally I stress out trying to find the right time to trim to avoid stunting growth. I always keep my plants busy and do one or two chops. I think they need to grow as mother nature intended. Let them grow and do one, maybe two fan leave chops. That's always been my motto and its always worked out great for me. This is now the exact opposite. Feels weird even thinking about it, doing a leave chop two weeks into flower..... ARE YOU INSANE!!!!!! Lol The 2nd chop has happened. I took a ton of fan leaves off. It's time for the plant to slow down heal and start working on the buds! Let's see how this goes over the next couple of days. I added a timelapse of me chopping her up. 7/28/23 - Day 46 - After adding more water last night, I was checking PH, and I did a quick check on the ppm from the nutes. If it went from 600ppm down to 130ppm in a couple of days. So we decided to give her another dose of nutes so she has something to eat. I'll update you after she wakes up for the day. 420Fastbuds FBT2313/Week5 What up grow fam. Sorry for the late weekly update but was having some technical difficulties. This week has been eventful to say the least. My heater went out letting my Temps drop to high 40'f for a night or two and wow did the plants tell me they're angry. Definitely starting to bounce back but just goes to show the reselants of Fastbuds genetics. I lollipoped and did one more defoliation this week so hopefully flower stage will be smooth sailing. All in all Happy Growing

Así que por lo seguro y porque las temperaturas en Mayo ya se encuentran tirando a lo veraniego, es llegada la hora de empezar a plantear el cambio de ciclo lumínico y tirar de la floración. Si es verdad que pudiéramos arrastrar el ciclo de 18/6 más unas tres semanas y esperar al casi medio medio de crecimiento vegetativo para con eso tener un cultivar con estructura a un grow más foliado, pero la estructura de la planta es quien al final dita las reglas y en una semana, iremos a cambio de luces de 12/12 a la octava semana de vegetativo, para después tener ocho más en mínimo de floración y las 16/17 semanas finales, con la estructura que hemos trabajado con los toppings y con la defolación de lo no necesario y seguramente tendremos una planta épica. Me planteo desde la tercera semana con un olor muy particular y eso es algo que me tiene en atención máxima cuanto a una posible explosión de aromas en la área de grow. Esta temporada ya en una parte de mi apartamento tengo conectado un ozonizador que resulta muy efectivo con los olores y será importante cara a la floración de la amiguita "serpiente enplumada". Después y como podéis ver en las fotos y el vídeo que hice, es muy visible que la estructura para el crecimiento de flores se ha echo con maestría y todo lo sobrante en las partes bajas, no sigue ahí. Así que a lo cierto y con dios Jah en el comando, la próxima semana - o sea- el miércoles 17, y justamente con 8 semanas de vegetativo, cambiaremos el reloj a 12/12 y con eso empieza, oficialmente, la floración. Las espectativas las mejores, la forma de nutrirla y regarla, inmejorable y condiciones óptimas para que a mediados del mes de julio, ya la tengamos con flush y lista a secado y con el secado de verano, tendremos un "fumito de la madre hostia que la parió"...como me encantan las fotodependientes y sobretodo lo que me pone loco de alegria, las ecuaciones donde todo lo que haces en el momento x te sale en previsión en el momento y y al final, la z es sobretodo la calidad de otro nivel que se obtiene...las automáticas son bromas si las comparamos a lo maravilloso que la expresión de las fotodependientes te termina dando. A todos los hermanos growers, green greets y sabiduría, paciencia y evolución...y mucho amor a lo verde que planta todo el universo... Seguimos juntos...

grow room adjustments this week. plants are now more spread out under a total of 5 600w HPS lights. 3 fastbuds plants have an additional 45w LED light. by week 3/4 they will occupy my whole grow space and an additional 3 600w HPS lights will be added. Plants are looking healthy and 10 or so have been topped for the first time on day 8. dinafem cookies are looking very good in structure. will upload pics every day until harvest! thanks for looking. UPDATE day 12 veg, they are looking beautiful better than i expected. there are 36 in 15litre pots now and i cant wait to make my final grow room upgrage next week and for my room to be looking like a forest! im hoping for 2-3kg off these girls and only time will tell. i will keep doing daily updates until harvest

Tropicanna Poison XL Auto- Outside W10F6 8/17-23 This past week has been rainy and overcast from a tropical storm with temperatures mostly in the upper 80s. We have Hurricane Erin approaching the Bahamas heading northeast with wind gusts of 30-40 MPH. While we won’t be directly hit by the storm, we will get the outer bands of heavy winds and rain. To protect my plants, I brought all the girls inside on Tuesday 19th in preps for the storm. I inspected each one for bugs, rot or anything unusual. She is free and clear of any rot or bugs 8/19 Tropicanna Poison XL auto is 53 days from germination. Sweet Seeds says 60-75 days to harvest so she needs about a week more. Next week with the hurricane approaching, we are expecting rain for most of the week. Given the pending weather conditions for the next couple of weeks, the remainder of the grow will be in the tent where I can control the environment. I also will be using the air conditioner to drop nighttime temperature and maybe bring out pink and red colors. The stems show pink so I’m hopeful. 21.11.2512 days dry. I suffered some bud rot so my final weight of 189 is inaccurate, also there is still trim on weed. But you can clearly see she is a high yeilder. I had to tie the dehumidifier high up in the tent so that the heat coming from it would not dry out the buds like what happened in my 1st grow, Wurlz F1 by Zamnesia. She is very sticky. She smells like when you pull on a THC vape.
