[ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

I mean, overall this was an extremely painless grow. The test of whether we should or shouldn't top autos is still TBD imo. Our topped candidate produced denser, frostier buds, but weighed slightly less, at 14 grams of bud total. And our lst plant produced 18 grams of bud, not as frosty, and almost as dense as our topped girl. I'll be topping autoflowers from here on out only under the circumstance I have 4+ to grow at the same time. Seems like it could be used to speed up the autoflower grow cycle if done properly, like with right. Since I'm doing a perpetual cycle, it's still a viable option for me in the long run. A few tips I have for anyone growing this strain in organics: Start feeding bloom nutes a little bit prior to flower transition - this makes the transition more seemless. From weeks 1-3 flower, I slowly dropped the grow dosage until I cut off grow nutes week 3 flower. Starting the flush around week 6 flower seemed to really bring out this plant's potential. But I think you could get away with starting the flush around week 5. I hope this helps anyone trying this strain out. It's a good one, I hope to see more journals of it, eventually. Cheers everyone! Good week. Lots of rain, OG shot up 6" to a whopping 68". Everybody happy and well hydrated. I used to have a perspective on how big these will get but now I have no idea whatsoever, lol. I know they'll fill out during flower but will they just keep going up indefinitely? Thanks for looking Happy Growing!

Hung up my new California Lightworks UVB supplement light. I think I originally hung it a bit too close (18 inches from canopy) based on the subtle color change in the leaves, so I raised it up to 24" above the canopy. I was most certainly skeptical, since this is my first time using UVB, but even over the course of its first week under the bulbs I've notice a visible increase in trichomes. Now I guess won't know whether or not this would have happened anyway, but the sticky diamond coated buds sure are making me smile. 😁

A sad week, I found bud rot and had to take my plants out and do a big check and remove all dense underdeveloped growth. It will be a pretty big hit on the yield I guess but the most important thing is learning and that I did. The bud rot could spread due to my RH being 65/70 at nights and it used to be +80 before, + bad airflow. I got new fans in the tent and my dehumidifier was ordered already but its not in yet. On the other side, the plants are looking pretty damn good, they smell amazing and 3 of the 4 plants is getting a very dense nug structure.

15th week for my 3 girls The buds are swelling day by day, the trichos are quite milky. The nute burn gave me a hard time... (see video) I managed to regulate the pH of the affected plant, before the flowers were also affected by the burn; I take care to decrease the humidity and to ventilate well to avoid the moulding of the burnt leaves. I was going to do a final watering with fertiliser before starting a 10-15 day flush; plant B will only get clear water ;) I'm too close to get rid of it; I'll keep a close eye on it, and if necessary I'll harvest it before the others. I'm still confident: it will produce maybe less than the others, but its power shouldn't be affected too much.

This new Banana version is just incredible! I’ve grown the original before, both in soil and in coco, but this RF3 really blew me away 😮 I ended up with two distinct phenos. One turned out purple with amazing tropical fruit and citrus terps super vibrant and exotic. The other one stayed green and was my personal favorite, completely covered in an insane layer of trichomes, with rich banana bread terps that really stood out.🍌🍊🍋 Both phenos were top quality, but that green one was on another level.✔️

Bien aquí esta el día esperado la cosecha, es mi primer cultivo y considero que lo logre. En muchos medios de lectura y en especial en vídeos mencionan que no puedes esperar mucho es tu primer cultivo. En mi caso es falso y lo demuestro ya que si aprendes, investigas por cuenta y lees lo suficiente, obtendrás un alto porcentaje de que los resultados se den. Muy contento con mi plantas y sus tonos morados. Puntos a mejorar tener una carpa de cultivo y por su puesto un extractor de humedad para que baje la humedad preferiblemente a 45 grados Vendrán mejores contenidos y cosechas mas abundantes.
