deluxe slurbet are frosting up nicely and drinking about 2-2.3L of water every 2-2.5 days. The GSC are drinking 1/2 that amount and are showing major signs of what I assume to be cal/mag deficiency. I dished out a lot of cash to go with a more “organic” calcium source with Herculean Harvest (1/2 cost was shipping to Canada) but it doesn’t seem to be cutting it. Maybe the issue is Mg. Maybe it’s a disease … as these gsc always seem to have issues.. not sure Fed both cultivars cal mag at day 33

🌱 Grow Journal – Week 8 This week, the plant kept growing steadily and looks healthy overall. She gained almost 8 centimeters in just seven days—that’s more than a centimeter per day, which is a great sign of strong development. I’m planning to work on her structure a little: probably a topping in the coming days, along with a light defoliation. The goal is to open up the canopy, improve airflow, and make sure the light is distributed more evenly, while guiding her growth in a balanced way. The main challenge this week has been the pH. This morning, the reservoir measured 4.8 while the tray was at 5.2, a 0.4 difference. I honestly don’t understand why the drop was so sharp. I had added Athena Balance, which should stabilize the nutrient solution. The only explanation I can see is the heat—we hit almost 31°C this weekend, and I suspect the nutrient solution was heavily affected by the temperature rise. If anyone reading this journal has insights on why this happens, I’d be glad to hear them. It’s a bit frustrating, because Autopots are supposed to make things simple. But in reality, I still need to monitor closely, especially since the coco buffer doesn’t seem to be doing its job properly—or maybe the reservoir just dropped too low and threw everything off. Either way, I’ll stay vigilant. Hopefully, with summer ending and temperatures cooling down, the solution will stabilize and the pH won’t swing so much. On the positive side, I’m still really happy with Athena nutrients. The solution stays crystal clean, no buildup, no deposits, and that makes things a lot easier to manage. So overall: strong growth, healthy plant, but pH management continues to be the main challenge. Let’s see how things evolve next week.

After flushing them and defoliation, they have come back looking much more bushy! I’m definitely happy with how they are coming along, though would like to see some more stretching and growth from the smaller plant. They had their first water in 9 days on the 11th

Hey! My ladies are growing massive!! Tall and bushy! Eventually I had to change the height of the lights as I noticed some signs of hheet stress! After applying that big AC to the room, I could manage the heet but still the plants didn’t like it very much! So Im leave 1Veg/2Bloom lights on for 20h,but increase the lights for a few hours evry one a while to maximum. I also did my last defoliation and made a video for you guys . Best of luck!

The Apple Betty babies have gone through a lot this week 😬After a couple of days of LST, I let them recover for a few days. Once they were looking perky again, I decided to top all three. Day 31 - topped the girls after some deliberation. I had been undecided, ultimately figured that it was best for my situation, whether or not I decide to use my DIY scrog screen. For those unsure of when to top, 5 nodes or true leaf sets seems to work for me. Find the shoot at the very top, make sure it’s got some small shoots on either side started, and snip! It’s that easy. Topping will disrupt the hormones being distributed through the plant instead of the top, and force your plants energy and growth to the lower branches. Not to mention you will now have two main tops growing instead of one 😎 Give the plants some time to recover before doing anything major again, and you should he able to see your plants get bushier instead of taller. Once they were topped I bent and worked all the stems and branches between my fingers making sure to get all of them. As you can tell from the main stalk, the twisting and bending works, she thicc already! I also put their wire ties back on and bent all three over as far as I could get them to go comfortably before feeling like they would snap. This was a lot of stress for these girls, but they have shown they have a great stress response, and recover quickly. Can’t wait till the weekend, my big tent will be cleaned and ready to go for these girls, they are growing so fast! Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨

And then their were two. I culled the last Permanent Apples. Just wasn't happy with what I was seeing. That leaves 2 Apple Junky to finish the run. Obviously two different phenos going on with them. I'm glad I didn't use a 3 gal pot for the big girl. She would have gotten out of control I think.

Picture 1 and second video: 20th and 21st November Plant is looking really healthy so far and can take a decent amount of Water and Nutrients. Also the first Pistols are showing up! pictures and video (3-5): 25th November Plant made a good stretch and reached a height of 145cm. Looking like a bonsai tree right now. Gave her 10l with a 2.3EC on the 24th and she is looking very healthy! I’m looking to thin her up a bit at thursday (day 21) to get some light penetration. I will also do some lollipopping to get this plant to its full potential. pictures and video (6-9) 28th November Gave her a really aggressive cut/lollipopping and deployed the scrog net… also did a little lst to get an even canopy. Day 66 ... the weather get´s more worst too cloudy and cold at night 😱😫😵... so i decide to harvest today 😃👍 Now "Hilde 2.0" is hanging in the dark in the basement and can dry... I'm curious to see how the harvest turns out 😃🙌🙏 Day 2 drying in the dark 😃👍 Day 3 still in the darkroom 😜👍 Day 4 drying out go on and i think 8 or 10 days to go 😉 Day 5 drying is not finished... darkroom romance 😂👍 Day 6 still darkroom vibes 😃👌 Today I trimmed the harvest and then weighed it, with a total weight of 122.9 grams. My light fell on my plants yesterday. , the pot of my plant in the first corner was broken, I bought it in a different pot. In my other plant, 2 branches were broken, I taped one of its branches, it became crippled.

I dont have pics from this week, so atleast Doink i smoked, everything stayed same, I figured I had high PH so I bring it back to 6.1 as ideal by Plagron, feeding 1.6EC. , 400PPFD 18/6
