After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Hey guys! Thanks for stopping in to check out my babies! This is week 2 of flower (days 8-14). This week things really seemed to take off! 🔥 Plants were happy all week long and seemed to grow almost an 1” per day if not more. Buds are developing nicely, no smell yet but nice to see them stackin’. I cut out anything under the trellis that would end up being popcorn buds so the plants could focus on the main colas. Hoping I’ll just have to pull a few leaves here and there from now on. The New Floraflex drip system has been nice! 💯 It has made watering easier and more automated. Water distribution isn’t perfect but I’m sure they aren’t 100% level either. Plants should stop stretching after this next week and should start putting on some size! Stoked to see what these girls can do in week 3! Day by day break down: Day 8 Cut out some lower growth/ leaves blocking bud sites Day 9 Fed all 6 plants. PH: 6.11, PPM: 1136 Day 10 Plants look great. Let them do their thing. Day 12 Fed al 6 plants. PH: 6.05, PPM: 1264 Day 14 sitting at 29” tall right now. Not so stressed on height being be issue. I apologize upfront for all the photos. It was hard to pick which ones to upload, so I picked a good variety. There is gonna be between 4-6 pounds once dried/cured. These were all super dense and very little larf. This was a higher temp/higher humidity run with lots of co2 and they blew up big. It’s been a minute since I’ve grown a cola or 2 that were bigger than my arm…this time there was dozens of them. Each plant was only topped one time. The temps were usually mid 80’s and humidity in the mid 60’s during flower. This might seem high to some, but learning to apply VPD to a grow should not be trial and error, in other words, this was intentional. It’s not risky either. During the first 6 to 7 weeks of flower it is very important to not let your night time temps to go below 75 degrees. POWDERY MILDEW=LOW TEMPS AND HIGH HUMIDITY. Take one of these away and there will not be any powdery mildew! Do not let your temps go below 75! The last 2 weeks I dropped the humidity to 40% and my night temps to mid 60’s for resin production. A couple of thing one should have to create large buds is a temperature gun(for leaf temp), a par meter and co2. Keep the stomata open and feed lots of co2=huge buds. Learn about VPD and not just a quick google search! When it’s dry and cured I’ll be back for an update on weight, taste and effects. Currently the plants are drying in the room at 60 degrees and 60% humidity until I can get in there to trim them. Might be 2-3 weeks. Thanks again for all the likes and comments!

I use these fertilizers not for the first time, the whole grove was successful, without any problems. the tree did not hurt, and there was no shortage of fertilizers. organic fertilizers are very good for the earth

She is one healthy beautiful cultivar with flowers forming that will be enormous and she's looking lovelier by the day! 😍 9/24- We're getting close to wrapping up Week Six of flower in a couple of days and she'll be around four more weeks from finishing, with the most exciting weeks yet to come! Its week 11, Harvest time!! .... or is it? Well, i can tell you - absolutely not. 💩 #3 is well into flower right now, but i dont think she's gonna come down for another 3 weeks. She's def. the furthest along though. I'll be using the thrichoscope end of this week i reckon. #2 and #1 are both just barely getting started in their flower, so they will probably run for another 5 or 6 weeks at least. i've got good hopes for plants 2 and 3, and also feel like the light-intensity experiment is really giving me some solid results. (the one with the least light is #3, whhich even started to flower much sooner than the other two, i feel like there is a link with the scarcity of light energy it receives. anyone here that would confirm or deny such an idea?)

TUESDAY 7/16: Today I transplanted her into a 3 gallon pot and moved her outdoors. She has a massive root system already. I watered her in with bottled water and some dolomite, azomite, and bokashi. I'll cook up some tea for her and everybody else I move outdoors in the next few days. WEDNESDAY: I watered her with about a half-gallon and added Kelp Me Kelp You. I also sprayed her a few times with Boom Boom Juice and she seemed to grow an inch almost immediately.😀 THURSDAY: She grew two inches overnight! I FIM'd her today and inspected her for pests...all clear.👍 FRIDAY: Inspected for pests and repositioned her in a spot that gets another half hour of sunlight per day. I sprayed the area with Ortho again and bought a little air bubbler to aerate water for compost tea. SATURDAY: She put on a few more inches since Thursday..really stretching now, but I still see no pistils. I mixed up a fairly weak batch of Big Bloom and Grow Big plus some Kelp Me Kelp You and douched her with about a half-gallon right as the sun was coming up. I also prepared a foliar feed using Big Bloom and Kelp Me Kelp You and sprayed her well before the sun came up, and again after it was going down. I also started aerating 4 gallons of water today...will add the compost tea tomorrow morning and let it cook for 24 hours. SUNDAY: I foliar fed her and sprinkled little more Silicium Flash on top of the soil of all my plants and mixed about 4 grams of Bactrex into a jug with 3/4 gallon of bottled water and douched all my plants with about 2 pints each. That should really get the beneficial bacteria and fungus kicked into overdrive. I started brewing a 4 gallon batch of compost tea today. Since I don't have any Orgatrex, I am using a little Big Bloom, Kelp Me Kelp You, and Grow Big in the tea in addition to the PK Compost Booster tea from Bi Tabs. I'll add Mycotrex to it about 2 hours before it finishes and dowse them all, thoroughly, tomorrow morning. MONDAY: I think I FIM'd the FIM job..not acting right...but she's stretching like crazy now. She got about a liter of compost tea this morning along with a good foliar feeding.
