FINAL WEEK! 14!!!! Lets go! I will start off by saying I am totally blown away with these plants! Not only did they grow way taller than expected, they performed very well considering my goof ups. The photos posted are the final stage of these plants, week 14. ILGM has really awesome genetics with these White Widow Autos. Each plant may have grown very differently but I predict they will all have high yields! They flourished using 100% dry organics but it would be interesting to see how they do using bottled nutrients or even synthetic. This will be my last flowering post before harvest details. All 5 plants were chopped on 5/6. I lightly wet trimmed and hung them all to dry in 50-55% RH back into the original tent. For final wet and dry weights I will post that all in my final harvest. A plant with both standard cellular respiration (occurring throughout the plant, including leaves and stems) and adequate root respiration will have a significantly higher ATP throughput than one restricted to only general cellular respiration in a limited way. Cellular respiration is the fundamental metabolic process that occurs in all living plant cells (roots, stems, leaves, flowers, seeds) to convert glucose into usable energy (ATP). It requires oxygen and produces carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. Root respiration is not a separate type of respiration, but rather a specific instance of cellular respiration occurring in the roots. Roots absorb oxygen from the air spaces in the soil to fuel their energy needs. Roots require a substantial amount of ATP for essential functions like nutrient and water absorption, as well as growth and maintenance of their tissues. The primary form of respiration in healthy plant roots is aerobic respiration, which is highly efficient, yielding up to 30-38 ATP molecules per glucose molecule. Anaerobic Respiration (Inefficient): If roots are deprived of oxygen (e.g., in waterlogged soil), they switch to anaerobic respiration, which is far less efficient, producing only 2 ATP molecules per glucose molecule and also generating alcohol, which can be toxic and kill the plant. Therefore, a plant with healthy, oxygenated roots performing efficient aerobic respiration in addition to the rest of the plant's cellular respiration has a much greater overall ATP production and energy capacity. A soil without organic matter will generally have a low Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC). Biochar is often prized for its potential to increase soil cation exchange capacity (CEC), but this effect is highly dependent on the specific properties of the biochar (feedstock and pyrolysis temperature) and the soil type to which it is applied. High-ash biochars, especially those produced at lower temperatures and applied to acidic or sandy soils, can significantly boost CEC by providing abundant binding sites for cations like calcium (Ca²⁺), magnesium (Mg²⁺), and potassium (K⁺). Biochar is more sustainable than typical organic matter for long-term soil improvement primarily due to its high stability and resistance to microbial decomposition, allowing it to persist in the soil for hundreds to thousands of years. This longevity provides a lasting positive effect on soil properties, particularly by increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC) over time, while regular organic matter breaks down much faster. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. It's a secret. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what I give mine. Can even add N in its NH4+ form

Day 73: finally starting to bulk up a little bit. She’s overdressed and she took her time to recover but I hope she stays well now. 🍯 Day 74: she smells AMAZING! almost as good as my Favorite strain of all time! Sugar Punch by sannies seeds. Flowering day 49 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) All ladies look very healthy and delicious :-) We're slowly getting closer to the end. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.2 l (sewing materials see table above) At the next watering there is a very light rinse with Clean Fruits so that the last nutrients can be slowly used up. 15 Noviembre: -Hoy se instaló el sistema de riego "Drip to Waste" que me permitirá hacer riego de precisión, con protocolo "Crop Steering". -Se instalaron sensores de humedad de suelo, para saber cuándo y cuánto regar, el sistema manda datos de humedad de suelo, temperatura y humedad ambiente, etc vía internet a mi celular. -Mañana se comienza con el primer riego de precisión. 17 Noviembre: Segundo día de riego automático, 3.0EC y 5.9pH, las plantas crecen a buen ritmo, las raíces ya están saliendo por los orificios de drenaje a 2 días de transplantadas. 20 Noviembre: Se realizó una pequeña defoliacion de las hojas tipo abanico muy grandes.

Getting very close to the end now, lowering my night temps has definatley made the buds more dense, will be feeding her nutrients this week and start the flush from next week, unfortunately I’ve just realised the water pump was the case for my reservoir to be heating up, so I’ve probably messed up it’s nutrient intake, so my next runtz muffin run will most probably be a lot better

Had some slight problems with the seed shells not popping off of the Cheese and Hulkberry seedlings. The fat banana looks good so far, some slight yellow coloring on outer edges of the fan leaves. Any suggestions from the pix above would be helpful to identify what kind of trauma the plants are going through and how to address it. ***** Regarding all pictures from 6/17/19, any help would be truly appreciated!!
