We had some unwanted excitement this week when I had a tent malfunction. My humidity got up to 100%, everything in the tent was soaked, and the fan was not on. Luckily, it was only that way for a couple of hours, but it was enough to do some damage to the leaves where the water was standing. After I got that sorted out and the humidity back down, I sprayed everything with some lost coast plant therapy and turned off the lights. The basil actually showed the most damage because it was the closest to the light. Quite a few of its leaves got fried. Continuing on the lost coast every week or so for the duration, I’m terrified of PM again. In the meantime, until I can afford an AC Infinity humidifier, I’m just turning this one off. It seems to be a bit too unpredictable.

Change the water tds now 400ppm , had to adjust the ph as it shot up quite fast 24 hours after the water change . So far so good , dare I say nice healthy roots. Hopefully it will take off this week

Day 9 I had no choice but to defoliate, the canopy was getting way to dense and humidity was hard to control even with my 30 pin dehumidifier. Hopefully will not affect to much. Probably I will do another defoliation on day 21. TDS stays at 550PPM this week and CO2 at 1200PPM.

Turned on the reservoir for a couple of minutes. (Till the AutoPots are full and the valve closes) Rised the pots aswell, so the canopy is very even. I let them recover from the heavy defoliation i did, and next week i will slowly increase the light's strength. (Now still at 50% 50cm)

I struggled with this plant the whole grow cycle. She still came out alright in my opinion. She did foxtail due to heat. For a first photoperiod grow in DWC I did good in my opinion. Learned a lot more, and been applying those techniques now. She grew under a Spider Farmer SE5000 light in a New Level Hydro bucket. I used hygrozyme during grow. Hi All, I think I must have missed a week, don't know how I did that but I switched on the 16th OCT and this should have been the fifth week of flowering. Anyways I will change that over the weekend. Weekly update: *What's happening in the garden. So starting the fifth week of flowering and the buds are starting to bulk up. I still think the canopy is too dense but I am going to pretty much leave it and see how it plays out. Maybe I will thin out one large colla and see if that's going to grow a lot better but I don't know how meaningful this will be going forward. *On-going problems 1. Top canopy leaves still showing red stems. (I am almost to a point where I think this might be genetics) 2. Sweating problem - I've tried to lower temps, thin out canopy and dimming light. So I've done all that with limited success UNTIL I moved two dehumidifier into the room and lowered the RH in tent from low 70's to low 60's and I directed the top fan directly at the canopy rather than blowing slightly above the canopy. That seemed to help the plant sweat without leaves pointing up and tacoing. 3. Brown goo in reservoir - I am seeing some brown goo started to grow again but less than before. So I am going to increase the cannazym, hydro guard and PH at 5.5. *Neat trick to slightly increase your grow tent area. Since this is a monster mother plant in a 2x4 tent. I've been having trouble keeping her in check especially on the perimeter of the canopy so I actually added a input fan to decrease humidity and increase air flow and also created a positive atmosphere in the tent so the tent basically increased 10- to 15% in volume especially in the middle of the tent where my canopy is at so this gives her more room to bulk up the buds.

Ouch, I can’t take serious photos with this plant. She’s growing regularly, with no much space to express herself. If her smoke is pleasant, I’ll grow her again with the proper training 😉

So my phone died early in the week and I lost all my my update pics. On the plus side, I have a brand new better phone that takes better pics of my ladies. (The only reason to have a phone) - I’m still only giving the girls plain water and letting them use up the last of the nutrients in the leaves. I’d say there’s still ~12 days to harvest for the indica dominate strains and a week or so beyond that for the rest. - I’ll be taking clones in about week with an aero cloner I borrowed from a friend. That, will start a new diary from the beginning. I’ll flower the moms I have now and I will also pop some new seeds for the grow after that one. I’ll be posting more closeups soon.

These girls are getting really close. Definitely stacked amazing but from the looks, Definitely sativa dominate. They're getting a strong pungent OG smell and a couple have a super sweet smell. Excited for the next week to see how they progress.

We are on Day 36 of Flower and going strong! As we are coming to the final weeks of flower, these buds are still immature but are definitely going to be maturing well. Word to the wise, at this stage in the fame you gotta check your plants DAILY (or you might have some unexpected droop 😅😅😅). Surprisingly we are only watering every other day. I think the Mycorrhizae and the biochar in this soil mix are helping me out a lot here. Overall feeling really good about this plant. The feedings look fine and she is looking very healthy. Day 16 - 11/14: I'm starting to suspect that this seed was actually the 2nd Cali Snow seed from my other diary... When I germinated them I put them separated but on the same cloth. At one point the LSD rolled over into the Cali Snow seeds but I was PRETTY sure I knew which one it was. Looking at how the two seedlings are similar in their stunted growth compared to the big buy in the middle who's right on schedule. I think THAT might be the real LSD-25 but I might have to wait a few weeks before I figure it out 😂 You can see it's definitely struggling but it is still growing along. Let me know if you know what is going on with it! Still just using a spray bottle for the soil around the plants using plain water a couple times a day. I will start a light water Molasses/Water feeding starting next week most likely. DAY 19 - 11/17: Just got back from a day or so out of town. Left her well watered with her dome on to help with moisture loss. Left the Veg half of my LED on so not full power but still a great bit of progress when I got back today. It was struggling as a seedling (Why I think it might be the California Snow seed that switched places) but when it hit the first node, regular growth took over. Will give them all a dark period tonight to give them a break from the 36 or so hours of light they've had when I was away. Still just letting the FoxFarms Ocean Floor do the feeding with plain waterings with a spray bottle. Will start to feed the soil Molasses/Water mixes by the end of the week or as soon as I feel the little plants and handle a pour feed compared to gentle spray. Thanks for stopping by!
