Tequila Sunrise - Week 7: Slug Attack! But This Señorita's a Fighter ¡Ay caramba! This week with Tequila Sunrise has been a real telenovela, growmies! Just when I thought things were heating up with the flowering fiesta, WHAM! Enter the evil-doers, the nefarious villains... the SLUGS! Seriously, folks, when I saw my little señorita on Friday, I swear I could've cried. Those slimy devils had gone to town, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. Leaves munched, flower parts devoured - it was a scene straight out of a horror movie! To add insult to injury, I unearthed a whole gang of the culprits - nine fat, brown slugs of all sizes chilling in the soil. The audacity! But here's the thing: Tequila Sunrise ain't going down without a fight! In a stroke of genius (or maybe just desperation), I decided to elevate her to a plastic chair throne. Apparently, slugs are like nightclub bouncers - they don't like high places (gettit?! ;). And guess what? It worked! The next two nights, not a single slimy visitor dared to approach. Victory, at least for now! Despite the slug buffet, Tequila Sunrise even managed to pull off a respectable 10cm growth spurt this week. This girl's a fighter, that's for sure. Weeds are called weeds for a reason, right? They're tough as nails, and Tequila Sunrise is no exception. So, here's the plan, amigos: let's send some good vibes this señorita's way. With a little luck and some continued anti-slug warfare, she might just bounce back from this brutal attack and still deliver a decent harvest. We believe in you, Tequila Sunrise! been quite busy, due to my birthday and a new semester, which resulted in my Orange Apricot grew too close to the light and i mistakingly turned ny lights to 100% for a few days which ended up in light burn, so i had to re-adjust my setup and raised the lights.. also threw some netting on the orange apricot glue and some lst clips in an effort to hold them down abit.. still havent got the time to remove the burned leafs, but everything else looks perfect. ive also raised the Sweet cheese closer to the light.

New grow , New seeds just been put in water for 24hr then they will be put in paper towel for another 24hr before being planted straight into coco with some mykos an inch or two under. I will update in 48hr. 16/07/18 - all three seeds germed fine all with 1cm+ tails and planted in 80/20 coco/perlite mix with some mykos mixed in and a layer of it 1-2 inch down from where seeds were planted. I watered them each with 600ml roughly before planting and will update when they break through. 18/07/18 - 48hrs since seeds where planted and can see first set of true leaves already, I’ve got a steady 60-70% humidity and staying at 24 degrees Celsius. I’m going to spray them tonight with some ph’ed water with a tiny bit of rhizo.

Have to defoliate evry like 3 or 4 days i feel. So many bud sites its unreal! Stilll scared of mold... any suggestions? I have a de humidifier so im down to about 40 to 45% in tent. OVERALL: ~ Very happy with the grow, I really dialled everything in well this run. ~ She grew super fast, I put it down to the constant oxygenation of the rootzone along with consistent and constantly optimized light DLI and leaf to air temp variance. The extra Co2 helped push the plant to its limit in terms of heat, allowing it to push its hardest. ~ The lack of HST and Defoliation I feel let it finish faster due to lack of stress and stunting. The faster finishing time along with the big yield and efficient MarsHydro light, it hugely reduced my electricity costs per gram and freed up space much sooner for the next plant. ~ Turned into a very dense bush of buds, there is even smokable dense buds at the base of the plant due to the under canopy lighting (Not as dense as top canopy buds but still decent) ~ Ran a thin line between stressing the plant and letting it flourish. The buds came out big and very dense, also it's hard to see on camera but they're very frosty too (Prob from UVB) YIELD: ~ 145g (dry) in just 9 weeks from seed. ~ 753g (Wet) ~ 0.91g/watt GENETICS: ~ MSNL - Gorilla Glue Auto ~ my favorite strain, as you can tell by my username! STRAIN REVIEW: ~ Heavy hitter, like an indica but has some of that "feel it in your face" sensation of a strong sativa.
