Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. Lineage: Chem Sis x Chocolate Diesel x Sour Dubb Popularity: Extremely Popular Flavor/Aroma Profile: Chocolate, Earthy, Fuel Yield: 400 g/m2 Stress Tolerance: High resistance to disease Potency: 24% THC Flowering time: 58 - 63 days The Soil: Those who saw my Monstercropped Gelato #33 grow (you should see it if you didn't, I'm so proud of that grow), know about my super soil and organic nutrients/ permaculture tea combo that starred in my previous diary. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! This week I inoculated the room leaves and plants with Neoseiulus cucumeris, I have had minor thrip problems all summer, Usually I use lady bugs to combat them but none have been available this year. I inoculated the plants by shaking the bottle full of Cucumeris and bran over the leaves. I will do this a few times before pre flowers show. Cucmeris are predatory mites that eat the thrip larvae. And are supposed to work for spider mites as well. I added the scrog nets to the room and began training the plants through them. I then flipped the lights over to 12 and Initiated pre flower. All vegetative growth was very vigorous. The goal of this grow is to do a preliminary test to begin to determine if Mycelium provides any additional benefits to Cannabis when allowed to colonize in super soil before being added to bottom layer of the pot. The Process: 1) 8 weeks Prior to Germination Super Soil is mixed (see super Sub cools super soil recipe further down the page) and added to spinning two part composter, water is added and the super soil mix is allowed to break down for a week. 2) 7 weeks Prior To germination 1L of colonized mycelium is added to each side of composter. Mycelium is now allowed to colonize the super soil. 3) After 8 weeks total the Mycelium has had enough time to colonize throughout the super soil mix and is ready to be added to the bottom 1/3rd of the pots. Fantastic week. Lots has changed. Plants are stacking something fierce! I cut out the nitrogen completely this week, qnd that's how it will stay for the duration of the rest of the grow. I have found with autos, i have had the best luck when I push them hard with nitrogen up until this stage in growth. I then cut out the nitrogen completely and up the bloom nutes quite dramatically. For the rest of the grow I will feed every watering. Water at a 6.4 ph. Gro- 0ml per gal Micro- 10ml per gal Bloom- 15ml per gal Bug bud- 5ml per gal Very much looking forward to watching this batch swell!! These Hubbabubbasmellascope are a strange run! 3 plants look one way, the other 3 look totally different. But stacked with bud sites nevertheless. Next week I will add photos of them side by side. This strain is coming along nicely, with a strong smell of double bubble!

Transplanted to 7 gal pots....gave the girls a trim. Changed soil to SOHUM with pumice. Still have note burns on the tips of some leaves. Thinking of forgoing nutrients and just go with plain ph balanced tap water. Any thoughts fellow growers? Any advice would be appreciated!

Strooong lemon/pine Terps on the nose. And they come in hard. They leave with a hint of earth forage and fall leaves. Lovely asf

Merry Christmas growers!!! Been a very good week, had plenty of time with the ladies. Nothing major to report other than these two LED's aren't enough for this size tent I don't think. Will definitely be upgrading for the next grow! Thursday - fed roughly 1.5L with nutrients. Friday - did nothing. Saturday - fed roughly 1.5L with nutrients. Sunday - did nothing. Monday - fed roughly 1.5L with nutrients. Tuesday - did nothing.

this week is doing fine watching them grow after last week F.I.M and topping they look healthy and are recovering from past root rot problem for me calcium hypochlorite and blanking the bucket with thermal reflective material saved my grow and after all im not adding more chlorine than regular tap water since im using reverse osmosis keep your roots healthy and is basically the same as UC roots

Tag 56: Die Shogun ist der 1. Blütewoche um 18cm gewachsen, 20cm bleiben mir noch für die Lampe 😬 Ansonsten waren die letzten Tag sehr heiß draußen, und somit stieg die Temperatur bei meinen Pflanzen insgesamt um 2°C, das scheint sie aber nicht zu stören 😀 Tag 57: pünktlich nach 1 Woche Blüte konnte ich bei beiden Pflanzen (Shogun u. Triple G) ein dezenten Duft wahrnehmen. Heute ist es nochmal richtig heiß geworden, die Nacht Temperatur lag im Schnitt bei 26 °C und Tags bei 27 °C 😱, aber auch das scheint sie bisher nicht zu stören.😎 Tag 60: Es ist eine wahre Freude der Shogun beim gedeihen zuzuschauen 😍 Sie hat sehr kurze Nodien Abstände voll mit Blütenansätzen, alle Arme wachsen kerzengerade und sind super fest, was ich von der Triple G aktuell in meiner 2. Growbox nicht behaupten kann 😒 obwohl selbes Alter, selbe Bedingungen, gleiche Anzahl an Armen 😮 Tag 62: eine letztes Mal entlauben 😌 Ein paar Fussenärmchen und eine paar unnütze Blätter weggeschnippelt.

Tag 76. Heute ist es soweit und die letzte stunde hat geschlagen. Wir haben die Ghost Train geerntet und sind mehr als zufrieden mit der Pflanze. Sie hat es gut gemeistert und in nur 76 Tagen hat sie ein nassgewicht von 733 Gramm erreicht. Jetzt kommen die Buds Oben ins Zelt während unten die anderen Ladys weiter wachsen :) Danke Zamnesia für diese Sorte die an Halloween noch im Angebot um 60% reduziert war 😀 Nun sind es nur noch 4 Damen, 3 davon Autos und die White Widow als Photo, diese wartet nun das sie sobald wie möglich in die Blüte darf😋 Getrocknet wurde im Zelt über den Lampen während unten die restlichen weiter wachsen, da LEDs keine UV strahlen abgeben ist das kein Problem. Temperatur waren 22 ºC und 53% Luftfeuchtigkeit, denn Rest vom Trimmen wurde auch getrocknet und eingefroren um Hash Herzustellen Nach dem Trocknen und dem Feintrimm sind es jetzt noch 130 Gramm, was sehr Gut ist für eine Auto und das schon nach 76 Tagen. Die Pflanze ist sehr Robust und kam mit einigen der Problemen die wir hatten sehr gut klar (zu hohe Temperatur nach dem wir neue Lampen installiert hatten) und eine Leichte Überdüngung da das EC messgerät defekt war und Falsche werte angezeigt hat. Der Geruch ist wirklich sehr Stark so Richtung Diesel und der Geschmack einfach genial, leicht nach Zitrus und Gewuürzen. Nach dem Trimmen kommen die Buds nun ihn Ihre Growbags damit sie Curen können, die Bags sind genial sie regulieren die Luftfeuchtigkeit stehts zwischen 58% und 62% Wieder mal eine Sehr Tolle Sorte von Zamnesia!!! They start looking very dense now, i flushed a day ago and instantly fed 8liters per pot with 650ppm ripen so the runoff is also in the 600 range. Now there is 9 days left with this feeding it will kick in hard now. All buds are rockhard there is no fluf anywhere in the plant as these are small plants and can only focus on nice marure buds. I love this strain i think this has a very good leaf to bud ratio and fattens up really fast also not much stretch diring the preflower. See u next week at the harvest day.

Semana 4: Fotos del Día martes 30 de Julio 2024. Las plantas van bien unas se estan recuperando y las demas están creciendo muy vigorosamente, lamentablemente se nos murio la sherbet y una Gorilla Auto no creció nada. Seguiremos Reportando la próxima semana.
