A modest addition of Orca and a bit of boost to feed the fungi has been more than sufficient. The plant has become a spectacle of health within the reservoir, developing an intricate root ball and sporting sizable fan leaves. This vigorous growth is a clear indicator of the strain's robust genetics and its compatibility with the hydroponic environment. All side branches have been intentionally removed to direct the plant’s energy towards vertical growth, a technique that's paying off with the plant’s current stature. So here’s Week 2 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s grow. All in all an easy week but there has been time spent reinforcing a couple of the seedlings because they are so top heavy. I check in on my seedlings at least once a day (oftentimes 2-3 times daily) just to make sure that all equipment is functioning well and temps are stable. Upon looking into the windows of the tent I discovered that the smallest seedling (the one that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves) was tipped right over. I gently supported her with a homemade splint (a tent peg/pipe cleaner combo- pictured above) and she’s currently standing on her own again. She’s still smaller than the others but surviving, not thriving for now. I used some fresh additional soil to fill in any gaps and pack down around the bases of the other three plants’ stems. Speaking of stems/stalks- the three healthy seedlings have peeling/stretching stalks and are starting to push out their first sets of branches. Other than that, same routine as always- watering every fourth day at 1.4 litres per watering or 0.35 of a litre per plant per day. I will be increasing the water sometime over week three. That’s it for now. Mom’s Tip for Week #2- Don’t Over Water! (when growing in soil of course)… When learning to read your plant’s needs, water is a very important factor to consider. I often notice other growers with tiny seedlings sitting in completely saturated pots of soil. Or read that many other growers don’t believe in placing newly sprouted seedlings into their final containers/pots. Both issues being easily resolved by simply paying close attention to your plant’s body language, it’s grow environment and sticking to a schedule. Cannabis truly thrives and benefits from a wet to almost fully dry watering cycle. From my own personal experience with photosensitive strains grown outside in the summer to growing autoflowers indoors through the fall, winter and spring- all of my Cannabis seems to do best when watered every 4th day like clockwork! This schedule is somewhat subjective of course depending on the environment that you are growing in. Here in Canada, much of our year is cool to cold and the humidity is relatively low. Because of this my plants are not always able to take in moisture from the air through their stomas so they suck up more water from what’s readily available in their pots. In other environments (ex. tropical), you may be able to stretch out this cycle- watering every 5-7 days because your plants are pulling so much water directly from the humidity in the air. And how you water your plants matters too. When starting out with newly sprouted seedlings placed into their final containers- less is more. There is no need to completely soak all of the soil in a 5-7 gallon pot. Simply start with a small amount (0.5-1 litre) directing the water to the base of the plant, working your way outwards in a circular pattern. As you increase the amount of water, I try to work my water outwards- making my circle slightly bigger each time I water until eventually I am soaking the soil surface all the way out to the edges of the pot. This process is gradual, stretched over a period of 4-6 weeks. It will encourage the roots to reach for water and allow your plants the time needed to grow into a heavy dose of H2O. Finally, learning to read your plant’s body language will help you to understand when they need and don’t need water as well as food, more/less light, temperature changes, etc. Healthy, well watered plants are generally light green with leaves slightly turned up towards the light/sun. They will be growing/thickening every day and able to support their own weight even in a very breezy environment. Leaves are soft and supple, not dry and brittle and there are usually no marks or discolouration of any kind on the foliage throughout your grow. Water quality is important too but that’s any entirely different tutorial for another time. Bountiful harvests are very possible by simply tweaking your watering schedule to suit your plants’ ultimate needs.

****Week 16 growth – March 20 to 26, 2021 – Week 7 flower ****** We are in flush now until the end😃 Its nice to be past toxicity and deficiency issues and will just watch them finish and swell up. Flushing agent used this week to assist with getting all the nutrients out. These girls are different from each other but doing well overall. CL1 is fox tailing more than the other but CL2 is finishing nicer than CL1 in her fade. Little more detail….. Mar 20/21, Day 43 - plain watering today - 4L given to each girl at 26ppm and 6.0pH - turned the light down more today to 410 watts Mar 21/21, Day 44 - dry out day Mar 22/21, Day 45 - finishing agent watering today - typhoon given today for flush at 2ml/l - 425ppm and 6.0pH - 4L for each girl. - a couple of the girls are a little dark so going to use a flushing agent. Mar 23/21, Day 46 - plain watering - watering again after the flushing agent - 4L for each girl and gave a good runoff Mar 24/21, Day 47 - dry out day - fade coming out now Mar 25/21, Day 48 - plain watering with tap water. - 280ppm and 6.1pH - 4L each girl again Mar 26/21, Day 49 - dry out day - will be drying out the pots more now before the next waterings. Through week 7 and heading into week 8. Not a lot of action in the final weeks as far as grower maintenance.......love the end when you can just enjoy😃 Very nice ETS💪🙏

Day 21 - Past week or so was rough (drooping leaves), which recovered during the night period. I figured it was either light or heat. Turns out the lights were way to bright (brown tips, bleaching leaves, drooping leaves). Turned off the 300 watt LED. Turned the Two 75 watt LEDS TO 40% plant is now stretching out nicely. Will turn light up slowly once stretch looks good. Happy New Year! Day 22 - Stretch looks good turned lights up 5% and leaves stopped stretching so back to 40%. Day 23 - Everything is resolved. Lights were way to bright. Caused the plant to stay short and brown tips. Reduced lights by 60% and now it’s beginning to stretch a little during the day and a lot at night. Added nutes back in and reduced the water to 2 cups per day. Day 25 - added 5% on lights. Stretching nicely. Manage vertical growth with filling out using the lights. Day 26 - looking good increased water to 12oz per day. Day 27 - lights up 5% back down 5%. I leave it alone now. Couple gnats flying around. Not sure if it is a problem?

Divine Seeds 2025 Auto Contest AK-47XL Auto 👉Sponsored Grow👈 W10F6 This week’s weather has been a mix of rain, clouds and thunderstorms. Temperatures were mostly in the mid to upper 80s during the day and low 70s at night. I watered 2 times with compost tea adding green sensation on the last watering. Information from Divine Seeds indicates that it can handle training due to its open and branchy structure. In the beginning AK47XL topped herself. You will see she has 4 main colas and a fifth short one and did just fine with a heavy stress training technique. Blooming plants produce massive pungent stench just as an AK-47 hybrid should. I don’t smell much currently but AK47 XL auto is fattening up her buds. The structure shows minimal hairs and mostly calyxes. Her buds have lots of sugar leaves which possibly can trap moisture causing rot. I check all my outside plants daily in the morning. If it rained that night, I give each stem a good shake to help dry them out. So far so good, no mold or other fungus or bug issues. The pics show the trichomes starting to fill out even without a magnifier. I am getting excited to see the full development of buds, colors and smells. Let’s go! Day 57- Did a light defoliation. RO water at 66 PPM. Running until more Ambers pop. Day 58- checked trichromes, ambers are showing up in clumps, I’d say about 15-20% amber trichs at the moment. PPM 55. Day 60: 4-5 day flush brings me to harvest. Cut down both plants, light trim of larger fan leaves and placed in tent. I used 2 scrog nets to hang the buds, worked ok, need to make tighter next time... too much droops! So far, First 24 hours of tent at 68 F and 70% humidity. At 48 hours 67F and reduced to 60% humidity At 72 hours 69 F and reduced to 55% humidity, maintaining till dry. Trying to get temps a little lower but no A/C... Trying to stretch drying time close to 14 days. Anything after 7 and I’m happy.

Par contre température base à cause du climat actuelle. Fin de la 4eme semaine de floraison.

This is it, the time is here to chop the plants. It looks like two of them could go a bit more, like a week or two, but if I do that then the other ones that are complete around 3-4 of them will be over ripe and they are already fox tailing a bit and not a huge fan of that. I have seen some clear winners in the tent for the self judged mini contest I have going on. Its going to take some time to judge them fully as I'll want a min 1month cure on some of thees strains. Found some weird growth inside the boom+ product on the last feed, dumped it out and then when removing the label for recycling it noticed there was a weird [A] under the label, I don't know what this means, the product was fine when I opened it so this was a my problem but the [A] is a mystery. Little photo and video flyby of the tent, tomorrow is chop and dry.
