Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Diary Entry for Growth Project: Day 24 - Today, a slower-growing plant was effectively moved from its soil environment into an idle hydroponic system. With this transition, the count of prospering plants stands at eight, with a couple more still being monitored due to uncertain growth. Significant discoveries include the paramount importance of light distance to the plants, which was underestimated initially. Further, it has been found that genetically modified seeds hold no superiority over the prevalent autoflower seed market. Additionally, the positioning of the plant and the volume of medium placed between the plants and the water source have been recognized as key determinants in accelerating early stage growth. Welcome to the Day 25 update of our grow journal. I must apologize for the slight confusion - although the video says it’s day 23, today indeed marks the 25th day of our journey. I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve had a successful transplant. The plants are now settling nicely into their new environments. The question now at hand is, should we introduce stress training? As we move into days 26 and 27, I have been pondering on this. High-stress training can sometimes stimulate growth, but in our current situation, it might not be the most prudent course of action. This time around, we are expecting all our plants in the grow tent to blossom concurrently. In light of this, I’m leaning towards letting nature take its course rather than intervening with stress training. By doing so, we will allow our plants to focus their energy solely on flowering. The goal here is to encourage the production of dense and frosty buds, the hallmark of a successful growth cycle. Rest assured, we’ll continue to provide the plants with the care and nutrients they need. Remember, every cycle is a learning experience, and we’re on this botanical journey together. Roughly at about 4.5 week I have turned the lights to 12/12 most of the flowers have shown sex with roughly about 60% being females, not a bad % of females, could have been a lot worse. The ICC’s are a bit stretchy & the cookies are quite squat and the bubblegum & black nitro’s are average size for the age.

Still some minimal LST. Lots of tops. One plant super purple in color. Other plant still green and no purple at all. Huge difference in the plants though. One is lighter in color, taller, and slimmer. The other is dark green, shorter, and fatter. Both doing amazing. Added 2 new plants in the tent this week. All are loving life!

Bad Guy is growing wild without LST restrictions, reaching for the sky and emitting a faint scent already! 🌱😮

She's really popping off with her bud sites. Short but definitely promising. Managed to tidy up the grow tent a bit and did a bit of cable management so I could put in the dehumidifier. Hoping to reach lower RH from now on.
