Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Another freezing cold week !! Before having this plant, i thought that a plant would never survive with this temperatures... but this Afghan Kush proved im wrong, whats amazing because this plants strenght is remarkable, the buds i noticed, are not developing as fast as in September/October, basic grower logic but we are having between 8-14 ºC during the day and 2-5ºC at night.. Wider range of colours, i spot like Purple, Deep green, and even shades of Violet and blue, its incredible :D Last feedings, finished like in the middle of this week and the buds developement degree is telling me, its flush time ... Spotted a few white aphids, but only on the leaves, so not a problem.. Having in mind the temperatures they are not lasting so much hahaha its the good thing Last weeks of life, and i suppose she will be yellowing more during the next week. THe photos are progresive, so the first photos were taken at the beginning of the week and so ... Have a Nice Week Guys :D

Moin moin liebe Leute erstmal Entschuldigung das ich Woche 8 nicht hoch geladen habe, hab einfach den Kopf zu voll zur Zeit der grow läuft an sich ganz gut alle 2 Tage muss ich die Arme der okto moms neu anpassen mit der Höhe damit die Äste einiger maßen auf gleicher Höhe bleiben. Hab zusätzlich heraus gefunden was die Flecken auf den blättern verursacht ich hab die ganze zeit extract und bat boost gleichzeitig genutzt dabei werden die Zusätze getrennt benutzt (ich depp wieder) extract für vegi phase und in blüte umstellen auf bat boost naja die okto moms leben und gedeihen werde die tage auch auf 12/12 licht plan umstellen und somit ist dann auch die Hälfte des grows schon wieder rum euch noch ein schönen Sonntag meine homies und growmies

Week 5 done and dusted and these girls have started their flowering stage, stoked! This week has been a bit slow growing for them unfortunately, I've been super busy and haven't been tending to them as much as I would have liked. I started the week with an over water and then neglected them for a few days and and they dried right out. They were not looking happy. I then top dressed the girls with Herbi's all natural nutrients, 2.5 tablespoons of bloom and 2.5 of Veg mixed in with 5 tablespoons of Worm castings for each girl and i got back to regular watering. They've sprung back up to life but I can't help but think it's another bit of stunt they didn't need. I've bent this girl over and I'm continuously pulling her head over around the pot, just trying different techniques with each girl. Some light defoliation as well. She's hasn't had the best week but I'm hoping she bounces back soon Hope you had a good week, and thanks for checking in 🙏

So this is my first grow ever. I planted directly in substrate and watered with nutrients directly. I water every 2-3 days. I have watered 3 times till now day 8. Are my seedlings healthy? is my grow normal? I water until the coco is completely wet, as soon as it starts to runoff i stop. Should i always let runoff water more? Thank you.

now we wait for the enlargement of buds ... the plant has remained low and compact ...... the branches and the trunk are very resistant and hard, unfortunately it has yielded a thread that held it and the plant has grown a bit ' strange, but the scent is not at all .... I think the plant will give me definitely less than what I'm used to (over 50 gr)

Hello Diary. Fourth week of flowering and the Hulkberries look great, two more weeks and we will have a harvest. 😎 The branches started to bend from the weight of the flowers, so after taking photos in the box I put wooden sticks to stabilize it. Hulkberry # 1 which is much more branched than # 2, got three rods because I had to connect almost every branch. At Hulkberry # 2, one rod was enough, and I tied it lightly around with a rope. 💪 The flowers look great and there are a lot of them, on the lower branches they are not so developed, but I expected that considering the shade from the upper branches and the distance of light. I’m not very great with descriptions, so I have photos that describe it a lot better than I will in words. 😉 Earlier this week I inserted two dehumidifiers that have some gel in them that gradually absorbs moisture, I can’t say anything drastic has happened, the humidity in the air is still higher than I would like at this stage. Two circular fans and a large exhaust fan that I put on maximum is all I can do at the moment. The temperature is also high in the box, it is around 28 degrees but sometimes it rises up to 29 degrees, but genetically they belong to a warmer climate, so it might suit them warmer. They look happy. 😎 As we get closer to the end, I decided this was the last week that they got BioBizz, so from now on they’re just on the water. I also made a little effort to take more photos. How could they not when they are so beautiful. 😍 Let’s take a look at what this week looked like. 02/08/2020 - Day 45. Watering. This time I watered only with water, I did not add BioBizz food. I still regulated the water at p.H 6.5 with Plagron’s, Lemon Kick. Each time I prepare 7 lit. water and with that I water all three plants evenly. 06/08/2020 - Day 49. Photographing and watering. Last feeding, I added BioBizz on schedule for week 7. In 7 lit. water I added BioBizz and adjusted p.H to 6.5. That's all for this week. The plants are beautiful, they smell great and now I can’t wait for the end. See you soon.

She is building buds. I think it needed more space to reach its full potential, we'll see when I run it again. Given it's size, it's doing really well. Plenty of buds.

Wk1, Day1, 4/6/22 Wk1, Day4, 4/9/22, second node forming on all 3 babies Wk1, Day6, 4/11/22, 3" tall End of Wk1, 4/12/22, 2nd set of true leaves forming nicely on all 3, no issues

Hello! What's up? Today was the last day, we ended week 13 with success! Barely gave them any water, try to keep it to a minimum so they dry 'faster'. Super happy with this strain, beautiful buds, smell, sticky af and quite dense too. Was watching them day and night, every day to make sure I'd cut them in the right day. Having a microscope is really handy for this point, allowing to harvest in the desired state. Now I'll prepare the room for harvest, remove the reflector, bulbs, etc, and flip the box to a 'drying station'. They look ready to go for me, and after the pictures I chopped them down, and have around 2kg before trimming. That's the most I ever got out of a grow at once. Super amazed.
