Journal de culture – Semaine 4 de croissance (fin) Je ne suis vraiment pas satisfait de la plante, que je trouve faiblarde et manquant de vitalité. Son développement est lent, et je suspecte que la température, qui descend peut-être trop bas la nuit, pourrait en être la cause. Cependant, même le pied-mère de cette variété n’a pas une croissance exceptionnelle, ce qui me fait penser que le phénotype de cette variété n’est peut-être pas très bon. Pour ne pas perdre trop de temps, j’ai décidé de la passer en floraison aujourd’hui, avec un cycle de lumière 12-12. J’ai également changé la soupe et préparé 20 litres avec les nutriments nécessaires à la floraison. Sachant que cette variété a tendance à beaucoup stretcher, j’ai pratiqué du LST (Low Stress Training) pour recourber les sommités. Cependant, j’ai accidentellement cassé un apex, laissant seulement trois apex au lieu de quatre. Bien que je ne sois pas satisfait de cette plante ni du pied-mère, je vais finaliser cette culture et passer à une autre variété ensuite. 🇺🇸Cultivation Journal – Week 4 of Vegetative Growth (End) I’m really not satisfied with the plant; it seems weak and lacks vitality. Its development is quite slow, and I suspect the nighttime temperatures might be dropping too low. However, even the mother plant of this strain doesn’t show great growth, so I’m thinking the phenotype might not be very good. To avoid wasting more time, I’ve decided to switch it to flowering today, setting the light cycle to 12-12. I also replaced the nutrient solution, preparing 20 liters with the ingredients required for flowering. Knowing this strain stretches a lot, I applied LST (Low Stress Training) to bend the tops. Unfortunately, I broke one of the four apexes, so now there are only three left. Even though I’m not happy with this plant or the mother plant, I’ll finish this grow and move on to another strain afterward.

Hey guys . My cutting heating broke 3-4 weeks ago, which was fixed immediately and everything went wonderfully. Now, 3 days ago, the central heating broke down in the entire room, so that at night I only have temperatures of around 13 degrees :-( . One or the other lady is slowly starting to see a phosphorus blockage, as this can no longer be absorbed at temperatures below 15 degrees, like many other nutrients :-( . A friend looked at the heating yesterday and came to the conclusion that a real company had to do it, which is by no means possible for a stranger to enter my room. I quickly ordered heating mats for all the boxes so that the ladies could at least get warm feet. That's all I have this winter full can do . Let's hope everything will be fine 🙏🏻. As soon as the heating mats are attached in the coming days, I will post them in the pictures. Now for the update. Despite the severe cold, the ladies are still doing well and have made good progres . The ladies only had to be watered once this week, each time with 1 l, because it absorbs the water very slowly because of the cold and I don't want to overwater it. I took every single plant in the pot to take a close look at their roots. These are snow white and look very healthy 🙏🏻. It was also the last time neem oil sprayed so that the last trips are finally gone. Otherwise everything was checked and a lot of planning was done, like I do with the heating mats. Since a friend had the same problem in one winter and the heating mats got 10 degrees plus on the pots, I am very confident that it will at least bring something for the last cold month 😃 🙏🏻. When I got into the room one day before I scheduled the harvest, her branch collapsed under the weight of the buds. Not surprising, the buds were massive and dense! This is one of the best problems to appear during a grow, could never be mad at a plant for lack of strength to support the massive buds. I decided to view it as a sign from the plant, that it's done, it had enough, so the harvest happened a day early. Her buds were too tall for my DIY Cooler and since the buds were so dense, it wasn't easy to get to the stem to cut it and since the buds were covered in trichomes, the gloves were super sticky. The genetics were pretty amazing to grow, super happy plant with amazing growth - thank you, @Exotic_Seed for the seeds! 🙏

Flowering is developing well. Genetics Very very greedy in fertilizer... After a written exchange with the breeder, he recommended a mineral fertilizer, and not an organic organic one. The flowering is developing very, very well, but small spots have appeared on the foliage for no apparent reason. If anyone can give me the beginnings of a solution, I'm interested.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. 15.08 Second week going great. The mimosa pheno I hunted is a true monster. Thick stem already nearly as big as the 1.5 inch rockwool cube. Easily over 1 m high. Stacking beautifully. I have a new setup for the 5x5 tent. Vevor EC fan 150mm. With temp and humidity controller paired with prima clima 900m3h carbocone filter which is huge. Also new Mars hydro fc e 8000 light with Bluetooth controller. So far very cool. We will see how it performs. Since I have co2 boosted we will have it cranking at max when the girls hit the bulk phase.

She is the Beast ;) P.s.3 24 hours after dofoliation they started to smell really hard... Citrus and berries aroma all the way .. No sign of stress and easy to see how healthy they are , still blooming ;) P.s. 4 I always work with plants before watering them and when i harm them - i always water with ph water only. Soil is ritch enough and if damage will happen less feeding will reduse it ...

Throughout the growth of the plant communicated, from the seed it is a strong and healthy plant. I did LST training, topping and defoliation on it. Finally, it also has a quality harvest. Is perfect 😉

Week 2 This week I put a humidifier in the tent for a few days. Without it the humidity is around 42-49%, with it it is around 55%. I don't know if this makes sense.. Maybe one of you has some advice for me, thanks in advance. I noticed that the leaves were slowly starting to curl up at the edges. I then did some research and hung the lamp higher, about 120cm above the leaf tips and reduced the power from 50% to 40%. I hope that I have solved the problem. So far I think the leaves of the plants look better. I watered every ~ two days - without draining - and since yesterday the water quantity has been 1.5L per plant divided into 3x0.5l watering units (water, wait 30min to 1h, water again, wait, etc.). I added 6ml of CalMag to 3 liters of osmosis water. I put the last Biobizz tab into the soil and filled the pot with some more soil.
