Weekly update on these big girls. I decided to take out some of the lower branches, giving more airflow at the top of the pot level. Overall they've exploded with growth this week. I'd say they're getting close to 4ft tall. I sprayed some BT spray for ipm this week since I don't want catapillers showing up unannounced. All in all Happy

End of the grow cycle finally! This one was a test run, I wanted to see the possibilities using liquid nutrients in an Autopot-like system. Firstly, because I got plenty of the nutrients left from the previous grow. Although it is possible to use this method, it’s way too much work. I had to change the water/feed in the tray all the time while I was facing with ph stability issues. The harvest is now in the drying chamber. I will keep you updated with the end results.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Day 23th Flowering Stage, all plants looking healthy except for Gelato Sorbet. All plants 2L water + nutrients, Gelato Sorbet got 1L water + nutrients and 1L 6.3 pH filtered water.

Chopped down and trimmed 2 of my plants today at the end of their 2 week flush, will cut down the last plant next week and put my harvest weight up for the 2 plants worth of dried bud. Took about 4 hours to trim the 2 and I'm happy with the results, not sure how much is there but I'd rather weight til it's dry before I weigh it. There was also some strange looking new growth at the base of one of the plants, quite a few shoots with flowers so went through it and got about 30 good looking seeds out of it bit weird in my opinion but fair enough.. gonna carry these with me in a tin and plant them wherever I see a good spot outdoors and see what happens 😋 Hung them up today to dry as I didn't realize they would eventually go flat and take ages to dry if left in the trays 🙄🙄 should be alright now hopefully 🤞 The bud are nice and dry now after 5 days hung up, gonna leave them up another day as I've got some bovida 62 packs coming tomorrow that I'm gonna put in the jars 😊 gonna chop down the rest of the last plant tomorrow as well then hang that up to dry.

Hello everyone Welcome 🙂 We are now at the end of week 15 from seed with this delicious , GREEN GELATO 🌲🍦 74° days of bloom.. Another few days and then ✂️ After the cut I will dry it properly , for 5 to 10 days , it dipends , in temperature around 20/23°C and ur 50/60% , the entire plant.. After that , when the branches are dry but before the crack sound , I will do a nice manicuring and then I put the flowers in a browbag for one or two days , it depends.. Then , when I will think the moinsture of the buds can be good , I will put the flowers in to the jar.. Not all full but just for 3/4.. And then I will start the curing process.. Usually after the first time I have put the buds in to the jar , I leave it closed for 24 h.. After this full day closed , I will start to open up the jar four times a day every six hours for the first week.. And then I will doing it for about three to four weeks , and every week I will open the jar one time less.. Sometimes I change the metod , but the final product it's always be the same 👌🔥 But when I will finish this process I show you in a video how the ash it's and especyally how it's will burn , nice and slowly without still continue to light up.. That's all.. See you in a few weeks , maybe one month and half , for the Harwest report and for see in the end how the flowers will looks like and if they burn in the right way.. Slow , clean , tasty and smooth.. 12/05 start of a new week.

What's up growmies 🤟🏽 Week number 4 is in the books🙌🏾 Today marks the official start of week 5 and just like my previous grows all my autos are starting to preflower. Like clockwork it starts around week 5 so it lets me know these are right on schedule. I am really focusing on keeping the main cola ties down to keep the canopy as even as possibly. Typically in the past I would stop tying them down during flowering and the main cola would outgrow the rest and dominate. This grow I am continuously tying the main cola down. They all are pretty even except for Caramelicious, her main cola is just a stud and won't bend to 180 w/o me snapping the main stalk. She still is my favorite though and it's my 7th time growing her (I plant at least 1 Caramelicious each grow) The nutrient schedule remains the same. I am feeding them General Hydroponics Flora series. (Floragro, FloraMacro, FloraBloom) I am mixing what the manufacturer recommends for 1 gallon into 3 gallons, so I'm giving roughly 1/3rd what's recommended and it seems to be the sweet spot for my set up and environment. All the plants are doing well and are not showing any signs of stress, deficiency, or toxicity at this point. The weather here in VA has been pretty cold which makes it perfect humidity wise for my indoor grow, without having to blast my Cloud intake system, or even turn on the dehumidifier which won't last long because they are starting to flower and will take up more volume increasing humidity so I expect to have to use them both in the next few weeks. It appears a spider has made it's home in my tent (I see webbing in one corner of the tent) I figured it'll take care of pests for me and is not harmful so I am leaving it be for now. CRAZY NIGHT (Continued) And not only is Frontdesk girl steaming mad that NX hit it and quit it (apparently she was looking to make him breakfast and then introduce himn to the family!!!), she brought along her rather large brother! Frontdeskgirl sees the Stephanies, they see her, large brother see NX's eyes and everyone puts 2 and 2 together. Stphanie 1 was the first to smack NX accross the face, followed by S2 with a kick to the shin, more from S1, S2 with the assist, NX starts hobbling away. But no! Now Frontdesk girl has made it to the group and shes swinging at EVERYONE!!!! Luckily myself and the others in our group were safely out of arms reach and were able to witness this spectacle alongside the curious morning Montreal onlookers. The stephas start fighting back with FDG, and the brother starts to chase my brother!!! Now in most situations, my brother would get backup, bit there was just too muych going on to watch, the big dude obviously had a bum knee, and my bro had a head start and an athletic build. So, there we were, bags dumped outside the hotel, a classy fight on the sidewalk in front of us, my brother running away into the sunrise, and a whole day of events planned. I picked up my shit, my bros shit, my buddies did the same, and we noped the fuck out of there., leaving the girls to figure that shit out themselves. Never saw the Stephanies again. To this day they could still be in Montreal, who knows. My bro is still alive, and I will never know what happened to Frontdeskgirl. DIARY STUFF CHOPPED IT!!! Finally some buds

Day 65 : officially 1st day of flush . Changed the reservoir with fresh water and 1.2g/5 gallons of Yucca extract and 5ml/gallon of Cleanex from Botanicare . Day 68- I did some defoliate. Few more days until harvest.

------------------------ HARVEST 1: ------------------------ Harvested this girl because she stopped eating and was drinking less water, and the weird flowers, so she was finishing, and im looking for something psycoactive, so the trichs are cloudy too... I expected less flowers, but there are some material behind leaves. The smoke is really nice flavored, and it hits you with psychoactivity. Despite the production and weird buds it is really tasty and gets you in a really nice sativa mood. The flavor would be like: An apple with Gasoline touches (i suppose its because of the Sour Diesel heritage) 15 gr. ------------------------ HARVEST 2: ------------------------ This plant was harvested in the optimal point to me, with cloudy trichs and a nice production. She really added weigth in the last weeks. The smell is really like the original Lemon, has deep citrous notes. Taste is very good, more powerful than the smell(Will complete this in a couple months when properly cured in jars). I like the psychoactivity, its a nice day smoke, and a tasty one. Overall a very good plant, i love the therpene profile (citrous/fruity), it is so refreshing when you smell the citrous flavour. 90 gr.
