Week 5: 8/24 we fed the kids for the first time!! We followed the instructions for Gaia Green All Purpose application and went ahead and grabbed the Bloom fertilizer as well, so we are ready for that transition. We did top all our auto flowers except one and they slowed down their growth a bit, but we have two strong main stems on all of them, so I'm excited to see how those fare outside. I've heard that everyone lives by Kelp, so we got some liquid seaweed and have been adding that to our waterings along with the Miicrobial Mass Pro. Considering grabbing the roots organic terp tea bloom boost or the Athena bloom set-up to see how we feel about this synthetic vs. organic fertilizer discussion and to get some growth happening on these autos. We started LST, but I wish there was more info on like what i'm supposed to be doing fr - feels like I'm just bending the stem 😳 (but we will see how that shakes out)... WELP! That's all folks. So.... another week has come and gone, all the while this medicine keeps growing... Mexican Airlines #3 is a week plus a few days behind the other 2, because I sprouted another liberty bean to fill the tent. MA#3 "seems" to be a "different pheno" than #1 & 2. My reason for this observation is that MA#3 color is just slightly different than 1 & 2!.. Her green for #3 is not as deep a green, but very healthy and vibrant! I wonder how she'll play out... I have very high hopes and expectations for all 3 of these. This week I continued with the LST as well as gentle trimming of fan leaves to allow light to the bud sites.. I probably be more aggressive than I am in this. Also attempting the "bend & hide" of the fan leaves. Really trying not to stress this sativa too much... Still getting that beautiful Ganja smell mixed with the flower and herbal smells from my companion plants.... it's very nice... Mexican Airlines #3 is not showing any trichomes yet, no worries it's only her 1st true week of flowering. MA#1 has the most so far (which is expected) as she has always seemed a faster grower.. MA#2 has them but its still minor.. no worries the babies are growing I still havent added any extra "nutes"!... As I am using FoxFarm Ocean Forest as well as "KIND Hot Soil" (look this up! Wow!). The soil is jammed packed with organic goodness! I cant say enough how great the plants grow in this and how simple it is.... Still watering as needed, using only RO H2O, alternating between "light" and "heavy" waterings.. I love reading your comments and tips, so please post them.. Shes growing really well a very sturdy and easy plant to grow. Everything as should be no deficiencies to talk of. Lots of tops created by daily lst. Seeing her hit her growth spurt and also showing us some lovely pistills. Shes very straight forward to deal with

Late update, ran into some issues with the roots but the end product is still decent. Will make some tweaks next time, the problem was my transplant. I didn’t put the plants down deep enough and the soil was compacted to add. Plants start tipping over and nearly derooted when buds got heavier. Also was using too much nutes, will be switching to coco. Don’t think I used too much, soil just retained a lot of the nutes and water. Hoping coco will solve that issue for me.

Time flies, we have arrived in a flash at day 16, it seems like the other day that the first young ladies were appearing on September 1st. "Do you remember.....nanannana Septermber" She is the Karen Kush, a brand new strain with almost no previous cultivation, it has a crazy name and from the first weeks of growth it actually seems a bit crazy. Low internodal distance, regular growth. I made a small mistake, I personally went a bit easy with the growth fertilizer and there is a slight beginning of nitrogen deficiency, but we solve it immediately by giving the normal doses, don't worry. Usually I am in line with the table now I was slightly under with the grow and I did wrong. Let it be clear that if you see a slight fading, next week you will not see it anymore. --- feeding program - As I mentioned I was shy with fertilization and the seedlings are slightly, very slightly faded, let's learn to notice these small signs and with the normal doses after two or three waterings we should be fine. She's comming along just nicely nice tall branches with stacked bud sites who knew I'd make it dis far its alot of work trial and error it's like a full time job tending to my girls I defol her and the green crack better air flow. And light penetration

Big stretching...i think too far from the lights. she has begun flowering and smells good. Not getting orange, more lemon. She is leggy and I live how her leaves grow.
