7.5.25: I retied down the branches on RQS Northern Lights auto. I had to clean the tent, so the opportunity had to be taken, I hope not to have to move them again. I ended up snapping a small branch off another plant 😖 She is looking so big out of the tent, and even bigger than I thought! Now, having readjustmed, the fabric ties, and she is looking even larger still. This really is an absolute giant of a plant! 😱 I really am struggling to get them all in, I think the 8 gallon pots were a definite factor in that. They certainly are great for getting big plants, but be prepared if you have a small space. She's still stretching and not really focusing on her bud development in these mid flowering weeks. I think we will be in for a long haul with this lady. I hope she doesn't get too much bigger. I watered some bloom nutes after I top dressed, with Mega Crop Part A by Greenleaf Nutrients. I watered 3.2 litres PPM:745 PH:6.0. This time, I'm going to keep the top dressing moist. So as not to kill all the beneficial microbes. Other than that, I will wait until the pots are light again. Overall, she is doing great, I wish she had stretched a little more evenly to catch up in height. I just can't even out the canopy anymore. I'll leave it and hope she'll sort herself out 😅 I'm very excited to see what happens next! This is going to be crazy whatever happens! 😍😋 8.4.25: Northern lights had dried out significantly, so I watered with 2 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4. Containing per litre: ♡ 1/4 tsp of Greenleaf nutrients Sea K(elp). PPM: 800 PH: 6.4 I don't want the top dress to dry out too much, and the plants are starting to drink much more. 9.5.25: It's a necessity to keep the soil moist. That means I need to water more often now. Today I watered with 1.5 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 which contained: ♡ 1/5 tsp of Sea K(elp). By Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 1/4 tsp Ecothrive Biosys. PPM: 564 PH: 6.4 12.5.25: Northern Lights has been srayed with the foliar spray and all symptoms have resolved. Due to having a few leaves burnt with that, I've decided to use the Ecothrive Trace in the water instead. It left some orange spots of damaged leaves. Variété parfaite pour les débutants. Les plantes sont très résistantes aux chocs de température et d'humidité. Elles donnent des rendements satisfaisants et un goût agréable. La runtz a une odeur très sucrée, presque comme un gâteau, je n'avais jamais senti une plante avec une odeur pareille, c'est très agréable. Les plants étaient tous petit, 50 centimètres environ, et n'avaient pas beaucoup d'odeur pendant la floraison, c'est parfait si vous voulez être discret. Concernant les effets, on voit bien que c'est une souche 50% sativa 50% indica. Au début les effets sont euphorisants, elle provoque des rires, mais par la suite et donne un bon effet analgésique, parfait pour aller dormir, je n'ai pas trop de flow de pensé avec et c'est très agréable pour se détendre. J'ai obtenu 34g et 45g sachant que j'ai eu pas mal de problèmes.

Flush is on! A gallon a day each of pH’ed tap water for the next week and a half to 2 weeks. Fall colors galore incoming! One is already going mad purple as I started it on the flush a bit earlier.

The 2 cuttings of my Tiny pot bubba cheesecake on there second topping. these girls look good and im super cropping for strong stems to hold all the main tops.

Colas galore on these sexy mammas. Healthy and happy and blooming along strong now. Gained a touch more height but mostly in bud mass. Rows of branches got me excited for harvest. Its a long way off but I got a good feeling. They got treated with Dr zhymes as a preventative. That will basically wrap up their treatments ...possibly once more with lost coast. Upped the pk intake as they are blooming strong now. Gotta keep those engines well fuelled. Response was stellar. Happy happy happy ladies. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

Day 16-27/12/21 all looking great!!!! Day 20-31/12/21 all looking good just waiting for some space to free up in another tent and I’ll move half of them!!!

They were heavy when I took them out to hang dry. Not sure what I would yield at all, I will definitely get a dry weight.

Day 79 / Flower 31 / Flip ~40 / 18.03 Plants look super frosty. They should be ready in a about 1-2 weeks already. Need to check that carefully though. I will harvest at 10% amber. I'm watering every second day, actually. Using the EC again, but hesi got also organic nutrients in their coco line. EC is at 1.6, i'm using RO (EC 0,0 water). So i'm using even more nutrients, then shown in the hesi nutrient chart. Plants like it, i guess. No signs of burning. It looks like they turn a little bit into purple. I will start to use only water soon to begin flushing and i plan to let them dry out the last 6-7 days. Stress them as much as possible... Day 80 / 19.3 Started flushing stage. Every 2 days. Flushing with EC 0,0 water till 40-50% drain. I have a RO system, costs were 90 e.... Works fine... I have tap water in EC 0,8...The off water from the ec 0,0 water, is still nice, it's ec 0,4... If you want to optimize your grows, that's a thing to do... :) Day 82 / 21.3 Drain EC 0,4 I didn't used any additional heating in this grow. I guess, the temperature was always under 25 degrees. Yield will be lower due to lower temperature. Terpent profile will be better due to lower temperature. I will now do a proper flushing and drying out.. Nutrients will be soaked out of the cocos and the leafs.. Final weed will tatse better like that. That's the idea.... This 2-3 week finish sounds pretty good to me... :)

This week: air bubbles, air bubbles, and AIR BUBBLES, that's why my growth has been weak lol. AAAAAND I wasn't giving them space between the net pots from the water! VERY IMPORTANT NEW DWC-ers lol Sooo this week I was just letting them be. Until I realize I was messing up, everything in the book EXCEPT those 2 things I state above. I just received my new air pump today as am writing this (everything is installed) very pleased with the new pump. But I gotta replace those airstones they seem clogged up (yes I did wash em, warm water and a firm toothbrush) But I've been checking everything down to my pH that's it's constant at 5.8 My PPM is the same when they drink so let's see the difference a week from now. I do start to see lil pistols coming out on the 1st plants I think shes done veggin let's see next week. Week twenty-two is officially done on the Pineapple Upside Down Cake. This week is a turning point, marking the end of vegetative growth and the start of the flowering transition. I decided to switch the light cycle to twelve-twelve. Initially, the plan was to wait for a stronger recovery, but the reality is simple: it wasn’t happening. The plant was given roughly three full weeks to acclimate after stress, and the response stayed limited. Rather than staying stuck in an endless waiting phase, I chose to move forward. This means accepting that flowering may not be extremely vigorous or high-energy. That’s fine. This run is also about observation, learning, and adapting. Flowering was initiated gently, at around three hundred PPFD, to avoid adding more stress. At the same time, I switched the nutrient program to Athena bloom and adjusted the recipe accordingly. The plant has now been under flowering conditions for about twenty-four to forty-eight hours. Over the coming week, I expect to see the first signs of stretch. It’s a bit frustrating, because structurally the plant was doing really well. The LST work created a clean, balanced canopy, and the potential was clearly there. Now the focus is simple. No rushing. No over-correction. Just letting the plant transition naturally into flower and observing how she reacts. Next week will officially mark the first true week of flowering. From there, we’ll reassess posture, stretch, and overall vitality. For now, the plant is left alone to settle into its new rhythm. That’s it for week twenty-two. See you next week.

Opium is missed already, she was my favourite (the other half) and she was brilliant. The outcome section of the diary will not load properly so I will mention how delicious she is right here, it seems insulting of the plant to finish off the diary in the yellow… Opium was a pleasure to grow, she was flawless, she provided me so much therapy and she was strong. The only issue was the moisture in the end but every plant in the garden eventually became victim to the bud rot and she held on as long as she needed. This beauty was not infected by any other ailment and she seemed to home many white spiders along with ladybugs, which is a good sign that she was worth being protected by nature. We can’t even imagine how she would have been if she had been planted in the cover crop bed, it is hard to picture her in a bigger or better form then she actually was. As you can see she had the wash and there wasn’t any waste, we have already pressed some of her in the dab press. Opium has a sweet fruity skunk scent and she tastes exactly the same. To say the least, we are very much enjoying her on a daily but we have been doing that since the day she sprouted. Our wet weight is an estimate due to scale issues which don’t cause us any concern. Believe me when I say, she deserved a green faced diary for her harvest log.🤷‍♀️🏻 💚✌️
