Dear Grow community, The three RG automatic have grown very well and have so far no complaints. They love the temperature and dont need much water. They have grown very fast and already have a light smell.

👉this is week start of week 8 and the switch to the 12/12 schedule. the plant is on the 6th week on the GH nutrient chart for its flora series drain to waste schedule.This is considered early bloom and the only difference from the transition nutrients is the reduction of FloraGrow and addition of Liquid KoolBloom. The water I use is RO water from a medical grade industrial machine (not on site). Its conductivity is .04ms. Its 98.5% pure water. I believe this is helping me mix my nutrients at full strength and achieve the middle to upper end of the recommended ec range. The volume of plant uptake has increased quite alot. I am averaging 2 liters two times a day, but as the week progressed a couple of high flow fertigations were needed to keep the run off below +30ms. I feed my Marigold plant the run-off after Ive measured it. The fertigation station is in a closet in another room and doorways wipe my memory so I fed 99 the runoff a couple days ago (9-16). So I fertigated 1.5 liter immediately. That runoff was close to 30+. The lights were going out so the next morning i fertigated with 4liters. That runoff was +10. That night was 2liters w/.9 liter runoff +10. I plant on keeping the flow a little high to help prevent any nutrient deficiencies while its doing the early flowering stretch. 👉The plant is lush and green and growing as a nice round bush. Stout main stalk and is 21". I began plucking lower leaves that were reducing airflow around the base. These could pose a mildew risk if left on because they are in contact with the pot and reducing airflow across the top of the media. They were shaded now by the expanding branches above so it was time to remove them. I like to take leaves gradually, one or two per fertigation event. I also have taken off the bottom 3 branches. They were healthy and had plenty of potential bud sites...but they would be in the shade and never meet the potential of the upper buds. I may take two more low branches, but I will keep them if they keep stretching outward and upwards and stay in the direct light. When they start flowering full time I will have removed as many of the potential larf bud nodes on the interior of each branch. Nothing extreme, just the basic lollipop on the bottom and reducing larf production up top. 👉I am using a cordless work light to make the pictures better. My phone camera flash isnt bright enough to over come the LED blurple and the addition of the very bright work light makes the picture way better. As you can see I will still be taking some of the pix with the LEDs on, but also use the camera flash and the work light and that helps bring out the green better. But lights out show a more detailed realistic image and I will include more pix this way. 👉Switching to 12/12 has been a challenge. I work varied hours and making it home before lights out is hit and miss. Also being a stoner I forget stuff if I get distracted by a movie, a sporting event or a shiny object, so visits to the tent during dark times will happen. I have green lights installed in the room and in the hallway. I have a good headlamp with green LEDs. I missed the first day and had to fertigate after hours...sigh. I took pictures with the green light on but no flash.

Just checking the trichome heads daily to harvest them at the for me perfect moment.

Day 42 / Week 6 Flower begins today - 22/12/2021. EC - EC has been a little high, rising to as high as 1.9 overnight after approx 16hrs since last feed. Inflow is 1.3 and will probably remain there or even be backed off slightly to 1.2 until the plants show they require more as if it keeps rising I will have to lower the EC slightly. I believe it is the Ultimate PK sending the EC higher as that is the only thing that has changed. Still giving less than half of what mills suggest and the girls don’t seem to mind, if anything they are getting slightly overfed as above suggests. Multifeeding - I am currently feeding every 4 hours, 2 hours after lights on and 2 hours before lights off for a total for 3 x per day, 2l per plant per feed. Always with 20% or greater runoff. Defoliation - I am still only removing about 7-10 leaves per plant every 4 or 5 days if they are beginning to cover or shade bud sites below. If they are not causing issues, I won’t remove them as I don’t want to cause any unnecessary stress at this stage. “LST” - The string is still attached from the “LST”, it does not seem to be affecting the plant and is keeping centre of the plants exposed pretty well so I’m trying to just keep the string on. As the weeks go on, if the branches require support instead of tying down, I will tie them up the frame of the tent probably. Both girls buds are beginning to fatten up, especially along the main branches are becoming more developed and more colours are coming on MOP 2 which is the more purple and prettier of the two phenos (for now). Even the lower stuff on both girls is a lot larger than the last time so I’m happy already as I’d imagine the tops will be even larger and there is still approx 3 weeks / 21 days remaining. Can’t wait to see how much more these progress in the coming weeks. 🙏🏻🤙🏻💚

Flower Week 6 is over, and the girl is simply doing her thing while putting on an amazing display of fall colors. The tips of the leaves have started turning a beautiful dark purple against a bright green background, creating an amazing contrast across the canopy. At this point, the video really speaks for itself. :) 💜 The older fan leaves at the bottom continue to fade as the plant pulls the last bits of nitrogen from them. I’ve been letting them do their job and removing them once they turn brown, just before they’re ready to fall off by themselves. This week, she also received another dose of BioEnhancer. Other than that, there isn’t much intervention needed anymore. She’s just cruising along, focusing her energy on the flowers and slowly but surely making her way into the final couple of weeks. The experiment is still running smoothly, the colors are getting better by the day, and now it’s all about watching her finish. 🌸💜✨

EDIT: I thought the girls were done growing verticaly but i guess not. I measured at 51cm 2 times in a row. I just went to check and theyre 58 to 60cm and still going. (Day 37) Growth: This week vertical growth slowed down while the branches are catching up. I had a nitrogen deficiency on all the girls. I still go by the water,water,feed schedule and i usually have 2 dry days between every watering. So they only had 3 feedings of Terra Vega all this time. I think ill do water feed water now that flowering has begun. Lets hope these girls will put on some weight 😁 I added 1 100W cob and will be adding more the coming months. I also have a tent on the way. Training: I defoliated the 4 girls that are in flower and stopped applying LST. #5 (1 week behind) on the other hand got manhandled lol. I accidentally broke off the top and she got supercropped and bounces back within hours. Nutrients: 2ml Canna Terra Vega>>>1.5ml Canna Terra Vega 1ml Canna Terra Flores 2.5ml Cannazym 1x per week

Things are looking 👌 🔥 😍 Looks like Red Strawberry Banana by Sweet Seeds wants to finish soon , hairs are browning up. She is frosty already & smell like sweet, skunk, banana & pine. Maybe two weeks, will see. Hasn't required much water or food. But that SMELL !! Took away Xl girls restraining aka lst.

D71/F23 - 11.29 - Maybe didn't love the defoliation, but looking ok. No discoloration or anything, just a little slower to start chunking up than its neighbors. <3 D73/F26 - 12.1 - The 3x3 9lb seems to have done better with the defoliation, but after I fed with a bit of molasses, found some fungus gnats flying around. Have traps and diatomaceous earth down, so we should nip this pretty quickly. D74/F27 - 12.2 - A little concerned about this one cola whose top pistils seem curled compared to the other on the plant. Take a look and let me know if this is normal or not. All my mature fungus gnats have been trapped, not seeing anymore buzzing around. I suppose the larva could still do a little damage for now? D76/F29 - 12.4 - Doing fine in the 4x5 tent :)

This was a beautiful strain to grow. With her flowers getting big towards the end of harvest as well as the purple colours! I would definitely recommend that you try grow this strain. The buds are super dense and very well formed. An absolute treat to smoke and look at.

Week 3 of Flower (Day 15-21) Should be the last days of stretch. Hopefully, because the height is limited and i do not want to rethink the top of my growtent. Beautiful flower development and i have had no problems in flower so far. I will turn the nutes up a bit, as they have not complained so far. Furthermore, i will lollipop or make a major defoliation when stretch is done, in order to deal with temp and humidity. (airflow) 👽👉24/10 Praying hands, very happy ladies. 👽👉25/10 I am keeping a close eye to the grow, as i have implemented low-energy-consumption solutions, whenever the price of electricity is higest. Meaning the climate is less steady, in some times on the day. 👽👉26/10 I was supposed to water today, however my schedule did not allow. They do not have any drooping leaves yet, they will be fine. 👽👉27/10 Waterday* and cleaning up the dead bottom leaves. Sep 24: starting new diary to accommodate 30 week limit on Growdiaries. Buds are nearly ready but weather is good so will keep her going a bit longer. Nothing harvested from this plant yet but the clones are mostly harvested and produced great dense buds. Fantastic plant. Sep 28: took 995 g wet in first round which might be half of the plant, but I think I’ll end up over 2 kg wet which means 454 g dry is possible. Come on, I still haven’t had a one pound plant. Either way, this is the best growing strain I’ve ever tried, the buds are great and trimming is a total breeze. 👍👍
